This is the show where the guys attempt to pick the winners of the weekly NFL games along with some healthy debate about current topics. [00:01:27] Speaker C: Let's go. [00:01:28] Speaker D: Duds. Dudes. [00:01:30] Speaker C: Dudes. I was supposed to say it. [00:01:33] Speaker D: Duds. [00:01:33] Speaker C: Dudes. I'm a dude. [00:01:35] Speaker D: He's a dude. [00:01:36] Speaker C: She's a dude. Supposed to be the part where I shake my hair, but I don't have any. [00:01:42] Speaker D: Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger. Can I take your order? [00:01:46] Speaker C: What do you think is funnier? That. Or who loves orange Soda? [00:01:50] Speaker A: Oh, I don't. [00:01:52] Speaker D: Orange Soda. [00:01:53] Speaker C: Moody's Point. Do you know Moody's Point? [00:01:54] Speaker A: No. [00:01:55] Speaker C: What? [00:01:55] Speaker D: Isn't he all like, into Orange Soda and Good Burger though too? [00:01:58] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. But Moody's Point, Amanda show. [00:02:03] Speaker A: I. I don't know all that. What? [00:02:06] Speaker C: Nickelodeon. [00:02:07] Speaker A: Huh? [00:02:08] Speaker C: You're so old. [00:02:10] Speaker A: That's not. [00:02:11] Speaker D: No, that would actually. [00:02:12] Speaker C: You think Bob's best song or their best song by Hansen is mbop? What an idiot. [00:02:17] Speaker A: It's. It's actually not. It's not their best song. [00:02:20] Speaker C: He said that in the cart. [00:02:22] Speaker D: This is like thinking that Sugar Ray was a chill band. They were a heavy metal band, actually. [00:02:27] Speaker A: Sugar Ray. Really? [00:02:28] Speaker D: Before they came out with like their Someday album. [00:02:31] Speaker C: They were having more like Just want to fly Sunday morning. [00:02:36] Speaker A: I just want to fly. [00:02:37] Speaker C: Let's hear about our question of the day, guys. [00:02:39] Speaker D: Yeah, sorry, I was going to hit. [00:02:39] Speaker C: Me with it here, Kyle. [00:02:41] Speaker A: So you guys, I have. I work remotely and all my coworkers are all over the country and so on. And I'm part of a leadership team with some other directors and I tend to be the one who organizes team meetups when occasionally we travel away from our homes to get together in person. Doesn't happen that often, but this time I'm getting to host all the other directors as four other directors and the two owners of the company here in my hometown. So I'm gonna put them up in an Airbnb. A nice one here in Jackson. Yeah, there's a really nice one I. [00:03:13] Speaker D: Found kind of curious. Where. [00:03:14] Speaker A: I'll have to show you pictures later. It's sweet. [00:03:16] Speaker C: It's my bankruptcy. [00:03:17] Speaker A: This place is legit. It's legit. So the old studio I got lodging taken care of. We'll be able to co work here at my office. But what should I feed this crew? And do you have any activity suggestions that are quintessential Jackson? Jackson a sure thing to make it a memorable experience. [00:03:35] Speaker D: Food. There are two places that I would recommend. [00:03:39] Speaker A: Okay. [00:03:40] Speaker D: One is a Jackson classic. They have to experience a West Point Burger. [00:03:47] Speaker A: West Point Burger? [00:03:48] Speaker C: Really? [00:03:49] Speaker A: That was not on my list. Okay. [00:03:51] Speaker D: I really think that should be on their list. [00:03:52] Speaker A: Okay. [00:03:53] Speaker C: Let the record show I have not influenced your picks. Number two. Okay. [00:03:57] Speaker A: But do you support that choice? [00:03:58] Speaker C: I want to hear a second. [00:03:59] Speaker A: Okay. [00:03:59] Speaker D: My second one is because I think this is like one of my favorite, like places to go and eat. If I'm not going to go to West Point is the Dirty bird. [00:04:09] Speaker A: Oh, okay. That's fine. [00:04:10] Speaker D: I like their. [00:04:10] Speaker A: Fine. [00:04:11] Speaker D: It's like, you know, it's not like one of the better ones, but I like their food. [00:04:15] Speaker C: It's one of your favorites. [00:04:17] Speaker D: It's one of my favorites. [00:04:17] Speaker C: Okay. So my opinion when it comes to if you're coming to Jackson, what you need to try. [00:04:22] Speaker A: Yeah, what is it? [00:04:23] Speaker C: You need to have Hinkleys. They need to experience waiting in line and definitely get them donuts. [00:04:28] Speaker D: That's an easy sign. [00:04:29] Speaker C: I honestly think they need to go there. I don't want to say. Yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I understand that. But there is an ambiance of you are every ilk of Jackson is there. [00:04:38] Speaker A: Right. [00:04:39] Speaker C: The rich. We're right down the street from the homeless shelter. [00:04:42] Speaker A: Right. [00:04:43] Speaker C: Like say with it what you will. And everybody's in there. [00:04:46] Speaker A: I know. [00:04:47] Speaker C: That's my first thing. [00:04:48] Speaker A: Yeah. Cash only. [00:04:49] Speaker C: Yeah. Yep. So I'm in on that. [00:04:51] Speaker D: I just got this image of him. All right team, we gotta go down here. [00:04:55] Speaker C: Guys. We're gonna walk down the street. [00:04:57] Speaker D: Dude, it's 6:00am this is literally the time we have to go. [00:05:01] Speaker C: I'm gonna give you the four courses. Okay. So we just. Breakfast was right there. [00:05:06] Speaker A: Okay. [00:05:06] Speaker C: Okay. Lunch. I hate to say it, but you're wrong. I'm going Kibbe Cobb. [00:05:13] Speaker A: Really? [00:05:14] Speaker C: Kibbe Cobb Deli. That's what I would do for lunch. West Point would be here all week. I can do West Point's my backup lunch. Why was it dinner? [00:05:21] Speaker A: Okay. [00:05:22] Speaker D: West Point. I'm just. [00:05:23] Speaker C: I'm just of what my choice was. [00:05:26] Speaker D: Continue. Continue dinner. [00:05:28] Speaker C: Agma. [00:05:29] Speaker A: Okay. [00:05:29] Speaker C: I recently had a burger at Agma. Ian, you talked about burgers from West Point. I could turn my fork around and cut it with the handle. It was so tender. [00:05:39] Speaker D: They so good food. Agma is also very popular brewery as well. So that would just be probably a hot spot. Anyways right now they are like really. [00:05:49] Speaker C: Great for your teammates. Great. And you finish dinner by you beforehand. Getting blue julep cupcakes for them. Or you go next door to RJ's Sweet Treats. [00:05:59] Speaker A: Okay. [00:05:59] Speaker C: At Metropolitan. [00:06:00] Speaker A: These are good. [00:06:01] Speaker C: These are good ideas what they're going to do. You might ask. That is where I come into play. Okay. Well I got at least. [00:06:09] Speaker D: Oh hit me with a couple options. [00:06:11] Speaker A: Okay. [00:06:12] Speaker D: If this is a team, I mean you're. You have to do a throwing. [00:06:17] Speaker C: Thank you. [00:06:17] Speaker A: I like the ax throwing. [00:06:18] Speaker D: That's like a no brainer to me. [00:06:20] Speaker C: No brainer. [00:06:20] Speaker D: You have to do a throwing. [00:06:21] Speaker A: It's fun. [00:06:22] Speaker D: And kill shot. [00:06:24] Speaker C: Yeah. You know it. If you know. [00:06:25] Speaker D: Yeah. And then I would also the you like escape rooms and we have a decent one here. [00:06:32] Speaker C: Y epic escapes. [00:06:33] Speaker A: We will definitely do that. [00:06:34] Speaker D: So those are two easy ones. Yeah. As well. And then you own by the same people. You really want to go old school? I'll skate. [00:06:42] Speaker A: Oh, okay. Okay. Here we go. [00:06:49] Speaker C: Get that some grown ass men at 2pm on a Tuesday. [00:06:53] Speaker A: Actually we could do the laser tag. Yeah, I've done that on a team meetup. It was a blast. [00:06:58] Speaker C: Don't hate. Don't hate it. [00:07:00] Speaker D: Yeah. But that's just classic. Yeah. [00:07:02] Speaker C: I fall if I fall doing that right now. I'm there for the rest of my life. You'll find me on the floor at all skate. [00:07:08] Speaker D: Doing the podcast for if they're more Ice skaters. I mean, Optimus is right there. [00:07:12] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:07:13] Speaker C: I think they got to go check out Bright Walls, see some of the local tourism. [00:07:17] Speaker A: Great. [00:07:19] Speaker C: Afterwards, you know, kind of check out what the real Jackson's like. I would like them to walk up and down Prospect Street. [00:07:26] Speaker A: Stop. [00:07:27] Speaker C: Okay. [00:07:27] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:07:28] Speaker A: Come on. [00:07:28] Speaker D: Okay. [00:07:30] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:07:31] Speaker C: Priors is right there. It's a great burger place, right? Yeah, I guess. Besides that, I would say there aren't really a ton of, like, activity activities that. I think I'm more of a food person, so. Okay, good questions. [00:07:44] Speaker A: I've got something else I want to run by guys now, mostly Marshall. I expect you will probably weigh in, but this is really a situation that I need Ian to provide a judgment on. [00:07:58] Speaker D: Oh, no. [00:07:59] Speaker A: An official ruling. So this is going. I'm going to consider your ruling binding. [00:08:05] Speaker C: Does that mean that I can give my take first and then Ian gives the ultimate. [00:08:09] Speaker A: You. You can provide counsel if you desire on this particular matter, but your ruling is binding, and I will honor what you say. So I want you to. [00:08:19] Speaker D: This is pressure. [00:08:20] Speaker A: I want you to hear my case. [00:08:22] Speaker D: Okay. [00:08:22] Speaker A: And I want you to hear it out in its entirety, and then I will hand the floor to you, and you will render your judgment. If you need martial consultation with. [00:08:30] Speaker D: Consultation. [00:08:30] Speaker A: If you want his counsel, that's. That's fine. Okay. And I'm a little stressed about this, if I'm being honest, because there's. [00:08:37] Speaker C: All right, hurry up. [00:08:38] Speaker