[00:00:00] Speaker A: Welcome to the Point after show with [00:00:02] Speaker B: Kyle Maurer, Marshall heslaw and Ian DeWitt. [00:00:05] Speaker A: This is the show where the guys attempt to pick the winners of the [00:00:08] Speaker B: weekly NFL games along with some healthy [00:00:10] Speaker A: debate about current topics. [00:00:12] Speaker B: Let's go. [00:00:13] Speaker A: Let's go. Yep. [00:00:14] Speaker B: Hello. Hello, mother. [00:00:17] Speaker A: How are you? [00:00:18] Speaker C: I'm good. [00:00:19] Speaker B: Hello, father. Green eggs and ham do not bother these ticks. [00:00:24] Speaker A: Mosquitoes really bother. Can't wait to send you all my new friends. Thanks again for sending me canine advantage. [00:00:31] Speaker B: I think there's a problem there that you have that in your head. [00:00:35] Speaker A: I loved old, like, nostalgic, like videos like that. I have two of them that really came to mind. It's gonna be our question of the day. [00:00:44] Speaker C: Oh, is it? Oh, wow. [00:00:45] Speaker A: What is your favorite old school? So I'm gonna fill a buster, give you a little bit of time to think about it. Your favorite old school ad. I have two. [00:00:51] Speaker C: And man. [00:00:53] Speaker A: Yeah, like an advertisement you saw on TV as a kid. Like some of them when we were kids. They're a lot better. [00:00:58] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:00:59] Speaker A: Something about. [00:01:00] Speaker B: They were way funnier. [00:01:01] Speaker C: Totally agree. [00:01:01] Speaker A: Something about those. What are those big horses on the beard? Yeah, something when they were. When we were younger. Way better. [00:01:07] Speaker C: 100%. [00:01:09] Speaker A: I'm going to give you. Come on. [00:01:12] Speaker C: Come on. [00:01:12] Speaker A: I'm going to meet you guys. [00:01:14] Speaker C: Shout out. [00:01:15] Speaker A: Shout out to the three people that knew that. So my favorite two are the. What's up? That's like so classic. And then my favorite one of all time, it actually, I repressed it because of how much I used it in like day to day life. And I got made fun of for doing it. And then it recently came up, you know, I had some students tell me about this great commercial, Kmart. Ship my pants. [00:01:42] Speaker C: That's a good one, dude. [00:01:43] Speaker A: It's a great one. [00:01:46] Speaker B: There's. [00:01:47] Speaker A: Yeah. Have you seen this before? [00:01:49] Speaker B: I. It sounds. [00:01:50] Speaker A: I ship my pants, I ship my drawers, I ship my bed. [00:01:54] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:01:54] Speaker A: I just shipped my nightgown. [00:01:56] Speaker B: That reminds me of like the. The one commercial that I'm thinking of. They, they. It's before like cell phones and all this. So they have. I can't remember specifically what the ad [00:02:08] Speaker A: was even about, but that's how I like these ads. [00:02:11] Speaker B: The guys calling home on like a pay phone. Okay. And he's from. He's at the hospital and he's calling his parents and it's like a. Do you want to accept a call from. We at a baby. It's a boy. [00:02:26] Speaker A: Oh, he's doing like the collect call where you say that it's A boy. [00:02:30] Speaker B: It's his name. Like, they're saying, like, my name is. We add a baby. It's a boy. And then they're like, no, we don't want to accept it. And then they hang up. And he was like, it's John. They had a baby. It's a boy. [00:02:42] Speaker A: That's right. I have seen that before, actually. It's funny you say that. I talked to Justin Manson today. He told me that he used to call from a pay phone after football practice as a kid to call collect and say, practice is done, come pick me up. I just thought that was so cool. I was like, that's an amazing like. [00:03:00] Speaker B: And the only other commercial there's. They're more like, like ongoing, like phrases where it was Verizon's. Can you hear me now? [00:03:13] Speaker C: Oh, that's kind of a classic. [00:03:16] Speaker B: It was like a classic, like, can you hear me now? [00:03:17] Speaker C: And like, that's a good one. [00:03:19] Speaker B: And the Orbit Dirty mouth. Clean it up. [00:03:23] Speaker A: Ah. What about. Okay, I'll let Kyle throw his. [00:03:27] Speaker C: The Got Milk campaign came to mind. You were making me think of Got Milk. That was a big one. [00:03:33] Speaker B: That's your drink. [00:03:33] Speaker A: Thank you for drinking it. [00:03:35] Speaker C: Sorry. [00:03:35] Speaker A: Thank you. It wasn't milk. [00:03:37] Speaker C: I didn't know you were coming to me. Like, I didn't think I'd get. [00:03:39] Speaker A: Only two people answered and we had a third answer. [00:03:41] Speaker B: You were talking while you went. [00:03:44] Speaker A: While I'm. [00:03:45] Speaker C: I was drink committed at the time. [00:03:47] Speaker A: You can decommit. It's not a college. [00:03:50] Speaker C: No, I have to. I can't decommit. That's not me. I. The first that came to mind. Besides, you already named some that were. That hearkened back to a simpler time. Great time. [00:04:00] Speaker A: It's a great way to say it. A simpler time. [00:04:02] Speaker C: Yes. That was. That was great. The 2001 Nike Freestyle Commercial Elite. Elite. We're talking about the NBA. It's like the dark setting where they're doing like the street ball moves. [00:04:17] Speaker A: Yes. [00:04:17] Speaker B: The. [00:04:18] Speaker C: We've got Vince Carter. [00:04:19] Speaker B: Yes. [00:04:20] Speaker C: Jason Williams. Lamar Odom. Rashid Wall. Might have been. No, I think AI was not with Nike. [00:04:29] Speaker A: Oh, he's a Reebok guy. [00:04:30] Speaker C: The TMAC may have been a later rendition. Baron Davis was in it. Darius Miles. It was. That's the throwback. And Paul Pierce was in it. [00:04:38] Speaker A: And the truth. Those were pooped his pants. [00:04:41] Speaker C: Those guys were fantastic. [00:04:43] Speaker B: That reminds me of like the old Mia Ham Nike commercials. Like, anything you can do, I can do better. [00:04:50] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's right. [00:04:51] Speaker B: Like a whole thing. [00:04:53] Speaker A: I was going to Ask you what your favorite ESPN commercial was. You know, those are some good. Maybe we'll hold on that. I want our listeners to throw in next week our question of the week. We haven't done this before at the Steve Irwin. We want. Maybe we want to prep our