A: I want you to rule in my favor and give me the answer. I want to be here, but I will honor what you say. [00:08:43] Speaker D: Okay. [00:08:44] Speaker A: Now, I'll. I'll tell you the question, and then I'll give you my case. My question is, can I buy lion's gear? [00:08:56] Speaker D: Ooh. Okay. [00:08:59] Speaker A: Okay. So give it to me. Here's the thing. You know, you. You and are my friends know me as a Packer. [00:09:09] Speaker C: The audience. [00:09:10] Speaker A: The audience. I know me as a Packer fan, although I think I try. I go to great lengths for this. Purposes of this show to be as impartial as possible, provide you do a. [00:09:20] Speaker D: Much better job than I do. [00:09:21] Speaker A: Really? I try and comment on the league to be fair. I try very hard to keep up on NFL in general and follow the whole. Thank you. Thank you for doing that. [00:09:32] Speaker C: One more time. One more time. [00:09:34] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:09:34] Speaker C: To be fair, if you ever hear Ian say, to be fair, and we missed that, we owe you a dollar. [00:09:39] Speaker A: Yes. That's. That's amazing. Thank you for using it wherever I was. [00:09:45] Speaker D: Oh. [00:09:45] Speaker A: So. But I tried to be pretty impartial, but in my personal Life. For as long as I can remember, I've been a pretty loyal and enthusiastic fan of the Green Bay packers going back to when I was a child and discovering sports and becoming enamored with, you know, their, their passing offense and their story. And it was really great. The Lions weren't good at the time, but I've always been here and I've always watched the Lions and I've genuinely been an enthusiastic supporter and fan for just as long, Just as long. Going, we're going back to Charlie Batch and Jason Hansen and so on. Like, I have never missed the Lions and have always. [00:10:27] Speaker D: This is a good sign that you can name those players. By the way, you're already half my attention. [00:10:33] Speaker A: So like I, I've been. I mean, I know I've missed a lot of. When I say I missed, I didn't. I don't mean that I haven't missed games. I don't get to watch as much football as I would like and I never have. But I've, I've been a very enthusiastic supporter of the Lions. There's never been a time where I've considered this a rivalry that is important to me. Like beating the Lions is important. I, and if I joked about that in the past, it's mostly just a between you and I kind of thing. But I always cheer for the Lions in every context when they play the Packers. It's a conflict for me and I am so passionate about this team. I watch every Dan Campbell after game speech and get emotional about it. [00:11:18] Speaker D: So good. [00:11:18] Speaker A: I am telling everybody I know about the Lions story. All the football people, the non football people in my life are hearing about the Lions from me. Last year in the NFC Championship game, I swear I didn't sit down the entire game. I stood in my living room in front of the TV the entire time with my kids running around like monsters. I couldn't take my eyes off the tv. I could not stop watching this game, praying that they would actually do it, beat the Niners. Like, I am very enthusiastic about this team. But this raises a very critical question. Is it okay to be a fan of multiple teams? Some have different opinions on this. Is that okay? And more importantly, is it okay to be the kind of fan who kind of, you could say it comes out of the closet in a way and start sporting the gear when the team is doing well, giving all appearances of being a fair weather fan. So I say to you it is fair. It is 100% fair for you to rule. [00:12:22] Speaker C: All right, let's hear it. Ian You've given enough caveat for you to rule, Kyle. [00:12:26] Speaker A: Go to hell. You are not. You haven't been there. You are not an official Lions fan. Don't sport any Lions gear. That's insulting. If you rule that, I will respect it and I will never buy any Lions gear and I will just be happy for you. And that's it. And that's. That's your if. Otherwise, if you say that like welcome me, like I'm going to go out and I'm going to buy something and I'm going to rejoice alongside you in this beautiful season that they're having. [00:12:59] Speaker D: So I already know my judgment, but I was curious on what your. What your consultation would have been. Marshall. [00:13:05] Speaker C: This is a Michigan fan wearing Notre Dame stuff. I am against that part of it. I am not against people that aren't big Lions fans becoming Lions fans. That's different. Arrival is different than. I have a hard time with that. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. And I know we've talked about that before in terms of. [00:13:27] Speaker A: Specifically because these two are division because of rivalry. Like if it was just another team. [00:13:32] Speaker C: It was the Texans and the. And the Cowboys. Totally different. [00:13:37] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. That's an argument for sure. These teams play each other twice every single year. They have a storied history of directly competing. Amarab shows up with a Green Bay sucks to the game. Like that's a. It's fair. [00:13:52] Speaker D: Okay. My judgment, my opinion is I'm really. [00:13:57] Speaker C: Excited, by the way. Super excited. [00:14:00] Speaker D: Really excited. I have known you for a long time to know that every time we do talk lines you are generally supportive of the team. Sometimes hypercritical, but you do tend to root for them. I as well have a jersey of another team. I mean now granted it's Matt Stafford for the Rams. So that's kind of like adjacent here. [00:14:33] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [00:14:35] Speaker D: But the. But were you there when they went 0 and 16? [00:14:47] Speaker A: Do you want me to count for that season? [00:14:52] Speaker D: I'm just making you sweat. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. [00:14:55] Speaker A: Oh gosh. [00:14:56] Speaker D: I actually don't. The reason why is that you will take on the fair weather fandom from people if you're willing to accept that that's your. That's fine. That's what it is. [00:15:06] Speaker C: What about the fact that it's finally. The packers aren't. They've had three generational quarterbacks in a row and now the first time they're not the beyond all favorite in the division. You pick another team. [00:15:21] Speaker D: He's not picking another team though. I don't get the sense. [00:15:25] Speaker C: Is he wearing two jerseys? [00:15:26] Speaker D: Would you. If. Let's say, who would you root for if the NFC Championship game was those two teams? [00:15:36] Speaker A: I don't know. [00:15:38] Speaker C: Bullshit. Can I get a Sounder that says that this season? You are so full of it. [00:15:45] Speaker A: Lions. [00:15:46] Speaker C: Oh, a classic Kyle Bauer pick. The classic Kyle Mauer pick. Pick against the Packers. Then when the packers win, you're like, huh, I went either way. [00:15:56] Speaker D: It's hard to not. So you live in an environment where you're getting. You're going to watch and see more lines exposure. Naturally. Now we do get a lot of Green Bay exposure here still as well. We are exposed to a lot of their games, but. So it is very easy to understand how you can develop a fandom for two teams. [00:16:16] Speaker A: Right. [00:16:17] Speaker D: Marshall does raise the good point about them being divisional rivalries. [00:16:21] Speaker A: Right. [00:16:22] Speaker D: And how you would have to treat that. But that is more of a personal question. You have to ask yourself that. I don't think either of us can answer that question for you. [00:16:30] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:16:30] Speaker D: If you are a fan of a team, you have every right to buy their stuff and wear it. [00:16:37] Speaker C: All right, You've heard it. [00:16:39] Speaker D: I'm not going to gatekeep you. I'm not going to be the one to tell you no. They're my team. They're not my team. [00:16:44] Speaker C: You heard it. [00:16:44] Speaker D: I mean, they are my team. [00:16:46] Speaker C: He won't, but he. Let's move on to our hot tip. [00:16:52] Speaker A: Thank you. Can I just say thank you. I'm delighted. [00:16:55] Speaker D: Now the question would be is what would. What were you hoping to get? [00:16:59] Speaker A: Oh my gosh. I've seen so much that I really want. I'm just. I'm gonna probably be up tonight shopping. [00:17:05] Speaker D: It's gotta be a jersey. [00:17:06] Speaker A: A jersey. [00:17:07] Speaker D: It would. [00:17:07] Speaker B: It has to be. [00:17:08] Speaker A: I need to buy a jersey. [00:17:09] Speaker C: He's saying what you need to buy now. [00:17:11] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:17:13] Speaker C: Think about it. Next week, report back to the pod. [00:17:15] Speaker D: It has to be a jersey, but. [00:17:16] Speaker C: Report back to the pod. [00:17:17] Speaker D: It has to be a Green Bay sucks shirt. [00:17:21] Speaker C: All right, guys, let's hear from our first take. It's from the Commish. [00:17:30] Speaker B: This is Adam Silver, AKA the Commish. And this is the Commish Report. Before I comment on anything about the game itself, I've been supporting this team from the sidelines for the past 30 odd years. My loyalty has never wavered. So with that I have every right to give my opinion about the piss poor product that's currently being rolled out on the field. Yeah. Ready? Here we go. All right. Not only was this a winnable game, it was a necessary game that should have not been up for grabs in the fourth quarter. Instead, yet another game where the team grasps defeats from the jaws of victory. Come on, Seriously. It's hard to win a game with your hands around your throat. Nine penalties at home, pre snap and holding penalties killed. Another two drives today. Inexcusable. Full stop. No discipline. And that clearly falls on the coaching staff, specifically Shanahan, as this is his offensive unit. Speaking of Shanny, his play calling has gotten stale and predictable. If I can see what's coming, so can the opposing team. I mean, it's obvious other than Jennings, there is really no threat in the passing game. And since IUK is out for the year, there is no speed at the receiver position as well. Debo is a step slower and he was never a deep threat anyways. Yeah, KO was out today, but folks, you should be conditioned to that narrative by now. We'll never have another one where everyone's healthy. And unfortunately, once you remove one of the starters, the depth of the quality drops off quickly. Now, I love me cmc, but Mason was having a great year in his absence. I'm not saying CMC shouldn't be the starter and get back of most of the carries, but damn, mix it up a little bit without running McCaffrey back into the IR. I mean, it's obvious, right? The O line sucks and is a liability. Other than Trent and Puni, the rest are expendable. The killer Bees, Brendo and banks along with McKivitz, excel at committing untimely penalties and or sacks. In my mind, it's the biggest area of concern for the off season. Looks like Bosa will be up multiple games, which is an absolute killer. Who else can provide the pressure? Floyd sometimes, sure, but not as much as we all hoped for after he was signed. The middle without Hargrave is softer than a jelly donut and susceptible to teams ramming it down our throats at will. Special teams didn't kill us this week, but that's the exception to the rule. Oh, man. Yeah. There's always next week and segue into next week. It will be the first game this year where the team is the underdog. Get used to that as well. The level of competition is about to get ratcheted up. Bottom line, this is not currently a championship level team. As pill parcels used to say. Quote, we are what our record says we are. End quote. Right now, that's last place in our division. Could the team turn it around? Theoretically, sure, yeah. But it's kind of a vain hope. Try convincing yourself that this team can compete against the best teams out there right now. We'll see several in the weeks to come, starting with Green Bay and Buffalo and on the road and on later on against Detroit. Hard to make an intelligent argument that this team can win any of those games. In the case of the Lions, that might be a complete embarrassment and a bow on the season, if you will. I hope I'm wrong, but unless things change immediately, regardless of who's playing, because no one cares about that excuse anymore, this is no better than an eight win team. And if that indeed does happen, it will officially close the super bowl window for this version of the 49er team. Hashtag on life support. Hashtag code blue. Hashtag bring in the crash cart. This was the Chemistry Report. [00:20:48] Speaker A: Holy cow. [00:20:50] Speaker C: Last place. That's rough. [00:20:52] Speaker A: Brutal. [00:20:52] Speaker D: Now granted, the NFC west is all. They're either 500 or barely above. So Arizona's leading at 6 and 4 and then everybody else is 5 and 5. [00:21:01] Speaker A: That's crazy. [00:21:02] Speaker D: Which is actually I think currently the only division where that is true. [00:21:06] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:21:07] Speaker D: Where everybody is 500 or better. [00:21:09] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:21:09] Speaker C: Love it. [00:21:10] Speaker D: That used to be the north, but the Bears are starting to suck ass, so. [00:21:13] Speaker A: Right. Right. We saw it coming. [00:21:15] Speaker C: Commission. I like your breakdown of defensive interior alignment. I didn't think we would get that anywhere else. So. I appreciate it. [00:21:22] Speaker D: I do. [00:21:22] Speaker A: I actually than a jelly donut was. [00:21:25] Speaker D: Very interested on his take of the Niners this week because of the fact that they have been struggling this year and we are kind of at that point where we're like, you're starting to hit the back stretch here. [00:21:37] Speaker C: You ready for it? And it ain't getting any better because you're going to have to pay Purdy this summer and you're going to lose a lot of that team. Goodbye. Trent Williams is going to retire and you're going to lose Christian McCaffrey and you're going to lose. You're going to lose a lot of this team. [00:21:51] Speaker D: Yeah, I think he's right. When if they don't figure it out. [00:21:55] Speaker C: I will say this year it's the first year I feel like Purdy has been the person who's made touchdowns. Like he's actually thrown people open. He's been responsible for touchdowns more than There was Debo 45 yards downfield open. [00:22:10] Speaker D: There was on Good Morning Football. They. They had. This was at the beginning of the season. This was before games had even started. And they had only done, like, two preseason games. I. Oh, man, I wish I remember the guy's name, but there was a video I was watching of him, and he was talking about the Niners, and he said, before the season even started, he said that was a team that just looked like they've been, like, gassed. Like they. They have been to four out of five NFC Championship games. They have been to two Super Bowls. They have lost to the same team. And he said, like, one. He was watching them in a preseason game when it was all their starters out there. They just looked defeated. Like they looked like they were just done. Like, we can't do it. Like this isn't it right. And they just, like, lost all motivation. [00:23:03] Speaker C: I loved it. I love. They need a reality check. They've had it too good for too long. Goodbye. [00:23:09] Speaker A: Right. [00:23:10] Speaker C: Come back in 10 years. [00:23:12] Speaker A: Yeah. We could be witnessing the. The. The downhill slope of the Shanahan era. [00:23:18] Speaker C: And I'm glad to see it. Speaking of things, I'm glad to see Dallas. Tim DeWitt writes in. Dallas is a hot mess. Their stadium is even falling apart. Should they give Trey Lance a shot? Just to see a little stat right here for you guys when it comes to Dallas. In the last six home games they've had, including the playoffs, they've had two minutes of time where they were leading. They've had 109 minutes of losing by more than 20 points. [00:23:48] Speaker D: That game they were leading, by the way, was against the Lions. [00:23:51] Speaker C: All 2 minutes and 15 seconds came against the Lions, which we know how. [00:23:56] Speaker D: That game turned out, by the way. [00:23:58] Speaker C: Nuts. [00:23:58] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:23:59] Speaker C: So Dallas is a dumpster fire. I think they're going to be a team that like drafts. Ashton. Ashton Gentee off of Boise State and thinks that getting A running back 8th overall is going to save their team. I wish them the best of luck. Bijan Robinson, they thought the same with him. He's a great player. Has not changed the Atlanta Falcons in the last three years. [00:24:17] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:24:18] Speaker C: And their stadium falling apart was very scary. That a piece of metal fell from the top of the building and almost came inches from hitting somebody and almost. [00:24:27] Speaker D: Before the game did hit him, he. [00:24:28] Speaker C: Just close to him. [00:24:29] Speaker D: Yeah, it was very close to hitting him. [00:24:31] Speaker A: Now. [00:24:31] Speaker D: It did come out. It like it was very obvious it was falling. [00:24:34] Speaker C: Sure. [00:24:35] Speaker D: But I mean. [00:24:35] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't think the people down there were looking for it. [00:24:38] Speaker D: No, he clearly wasn't looking. [00:24:39] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:24:39] Speaker C: Tim DeWitt also writes in. Bengals have way too much talent to be 4 and 7. What's going on there, guys? We talked about the Bengals, many times. Yeah. [00:24:49] Speaker D: Their problem, they have the third worst defense in the league. [00:24:54] Speaker A: Exactly what I was going to say. [00:24:56] Speaker D: Their defense is awful. [00:24:57] Speaker A: It's trash. Yeah, it gives up. [00:24:59] Speaker D: The talent they have is limited to Burrow and Chase and that's about it. They're running games. [00:25:08] Speaker C: T. Higgins was great last week. [00:25:10] Speaker D: All right, all right. [00:25:11] Speaker C: Last two weeks been great since injury. [00:25:12] Speaker D: They have some. They have more talent. [00:25:14] Speaker C: And he's gone next year because he's franchise tagged and who's gonna pay him again? [00:25:18] Speaker D: They have like some random running back now. Brown, he's all right. Like he's been doing fine, but he's not. [00:25:24] Speaker C: That's his trouble. For the Bengals, though. You know, as a team, your team is not going to go out and spend millions of dollars in the free agency. You're going to need to hit on draft picks and you're going to need to do it quick because they're in a window right now. And speaking of windows, for them, like Joe Burrow against the Ravens, they've. He has nine throwing. He's thrown nine touchdowns and lost both games. The Steelers beat the Ravens without scoring a touchdown. [00:25:53] Speaker A: This doesn't make a lot of sense. [00:25:55] Speaker C: Things that don't make sense. Joe Burrow through 11 games, they're four and seven. Right. He's thrown over 3,000 yards passing, 27 touchdowns and five picks. There's only been four other players to achieve 3,000 yards passing, 27 touchdown and five or fewer interceptions through 11 games. Those people Drew Brees in 2018, they went 13 and three. Patrick Mahomes in 2020, he went 14 and two. Aaron Rodgers in 2011 and 2020, they went 15 and one and 13 and three. And more importantly, Tom Brady when they went 16. Zero. [00:26:38] Speaker D: Yeah, he's clearly balling out and he's being. [00:26:41] Speaker C: That says it all. [00:26:42] Speaker A: It's incredible production for a losing team. [00:26:45] Speaker D: I also saw a very interesting stat. No, no. Oh, let me tell you something about Justin Herbert. Funny you mentioned his name. There was an interesting stat that was out there that teams with the third, like the third worst defenses in the league, generally have a losing record. Except Justin Herbert with the chargers, they went 9 and 8 when they had the third worst defense in the league. [00:27:13] Speaker C: Do you know the team that they had that lost in the first round of the playoffs years back? They were the only team that's been number one overall offense, number one overall defense, and then the worst special teams in the league. League. That's a funny riddle about the Chargers. They kind of. They're peculiar to me, Tim, the Bengals, I hear every year they start late. They're late, you know, but you can't do that. You can't keep doing that. [00:27:41] Speaker D: Four and seven, they're done. Like their season's done. [00:27:45] Speaker C: We're talking about are they real or not? And we said this week we're going to learn a lot. Jamie Eslaw writes in do the Steelers have the foundation to make a run or is it all smoke and mirrors? Because if you watch that pick that Russell Wilson threw in the back of the end zone, you're. I'm very. And no touchdown, no offensive touchdowns. I'm very tempted to say smoke and mirrors, but it's a one game sample. [00:28:11] Speaker D: On the defensive side of things. Same thing. Who was the defensive player that literally ripped the ball out of Justice Hill's hands for the interception? [00:28:22] Speaker C: It was pretty awesome. [00:28:23] Speaker D: Their defense, and this is, this has been. [00:28:26] Speaker C: If you watch it, by the way, it doesn't even look like a pick. Like, it looks just like a football player. [00:28:30] Speaker D: I know they. This is one thing about the Steelers that I feel like has been true for a while, all the way back to Ben Roethlisberger days. Their defense has always been really good, really tough, really stout. They have only ever needed a competent offense and Ben Roethlisberger down the stretch was. He just didn't have it anymore. And then you were in this middle ground because you had no succession plan. [00:29:01] Speaker A: Right. [00:29:02] Speaker D: And so now you have Russell Wilson who still. I think we have seen enough to know he still has something to offer. And you have Justin Fields, where I think they actually know how to use him in an intelligent way. [00:29:16] Speaker C: Maybe that's proof that someone that's a good coach could. [00:29:19] Speaker D: Right. And so I actually do think they have the capability. [00:29:25] Speaker C: Okay. [00:29:26] Speaker D: To do something in the playoffs. Do I think they are contenders right now? Maybe not in that category, but I do think that I wouldn't be completely shocked if I saw them do something. [00:29:41] Speaker C: In the playoffs, making a run. Okay. That's where. So when it comes to like the games that we have here that we talked about, we talked a little bit about Dallas, I want to hear what you think. We're going to talk a little draft for a little bit. We're fast forwarding. What would you do if you're Dallas in the draft, Kyle? Would you do what I said about Ashton Gentee? You know, Jamie Wrightson, he wants to know what Dallas would do in the draft. You're not a big draft guy. It's not a huge thing. You don't love the Draft even though you attended last year. [00:30:08] Speaker A: Yeah, I don't. [00:30:09] Speaker C: What's your take on that for the. [00:30:11] Speaker A: What should Dallas do? [00:30:12] Speaker C: Yeah, what should they do? They got so many holes. [00:30:14] Speaker A: They're. [00:30:15] Speaker C: They're going to lose Micah Parsons potentially. [00:30:19] Speaker A: Don't. [00:30:19] Speaker C: Where do you go? [00:30:20] Speaker A: Just don't lose Micah Parsons and and try and get Jerry to step down and get out and stop being involved in the process. That's probably the best win you can get. [00:30:30] Speaker D: And okay, those two things won't happen. [00:30:32] Speaker C: In the draft for sure. [00:30:34] Speaker D: So assume Jerry's gonna be there just because you're. You're hoping too much there. You gotta be. You gotta be real. [00:30:40] Speaker A: It could happen. [00:30:41] Speaker D: It's not going to happen. So you got to be realistic. [00:30:43] Speaker C: Dak on a big contract. CD on a big contract. [00:30:46] Speaker D: I think they are in a position. [00:30:48] Speaker A: Where the Lions just paid all their big expensive players this off season. The Cowboys should be able to figure something out too. Right? [00:30:55] Speaker D: You'd think. I mean they're certainly regretting. [00:30:58] Speaker A: There was the same question I asked the same questions last season like this might be as this might be tough for the Lions because this they're going to need to pay Penny Stu and I'm going to say Brown and Jared Goff. These are all the most expensive positions you have and they're just about to have to pay Aiden Hutchinson. And those are all. Those are the four most expensive positions. Those are the four expensive ones. They cost the most money. Those four positions. Quarterback, left tackle, wide receiver and edge. And if the Lions I thought there's no way they can do this. There's no way you can pay top of the market to all of the top positions and still do better than the previous season. It's. It's incredible what we're talking about the line which we've transitioned to talking about the lines. But it's amazing and it, but it shows that they rewarded this can be done this it's. It's not like. [00:31:49] Speaker C: But I think that the Cowboys didn't do it when they should have. [00:31:53] Speaker A: No. [00:31:53] Speaker C: They waited until they bundled the whole thing. [00:31:55] Speaker A: They've mismanaged the whole process very clearly. But they're there. It's like a two sides of the coin or something like that. But they're. I think they're like reverse mirror of each other. But the Lions prove that you can manage this properly and still pay your people. [00:32:10] Speaker C: Let's transition to the Lions for A sec. Tim DeWitt writes in how it's going to be a trap game against the Colts. Classic Lions jargon But he also in the same breath says, who's the best team, Lions or Bills? I love the two sides of that coin right there. Here's a stat for the Lions right here. Okay. I saw this yesterday and got such a kick out of it right now. Jameer Gibbs, David Robinson or David Montgomery and Ahmad R.A. st. Brown all scored touchdowns in the same game for the eighth time. That's the most ever for a trio in NFL history. They've played 25 games together. [00:32:46] Speaker A: It's incredible. [00:32:47] Speaker D: These the Lions offenses. Holy. It's like greatest show on turf. Reborn. [00:32:54] Speaker C: One of my friend's co workers hit a parlay and won $35,000 on the Lions on Sunday. [00:33:00] Speaker D: Wow. [00:33:00] Speaker A: Holy cow. [00:33:03] Speaker D: That's a lot of money. Yeah, 35,000, not 30 500,000. [00:33:08] Speaker C: That's after taxes. [00:33:10] Speaker D: How much? [00:33:10] Speaker C: So they hit like $52,000 on it. They put a $30 bet. Isn't that nuts? [00:33:17] Speaker A: Yeah, that's great. [00:33:18] Speaker C: That's life changing. [00:33:19] Speaker D: That's like a life changing bet right there. [00:33:21] Speaker C: But to go back to Lions and Tim talks about how they're both. It's. They're going to lose to the Colts who can't throw a pass forward. [00:33:27] Speaker D: Said he's going to lose to the. [00:33:28] Speaker C: It's a trap game. That's saying every. [00:33:31] Speaker D: Honestly, this is. So you're giving flack to a guy. You're giving flack to a guy who's. [00:33:37] Speaker A: Literally flack out to a guy. [00:33:38] Speaker D: Yeah. You're giving Flacco to a guy that has literally only had. This is realistically the best team he has ever watched for the Lions, like historically, this is the best team that they have ever had. We are literally. There's numbers to prove. [00:33:57] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:33:58] Speaker D: That this is the best Lions team. And so what? That shouldn't be a shock. This. It's the same reason why I. When I see the Lions sitting at the top and people are talking about the Lions is like, are they the best team in football? I'm like, but the Eagles, I mean, they're pretty good too, right? And I'm like. And I'm like, and the Bills, like, why is no one talking about the Bills? [00:34:20] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:20] Speaker D: Like I still even have a hard time putting them in that conversation. Not because they don't deserve to be there, but just the history of Alliance Fan. That is what has been ingrained in us. We're not used to this very much. We're very much not used to this. So that. And it. I even look at this game and I'm like, this is. This is a Game that, you know, you. You don't just write it off anymore. But what I noticed about the Lions this year and even last year, they are not writing off a team. They're going into every single game looking for blood. And they will slaughter the out of you if you're not ready. [00:34:58] Speaker A: Right. [00:34:59] Speaker D: They are. I didn't even realize this. Six out of their nine wins have come against teams that are. 500 or better. [00:35:07] Speaker A: Really? [00:35:08] Speaker D: Right now. [00:35:09] Speaker A: Wow. [00:35:10] Speaker D: Six. [00:35:10] Speaker C: That's impressive. [00:35:11] Speaker A: I did not realize that. I'm thinking that's what their record is. [00:35:14] Speaker D: That's what their record is right now. Right. So they beat the. [00:35:18] Speaker C: Which I think is how we should be grading things when people say they beat these top 25 teams and then they're not at the end of the year. Yeah, they're not the top 25 team. [00:35:26] Speaker D: So where they are right now, they have beaten the Rams, which are sitting at.500. They've beaten the Cardinals. [00:35:32] Speaker A: Cardinals. [00:35:33] Speaker D: Cardinals. They beat the Texans. They've beaten packers and the Vikings. [00:35:38] Speaker A: Okay. [00:35:39] Speaker D: Those are all six teams that are. 500 or better. And then they slaughtered the. Out of three teams that are trash teams. [00:35:47] Speaker A: Dallas, Tennessee and Jaguars. [00:35:50] Speaker D: So three bad teams. They didn't just do what Minnesota did. They didn't just coast by and barely eke out a win because your quarterback. [00:35:58] Speaker C: Sucks against the Titans. [00:35:59] Speaker D: They beat the out of these teams. [00:36:04] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:36:05] Speaker D: I just want to reiterate. [00:36:07] Speaker C: It's reiterated. [00:36:08] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:36:09] Speaker D: And then they lost. Obviously they lost to Tampa, which at that point in time, they were much healthier. I actually think we're still going to see Tampa win the division, by the way, down there. Because I'm not convinced that the Falcons are ready. They don't look ready to me. [00:36:24] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. [00:36:25] Speaker D: So all this to say this Lions team is definitely the real deal. The real effing deal. [00:36:32] Speaker C: Now you say effing. All right, so I like it personally. And Elliot has the tailwrites in. A little side note. Penny Sewell needs to be acknowledged for NFL mvp. Dude, nothing would do me better than to have an offensive win an mvp. [00:36:46] Speaker D: He needs to be able to be accredited for like half a point, at least for some of those touchdowns. There was a touchdown with Montgomery. Montgomery looked like he was maybe about to get there. Panet just comes in and Rams him. [00:37:01] Speaker C: I actually am curious how many touchdowns those running backs have had where no one. No, not just where no one touches them. Not like where no one is touching him. That's impressive to me there. [00:37:14] Speaker D: That O line I. There is. It is funny. He says the Bills Are Lions. We're going to find out. That is a game that is going to actively happen. That is a potential super bowl matchup right there. [00:37:29] Speaker C: You calling it? Nah, don't do that. Yeah, we got. It's Indiana, Indianapolis this week because they. [00:37:35] Speaker D: Can still lose in the playoffs and I could be crushed. [00:37:38] Speaker C: We talked about Bills. Jamie also writes in. Jamie also writes in. Chiefs lose their first game. Game. It's about the time of the year people write them off. Do you still like KC to come out of the AFC or can the Bills sustain this without a run game against good defenses? [00:37:56] Speaker D: Good questions. [00:37:57] Speaker C: Because I do think that the Chiefs had an off game in terms of defense. It wasn't their best game overall. Yeah, it's a good time to lose, in my opinion. And I think that the Chiefs. This is a yearly thing. This is a yearly time where people are going to say Mahomes isn't the best quarterback. They're not the best this year. I heard somebody say this happens every year. Usually it's Josh Allen, then Lamar. This year it's Lamar and then Josh Allen. [00:38:24] Speaker D: Yeah. So do you guys know who Tom. [00:38:29] Speaker A: Tom. [00:38:30] Speaker D: Tom Grossy is? [00:38:31] Speaker C: No. [00:38:32] Speaker D: You should know him. [00:38:34] Speaker A: Really? [00:38:34] Speaker D: He's a huge Packers YouTube channel. [00:38:36] Speaker A: Oh, okay. [00:38:37] Speaker D: And he won like fan of the year last year. [00:38:39] Speaker A: Oh, cool. [00:38:40] Speaker D: But he's got a YouTube channel and he does these videos of like if the NFL were scripted. It's kind of. They're kind of funny. But he talked about like everyone's reactions to the. Is every fan's reaction to the Chiefs losing. And it was. It kept coming back to the Chiefs and they're like, this happens every year, guys. What are you doing? We're. This is the preseason for us. Yeah, he's right in the fact of like you just. Kansas City is a different animal when they get to the playoffs. [00:39:13] Speaker C: They're a team I need to see proven wrong in the playoffs. And I hate saying that because it's. That's the lazy take. [00:39:18] Speaker D: They just have time and time again proven that they are just. [00:39:22] Speaker C: It's the Brady argument everyone threw at my face. So, yeah, we have a couple questions and then I want to get to a special few questions from Abigail Mauer, one of our favorite listeners, Eric Giannunzio writes in here. We got two off season questions that are going to hit you right here. Okay. One from last off season, one from this upcoming Eric Gianunzio, if you were the Bears and you got to draft all over again tonight, would you still take Caleb Williams? His accuracy seems to be a Problem and Daniels and even Bo Nicks looks legit, like legit NFL quarterbacks. What would you do? [00:40:00] Speaker A: Honestly? [00:40:01] Speaker D: I'd still draft him. [00:40:01] Speaker A: I still draft him. [00:40:02] Speaker D: Yeah. I don't think. I don't think Caleb Williams is the problem over there. [00:40:06] Speaker C: So do you think if Caleb Williams went to the Washington Commanders they would be better actually because you're saying that he's better than. [00:40:16] Speaker D: The difference here is that one Bo Nicks is more experienced because clearly he's. [00:40:23] Speaker C: Just been solder than half of the team quarterbacks that have been in there for five years. [00:40:27] Speaker A: Caleb is the youngest of those. The player of those quarterbacks phonex is. [00:40:31] Speaker D: Honestly, he is. He is. He's. What's the fucking word? [00:40:37] Speaker C: Tenured? [00:40:38] Speaker D: Well, no, he's benefiting. He's benefiting from the fact that he stayed in college longer and he gained more experience. [00:40:44] Speaker C: So Jaden Daniels played at Arizona State. He has more torn ACLs than like Ray, than like Frank Gore. [00:40:52] Speaker A: Right. [00:40:52] Speaker D: So you're talking about the two guys who are. If anything, you're proving the point because you're talking about the two guys that are literally competing for rookie of the Year right now. [00:41:00] Speaker C: Yeah, but not always. Does being an experienced rookie being drafted matter? [00:41:06] Speaker D: True. [00:41:07] Speaker C: Michael Penix would be drafted very highly then because he was in Indiana and then in Washington and now he's a backup in Kirk Cousins. [00:41:14] Speaker A: What is your point? You're saying you would draft a different quarterback? [00:41:16] Speaker C: I'm just saying that number one, I would. I wouldn't be opposed to it, Jane. I mean maybe K.M. williams. [00:41:22] Speaker A: Jaden Daniels is a defensible choice and I think anybody who thinks like, oh if I could go back, I'd pick Jaden Daniels. I think fair. Fair. He's performed incredibly well. He seems to have immense talent and I think he's going to be a star in the league for many years to come. But I also actually think that about Caleb Williams. I think he needs a little more time to develop. I think his team around him has disappointed him. But you watch the tape, I think Caleb actually is processing really well. [00:41:46] Speaker C: Bigger than that though, I think it's the ownership, I think it's the gm. They're incompetent on levels and levels and levels Washington got rid of. That's why they are in a different spot. [00:41:54] Speaker D: I said this at the beginning of the year that the Bears should have fired Eber flu regardless that when you he drafted this quarterback and I knew that they were going to do one of two things. They were probably going to fuck it up. Sorry. They Were going to screw it up. I'm just really. [00:42:14] Speaker C: You're hammering it today. [00:42:15] Speaker D: Passionate tonight. [00:42:16] Speaker C: I don't mind it. [00:42:17] Speaker D: They were going to screw it up because the what bailed him out was his defensive performance last year, not their offensive performance. The offense was sluggish and slow and even. Just because you got some shiny new toys. [00:42:32] Speaker C: It's because he got a beard. Let's be fair. It's because he got a beard. I know. So to be fair. Sorry, guys, I missed a little late there. Our next question comes in from Justin Matson. Justin Matson writes which NFL head coaching job in question are the most attractive for candidates next season. Guys, he picked three on here. [00:42:56] Speaker A: I like this question. [00:42:57] Speaker C: Dallas, Cleveland, Chicago. I'm going to let you each pick one and on the count of three, you're just going to say it. [00:43:04] Speaker A: It's got to be from those three. [00:43:05] Speaker C: Of those three, Dallas, Cleveland and Chicago. And he has a clause on here that there's no Deshaun Cleveland. [00:43:12] Speaker D: Okay, fair. [00:43:13] Speaker C: One, two, three. [00:43:15] Speaker A: Chicago. [00:43:16] Speaker C: I think it's a no brainer answer. We just talked about Chicago. If you had to pick between Dallas and Cleveland, which would be the worst? [00:43:24] Speaker D: Cleveland. [00:43:28] Speaker C: Correct. That's why I was going to have you almost count on that one. And I think the fact that we need to wonder about what that is, that's a big issue because they're in both very different sides of the pendulum of what could be. [00:43:42] Speaker A: I'll give you. I'll give you a case. Cleveland for Dallas. [00:43:45] Speaker D: Okay. [00:43:47] Speaker A: Jerry Jones does not fire his coaches. I like it. He will give you a long Runway. Jason. Gary got nine years. How many seasons have we been saying Mike McCarthy should have been fired already? Jerry likes a specific type of guy that he can influence that he can hang out with that he feels comfortable with. And he will give them an extraordinarily long leash. [00:44:12] Speaker C: Okay, Ian, Why should they pick Cleveland? [00:44:15] Speaker D: I'll give you two reasons. Nick Chubb, Miles Garrett, something. [00:44:20] Speaker C: I like it. All right, we have a few questions from Abigail Mauer. Can you read these off for us here, Kyle? [00:44:26] Speaker A: Abigail first asks how can wide receivers run so fast? Anybody have an answer? [00:44:35] Speaker D: They eat their Wheaties. [00:44:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:44:37] Speaker C: Yep. [00:44:38] Speaker D: They had their veggies. Their green beans. They're delicious. Abigail. [00:44:43] Speaker A: Oh, my gosh. [00:44:43] Speaker C: Don't say that to Abigail. We need this to be a spot where she can listen to it. [00:44:47] Speaker D: Abigail, you were never gonna let her listen to this, were you? [00:44:51] Speaker A: Maybe not anymore. [00:44:53] Speaker C: Not anymore. [00:44:53] Speaker A: She's seven years old. [00:44:55] Speaker C: Abigail. I think that they do. They run fast because they train really hard. [00:44:59] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:45:00] Speaker C: And like when they have, like, you go to dance recitals, you know, they have football practice and they go to practice really hard and they practice their plays and just like, you should practice your recitals. [00:45:10] Speaker A: Yeah. Oh, yeah, that's right. It's practice. [00:45:11] Speaker C: Okay, next one. [00:45:12] Speaker D: Cop out answer over there. [00:45:14] Speaker A: Abigail says, I'll ask this question first. What is that thing where the quarterback claps his hand and the other guy passes him the ball between his legs? What's that? [00:45:25] Speaker C: That's called a hike, sweetheart. [00:45:26] Speaker A: A hike. [00:45:27] Speaker C: That's when they hike the ball. [00:45:29] Speaker D: Hut, hut. Pizza hut. [00:45:30] Speaker A: I told her it was the snap. [00:45:32] Speaker C: That too. [00:45:33] Speaker D: I mean, it's. [00:45:33] Speaker C: Yeah, same thing. [00:45:35] Speaker D: It's the cadence. [00:45:36] Speaker A: Yeah. We could. We could have like, really football newbies tuning into the show, too. So now and then, if they're 45. [00:45:42] Speaker C: Minutes into the pod and don't know what the snap is, we have an issue. [00:45:46] Speaker A: No, we support them. We support these listeners. Blue, blue 42. Last question says, I think the packers will win the super bowl this year. [00:46:01] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:46:02] Speaker D: Kyle, how do you feel? [00:46:03] Speaker A: We already know a little stressed about it, but I wouldn't be upset about that. [00:46:09] Speaker D: So there was a Peter Schrager from Good Morning Football. [00:46:13] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:13] Speaker D: He talked about how he has accurately picked the super bowl matchup for the last four seasons. [00:46:19] Speaker A: Whoa. [00:46:20] Speaker D: Guess what team he picked. [00:46:21] Speaker A: The Packers. [00:46:22] Speaker D: The Packers. [00:46:24] Speaker A: Against who? [00:46:25] Speaker D: I can't remember who he picked it. [00:46:26] Speaker A: Okay. [00:46:27] Speaker D: But he did just mention the Packers. [00:46:29] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:46:29] Speaker D: So it was. [00:46:30] Speaker A: A lot of people came into this season pretty high on the Packers. [00:46:33] Speaker D: It's because they ended so positively last year. [00:46:36] Speaker C: Except for the last game where they got their kicked in by the Lions. Oh, I thought you were going to not take it personally. [00:46:43] Speaker A: I'm not taking it personally. [00:46:44] Speaker D: Okay. All right. We got some real quick. Just some big news just to kind of rifle through here, really. Only three major things happened. Daniel Jones is out and Tommy DeVito. Tommy DeVito. [00:46:56] Speaker C: He's back. He's back. [00:46:58] Speaker D: This is what a. By the way, how much did Daniel Jones just get paid? [00:47:02] Speaker A: I thought it was 40 mil a year. [00:47:04] Speaker D: That's a lot of money for how many years? [00:47:07] Speaker A: I don't remember. [00:47:08] Speaker D: More than too long. Too long. [00:47:10] Speaker A: Yeah. Yeah. [00:47:11] Speaker D: What a waste. At least they have the stones to admit that they were wrong and are willing to just bite the bullet and move on. I can commend that at least. [00:47:23] Speaker A: Right. [00:47:23] Speaker D: I think that's fair for them. [00:47:25] Speaker A: I respect that. [00:47:26] Speaker D: The Jaguars haven't fired their head coach and or GM yet. [00:47:30] Speaker A: So he's still got a job. [00:47:33] Speaker D: I don't quite understand considering they were both on the hot seat before the Lions game and then they have the worst loss in franchise history. [00:47:43] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:47:44] Speaker D: And they're still employed. [00:47:48] Speaker A: It's very clear shot Khan is going to wait to the end of the season for some reason with Doug Peterson, although he didn't wither re Meyer. [00:47:55] Speaker D: Yeah. Well, I think they should at least take a page out of the jets book and fire their GM because that's what the justice did too. [00:48:01] Speaker A: Oh, the jets fired their gm. They fired their head coach. [00:48:05] Speaker D: Jets are a hot mess. [00:48:06] Speaker A: They changed their OC this next. What's left to change, boys? [00:48:11] Speaker D: Quarterback maybe? [00:48:13] Speaker C: No, it can't be that. [00:48:17] Speaker D: Not playing good. [00:48:18] Speaker C: What's our last thing? [00:48:19] Speaker D: Well, that was last. [00:48:20] Speaker C: Oh, the gm. [00:48:21] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:48:22] Speaker C: Let's go to our weekly. [00:48:24] Speaker D: Well, we did talk just like some final things we did. We talked about last week, like what did we learn, what we were going to learn. [00:48:31] Speaker C: What did you learn? [00:48:32] Speaker D: I don't have to read through everything because we kind of talked about some of the stuff already, so I don't need to revisit it. But I was curious on the Chargers. Your guys take on the Chargers before we move on. [00:48:46] Speaker C: I think that's a clear example of when you have a good head coach. [00:48:49] Speaker A: Hmm. Okay. Yeah, I think they're a pretty dangerous team. I think they're a little under the radar this late in the season. We have. We have spent almost no talking time talking about the Chargers up until like last week or this week. I don't know that we hardly brought him up even once. Kind of interesting. [00:49:07] Speaker C: We'll talk about them next week. Listeners, get ready. I'm bringing in a charger. [00:49:10] Speaker D: There's a reason why we're going to talk about them anyways because there's a big reason why. [00:49:14] Speaker A: Yeah, there's a. [00:49:16] Speaker D: We'll get to it later. But there's a pretty big game going on this weekend. [00:49:20] Speaker C: Our segment. Kyle, let's hear your weekly segment. It's all about the stats. We're in the sheets. Let's hear it. [00:49:27] Speaker A: This one I got an inspiration to do something a little bit slightly different. Play more of a game with you guys. [00:49:33] Speaker D: I love games. [00:49:35] Speaker A: This one I dubbed Listery order. Like a mystery list. Listery. Anyway, this is essentially a game you guys gotta get your brains and listening ears ready where I'm gonna recite a list of teams and I'm gonna name, say them in order and I can keep going as long as necessary. But you two are going to compete against each other and try and guess what I am ordering these teams by. [00:50:04] Speaker D: Ooh. [00:50:05] Speaker C: Okay. [00:50:05] Speaker A: Okay. [00:50:05] Speaker D: I kind of like this. [00:50:07] Speaker A: Okay, so I'll give you a warm up. One that's kind of easy. Just so you get the idea. Okay, we'll start with this. 49ers, chokers. Bears, Bengals, Bills, Broncos, Browns. [00:50:24] Speaker D: Starts with Bs. Alphabet. [00:50:25] Speaker A: Alphabetical order. Thank you. Okay, so now you get the idea. I start listing off teams and you tell me what I'm ordering them by. That one was alphabetical order. Let's try some more challenging numbers. All right, let's start with how were. [00:50:47] Speaker D: The 49ers first there. [00:50:48] Speaker A: I went with the number. [00:50:51] Speaker D: Just like, replaying it in my head. Okay. [00:50:53] Speaker A: All right, let me sort this. [00:50:57] Speaker C: Everyone knows 49ers is an F. Okay. [00:51:00] Speaker A: Abigail, here's another list. Lions, Browns. [00:51:06] Speaker C: Longest drought without winning a Super Bowl. [00:51:09] Speaker A: Bears. [00:51:10] Speaker C: Most losses. [00:51:11] Speaker A: Colt. Bengals. [00:51:14] Speaker D: These are animals. [00:51:15] Speaker A: Steelers. [00:51:16] Speaker D: Okay, they're no longer animals. [00:51:17] Speaker C: Bills. Hold on. Started over again. [00:51:20] Speaker A: Lions, Browns, Bears. [00:51:25] Speaker C: Cold. Longest losing streak. [00:51:27] Speaker A: Bengals. [00:51:28] Speaker D: Longest winning streak. [00:51:29] Speaker A: Steelers, Bills, Packers. Titans. Commanders. Do you want me to start over? [00:51:39] Speaker C: Yes. [00:51:40] Speaker A: Lions, Browns, Bears, Colts, Bengals. [00:51:47] Speaker C: Oh. [00:51:48] Speaker D: Oh. Distance from us. Yes. [00:51:51] Speaker A: You got it. Good one. Good one. Ian's got a couple. Okay, let's sort this column. [00:52:03] Speaker D: That was fun. I liked that one. [00:52:05] Speaker A: Okay. Steelers, patriots, cowboys. [00:52:12] Speaker D: Defenses, 49. Oh. Number of super bowl wins. [00:52:14] Speaker A: You got it. Ian is up 3 on this one. [00:52:19] Speaker D: Suck it, Marshall. [00:52:21] Speaker A: Okay. [00:52:24] Speaker D: You don't even know why you're pressing that anymore. [00:52:26] Speaker A: Okay? I mix. I'm mixing this up. I'm gonna come at you with some challenging ones. Okay, think hard about the situation these teams are in. Jets, Steelers, Rams, Falcons, Seahawks. [00:52:43] Speaker C: You need to go slower. [00:52:44] Speaker A: Okay, we start with the jets, then it's Steelers, Rams, Falcons, Seahawks. Saint. Cowboys. [00:52:58] Speaker D: How long they've had their owners? [00:53:00] Speaker A: It's a fair guess. No, how long they've had the same. [00:53:03] Speaker D: No, it can't be the jams because Jess has got fart. [00:53:08] Speaker A: We start with the Jets. [00:53:09] Speaker D: Sorry. [00:53:09] Speaker A: For the F. Then the Steelers. And Rams. And Falcons. Seahawks, Saints. [00:53:16] Speaker C: I don't even have a guess. [00:53:17] Speaker A: Not even a guess. Not even a guess. [00:53:20] Speaker C: Longest time that they've had their quarterback. [00:53:28] Speaker A: Okay, yeah, well, it's not the Jets. Something else. I'll give you it's something else about the quarterback. It's about the quarterback. [00:53:34] Speaker D: How old are quarterback. [00:53:35] Speaker A: Yes. Quarterback age. [00:53:36] Speaker C: I hate you. [00:53:37] Speaker A: He ends up four. [00:53:39] Speaker D: Oh, that's a three and a half. That was an assist. [00:53:42] Speaker A: Good one. Okay, Marshall's got the half a point. [00:53:44] Speaker D: Then, because I would not have been able to figure that out unless you. [00:53:48] Speaker C: Got still down three. [00:53:50] Speaker A: Yeah. You're still. You're still down three. Okay. We're gonna. We're talking about present moment that will give you a hint that this is about season 2024 to date. [00:54:01] Speaker C: Lions most points. [00:54:05] Speaker D: Like point scored. Joel. [00:54:06] Speaker A: Point differential is correct. [00:54:08] Speaker C: Half. That's a half after a 1. [00:54:10] Speaker D: 3. [00:54:11] Speaker C: 1 team. [00:54:12] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. Nicely. You didn't even let me get to the next team. [00:54:16] Speaker C: Four to one. [00:54:17] Speaker A: Lions point differential. Correct. [00:54:18] Speaker C: Who's the second one? [00:54:19] Speaker A: Correct. Correct. Bills are next and Eagles are third and Chargers are fourth. [00:54:23] Speaker C: Eagles are pretty good. [00:54:25] Speaker D: You don't. You don't like the Eagles? I hate them. You don't like their coach. [00:54:32] Speaker C: Yeah, you're right. [00:54:33] Speaker D: I think they're. I think they're okay. We don't have to get into that. [00:54:37] Speaker A: Here's one. Here's one. Think about this. This is not a 2024 season specific list. Cowboys, Rams, Patriots, Giants, Jets. [00:54:53] Speaker C: Hold on. Do it again. [00:54:55] Speaker A: Cowboys, Rams, Patriots, Giants. [00:55:01] Speaker C: Most regular season wins. [00:55:03] Speaker A: Nope. [00:55:05] Speaker C: Do it again. [00:55:06] Speaker A: Cowboys, Rams, Patriots, Giants. [00:55:11] Speaker C: Highest salary. No, no, that'd be the Saints. They're always the first. [00:55:16] Speaker A: Niners, Raiders, Eagles, Bears. [00:55:18] Speaker C: Give us a hint. [00:55:21] Speaker A: Cowboys are a special franchise. [00:55:26] Speaker C: Oh. Highest value. [00:55:28] Speaker A: Highest value. This list. Second highest value to franchise. [00:55:34] Speaker C: New. New stadium. [00:55:35] Speaker A: Patriots are third. [00:55:36] Speaker D: And then they have barely a fan base either. [00:55:39] Speaker C: So I could say the same thing about every other team that's been in la. That's worth a lot. But that isn't the Lakers. [00:55:45] Speaker A: Big market. [00:55:45] Speaker D: I never would have got that one. [00:55:47] Speaker C: Okay. [00:55:47] Speaker A: Never would have got that one. The Cowboys are famously like the most. [00:55:50] Speaker D: I knew they were. I knew they were the most valuable, but the Rams was throwing me off. [00:55:54] Speaker A: Who would you have guessed was the second most valuable team? [00:55:58] Speaker C: I'm stunned. The Patriots were that high. [00:56:00] Speaker A: They're the third most. [00:56:01] Speaker D: Patriots are chief. [00:56:02] Speaker A: And then the two New York teams and then the Niners. [00:56:04] Speaker D: Yeah. Patriots. Doesn't surprise me because of how long they had been good for. As long as they were. [00:56:10] Speaker A: What's. What's interesting on this one is the reverse order. [00:56:15] Speaker C: Oh, let's hear it. [00:56:16] Speaker A: The least valuable franchise and I should have held off. The Cowboys are valued at $10.1 billion. Sheesh. Which is a staggering number. Half of what DAC is the runner up. Rams have been valued at 7.6. [00:56:32] Speaker D: It's like a $3 billion. [00:56:34] Speaker A: That's a big difference. And then all other teams, basically, I would like. As the list goes down, it drops by like a hundred million. So it goes to 7.6 to 7.4 to 7.3 to 6.9 et cetera. They're all fairly similarly valued. The Cowboys really stand out in this one category. But the bottom of the list, the least valuable franchise at 4.1 billion actually is tied with the runner up. Both valued an estimated $4.1 billion. Bengals and lions. [00:57:11] Speaker D: My poor boys. Lions have been historically bad for a long time. [00:57:16] Speaker A: They are not a valuable franchise relative to the other teams in the league. [00:57:21] Speaker D: Yeah. And their market is not as large as some of the other ones as well. So that doesn't surprise me that much. I would have probably put them pretty low. Jaguars, I thought, would have been low. Like would have been my guess. [00:57:34] Speaker A: Their estimation is 4.6 billion. So they're pretty close. Half a bill more. [00:57:40] Speaker C: That's so far away though. [00:57:41] Speaker A: It's a lot of money. [00:57:43] Speaker C: I mean, $35,000 life changing when you're. [00:57:46] Speaker D: Already talking about billions of dollars like a bill. Moore is not Bill. [00:57:53] Speaker C: Give us our next list. [00:57:55] Speaker A: Okay. All right. All right, let's. Let's try this one. I'm gonna go starting at the top. We've got Patriots, Broncos, vice. [00:58:11] Speaker C: Super bowl wins. [00:58:12] Speaker D: No, we already did that. [00:58:13] Speaker A: Super bowl wins. Okay. Patriots, Broncos, Vikings, Bills. [00:58:22] Speaker D: Most regular season wins. [00:58:24] Speaker A: No. [00:58:24] Speaker D: Most playoff wins. [00:58:25] Speaker A: No. Cowboys, Rams. [00:58:29] Speaker D: All right, go back to the top. [00:58:31] Speaker A: Patriots at the top. Broncos, Vikings, Bills. [00:58:37] Speaker C: Least amount of quarterbacks. No. [00:58:40] Speaker A: These are cute. I'll even tell you the number. Patriots, 5. [00:58:45] Speaker D: Coaches. [00:58:46] Speaker A: Head coaches, 5. Vikings, owners, 4. Bills, 4. Cowboys. [00:58:52] Speaker D: Playoff appearances, 3. No Super bowl appearances. [00:58:55] Speaker B: No. [00:58:56] Speaker A: You're on the right track. [00:58:58] Speaker D: Super bowl losses. [00:58:59] Speaker A: Yes. Ian's good at this game. [00:59:01] Speaker C: He is five and two. [00:59:06] Speaker A: Okay, I've got another one here. It might be the last. It might be the last. Okay, let's do. Starting with. This is a 2024 stat. Chargers are number one defenses. More specifically, rushing defense, Passing defense. [00:59:34] Speaker C: Defensive defense. [00:59:36] Speaker A: Overall, Steelers. It's a simple set. [00:59:40] Speaker C: They're the best points allowed. [00:59:43] Speaker A: It is yards against. [00:59:44] Speaker D: Okay. [00:59:44] Speaker A: Points against. [00:59:45] Speaker D: We get. That's half point. Because I knew this was defense right away. I gave you fucking two. Half a point. [00:59:50] Speaker C: Stop swearing. [00:59:50] Speaker D: I mean, I'm going to swear at you. [00:59:52] Speaker A: Okay. [00:59:53] Speaker C: You're very good. I like a swear. But you're very aggressive at them today. It's throwing me off. You didn't swear for the first season and a half. And then it's like I just heard an F bomb from you today that was louder than Dane Cook's F bombs and vicious circles. [01:00:07] Speaker D: I was feeling spicy. [01:00:08] Speaker C: I love it, but it just threw me off. [01:00:10] Speaker A: Nicely done. [01:00:11] Speaker C: That's a point for me. [01:00:12] Speaker A: Okay. I don't want to make this any longer. I think it's fun. You guys did actually really well. I'm quite impressed. I don't have any more. [01:00:21] Speaker C: That was a good. That was a. It's a good segment when I want more. [01:00:24] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:00:24] Speaker C: Thank you. Thank you. [01:00:27] Speaker A: Good job, all of you, especially Ian. Congratulations on your win. [01:00:32] Speaker D: I'll do my own clapping. [01:00:33] Speaker C: Good. That's the only claps you're getting. Let's hear a fantasy update today, guys. Ian had some news he needed to share with us about his update. [01:00:41] Speaker D: Some people already know I broke a record in our fantasy league. I have the highest. I have the highest points scored so far this season at 180. That's almost a lot of points. That's a lot of 10 more points than the next close person. [01:00:59] Speaker A: Hey, I got a victory. Look at that. [01:01:02] Speaker D: I won. I'm five and six. [01:01:04] Speaker C: You had the most points scored and you won. [01:01:07] Speaker D: Yeah. Shut up, dude. Get out of here. You're not even in the league. [01:01:12] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:01:13] Speaker D: You don't want to do it. So you don't get to talk. [01:01:14] Speaker A: Look at that. So, yeah, you and I are probably not going to make the playoffs either. [01:01:18] Speaker D: Oh, no. Well, you're. If the playoffs started today, you would be in. I'm eighth in the league, but you would be in. [01:01:25] Speaker A: Dang. [01:01:26] Speaker D: I'm right behind you. And that's because you beat me. You have the head to head right now. [01:01:30] Speaker A: Oh, nice. Okay. [01:01:31] Speaker D: So if my team plays like that all season, you know, I also have. [01:01:36] Speaker A: More total points than you over the course of the season. Barely by like five points. [01:01:40] Speaker D: Yeah, like barely. I was pretty sure it was not by much. [01:01:44] Speaker A: It's so funny. We're such a good match. [01:01:45] Speaker D: I know. But it's mostly my. The biggest problem that I have had was I've had injuries. [01:01:53] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:01:53] Speaker D: And I have Puka back who got me 25 points. St. Brown with 38 points. Taysom Hill, 42 points. It had a tight end. [01:02:04] Speaker A: He is one of the greatest football players of all time, is he not? [01:02:09] Speaker D: What a guy. What a guy. [01:02:12] Speaker A: Just like he will go down in history. [01:02:15] Speaker D: I love that. I got him off of waivers. [01:02:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:02:18] Speaker D: Because I needed a tight end and I was like, well, Taysom Hill is kind of one of those weird guys. You sometimes get a lot of points out of him. And he's been doing pretty good this year. [01:02:25] Speaker A: That's cool. [01:02:26] Speaker D: So I'm kind of excited to have him. I gotta take Kirk Cousins out, though. [01:02:30] Speaker A: Yeah. [01:02:31] Speaker D: He's been. He's been bad. [01:02:32] Speaker A: Well, put him in. He. [01:02:34] Speaker D: This is why Bench him next week anyways. They're on a buy. [01:02:37] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. So Kirk has been abysmal against good defenses and electric against bad defenses and very consistently this season. It's. It's why, it's why I double checked my picks and said, holy crap, wait a second, I need to switch my picks so that Denver to Denver over the Falcons, which was. I was vindicated in that choice. [01:03:03] Speaker C: That was a good choice. [01:03:05] Speaker D: Yeah, it's a good choice. [01:03:06] Speaker C: Let's talk about our must watch game of the week. By the way, did Marco win this week? [01:03:10] Speaker A: I don't know. [01:03:11] Speaker D: He did win. He did. [01:03:12] Speaker C: Damn it. Okay. Must watch game of the week. [01:03:15] Speaker D: I have. So I didn't do a must not watch. I didn't feel like there was any games that were so atrocious that you wouldn't really want to watch. So I was like, yeah, just, you know, you can watch any of the new positive Ian. [01:03:28] Speaker C: Some might say, well, I don't know about that. [01:03:29] Speaker D: But most of the games are gonna have at least one team that you're probably gonna be interested to watch. So I think Most of the 1 o'clock games are gonna like all the games are reasonable. There are two games, both of which are more closer to the prime time slots. I chose these two teams or these two games because the four teams involved, all these two games have massive right now, massive potential playoff implications. San Francisco versus Green Bay, both of which, if San Fran wants to keep their season alive, they have to win. If they lose this, they're in real trouble of missing the playoffs because they're going to lose a head to head against the packers for a wild card slot. And they're playing. They're eventually going to have to play the Vikings and the Lions too. And those are not going to be easy outs for either of them or for. For the Niners. So I think they are kind of in a must win mode for the rest of the season. They know that. Adam Silver knows that. So I think this is kind of just a really good game to watch and I think they're two scrappy teams. I'll be curious to see how that game plays out. The other game. Ravens, Chargers. Dude, I think this is the game. [01:04:50] Speaker C: I would have laughed at that earlier this year. I would have laughed at you saying that. [01:04:55] Speaker D: So the Raven. I just find this game so interesting. [01:04:59] Speaker C: You're not wrong. I just. I. Earlier this year, I never would have said that. [01:05:03] Speaker D: Yeah. What makes this game interesting is that the Ravens offense, when it wants to be, is electric. Absolutely elite. So good. Lamar Jackson. I. First couple of his seasons, even when he was a unanimous mvp, I wasn't super high on him. The last two seasons, I've been pretty high on him. He's great. This dude's a stud. Best quarterback in the league. Second best. Kind of depends on where you want to put Josh Allen right now in the conversation, but I think those two are, I think, miles above everybody else. [01:05:38] Speaker A: Can I just say, I've become a Lamar fan, and you want to know why? [01:05:44] Speaker D: Because of my hatred for. Not hatred, but because I. [01:05:48] Speaker C: Your disdain. [01:05:49] Speaker D: My. I just thought he was always overhyped. [01:05:52] Speaker A: I think you had an important role to play in originally being one of the key voices I was confronted with. Create. Generating what felt like unnecessary criticisms to the point where I found myself having to defend him and actually starting to love him in the process. And then we have very particular listeners to this show we know we love dearly, who have also come back with some harsh takes against Lamar. And I've tended to feel like this guy's criticized a little unfairly and have become a huge defender of him. And now he's, like, my favorite player. [01:06:34] Speaker D: The biggest reason why he's won me over the last two seasons, though, compared to his first several. He's been throwing more and he's been getting accurate, and he is a better throw. And you might. [01:06:45] Speaker A: He has the league's best passer rating right now, 117. [01:06:49] Speaker D: Yeah. So. And I don't even think it's close right now. I think he's like. I think the next person closest to him is, like, goth. [01:06:57] Speaker A: I think you're right. [01:06:58] Speaker D: I have to look. [01:06:59] Speaker A: It's. It's. It's not that close, but I don't think it's close. I was just casually reading the other day while Marshall was over visiting, and I was just on my phone just reading some articles just for fun. I was reading about Michael Vick a lot because he kind of comes up in, like, a Google search with a lot of autocomplete. Is Michael Vick versus Lamar Jackson. [01:07:21] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:07:21] Speaker A: And I'd be like, how do they stack up? [01:07:24] Speaker D: I mean, Lamar's got to be better now. [01:07:26] Speaker A: Lamar, I think he blows him away. [01:07:29] Speaker D: Yeah. I was gonna say he's got. [01:07:31] Speaker A: Michael Vick was the cheat code. Michael Vick was a phenomenal. He was incredible. Like, we hadn't seen anything like that when he came into the league. It was amazing. You guys remember, we were young. Michael Vick was nuts. [01:07:42] Speaker D: He was. He was the guy. [01:07:43] Speaker C: He was. [01:07:44] Speaker D: He was our Lamar back then. Like, how kids view Lamar now is how we viewed Vic then. [01:07:49] Speaker A: Exactly. And Lamar's numbers over the course of his career, like his baseline, are better than Michael Vick's. Best. Better than his best season. [01:08:00] Speaker D: That's, that's pretty impressive. [01:08:02] Speaker C: Not even Lamar's best season got an mvp. [01:08:05] Speaker D: All of that. All of that to say their offense is very good, especially with Henry on there. However, their defense is bottom third ranked 27. [01:08:18] Speaker A: Incredible regression. [01:08:20] Speaker D: Really bad. And that bit them in the ass against the Steelers. And when you get to the playoffs, it ain't going to get any. [01:08:27] Speaker C: Can I also say it didn't really bite them in the ass all that much when they didn't allow a touchdown. [01:08:35] Speaker A: That's fair. [01:08:35] Speaker D: True, true. I'll give you that. [01:08:37] Speaker C: And they lost when their hall of Fame now second greatest field goal percentage of all time kicker missed two kicks. [01:08:47] Speaker D: So fair. But that is. You are going to be going into the playoffs where you're going to be facing much better offenses though. [01:08:56] Speaker A: Sure. [01:08:56] Speaker D: And so I think that is going to be a danger zone for them like the Chargers. The Chargers have a good offense and the number one defense. And if they can clog down Baltimore, I think Baltimore is going to have a hard time. [01:09:10] Speaker C: It could be dangerous for him. But I have faith that player. You, you don't call plays, you call players. And I'm calling Lamar. [01:09:16] Speaker D: That. This is why. But this is why I'm super excited for this game. Because this could be a game to tell us a lot about both of these teams. [01:09:25] Speaker C: Instead of going in on our locks and upsets, we're just going to share them for the record sake of us making sure that we say them and you hold us accountable. Listeners. Our locks of the week. I got Washington over Dallas. [01:09:36] Speaker A: Kyle, my lock of the week. Let me find it. Oh frick. You put me on the spot. Texans over Titans. [01:09:43] Speaker C: Ian. [01:09:43] Speaker D: Chiefs over Panthers upset. [01:09:46] Speaker C: Pick of the week. Kyle, hit me with yours. [01:09:48] Speaker A: Patriots over Dolphins. Wow. A big Drake May game. I predict. [01:09:52] Speaker C: I like it. I like the boldness Ian. [01:09:56] Speaker D: I have on here Arizona over Seattle. [01:09:59] Speaker C: And I have San Fran over the Packers. [01:10:02] Speaker A: Nice. [01:10:02] Speaker D: But I also did pick the Chargers over Baltimore, but they're not my lot. They're not my upset. [01:10:08] Speaker C: So any other news we missed? [01:10:10] Speaker A: Guys, we covered a lot in this episode and I want to just thank any listeners who are still with us. [01:10:15] Speaker D: You guys are the real G's. Sorry for my swearing. [01:10:22] Speaker C: Want to thank you for listening to the. [01:10:24] Speaker D: I'm really fucking sorry. [01:10:25] Speaker C: Sending it to your family, your friends, for sending it to your fucking loved ones. I made a lot of awkward eye contact with him today, but I have a joke for you. And I'm gonna let the pod just run out, and at the very end, you'll hear the punchline. Guys, do you know how many people died on the Titanic? A boatload.
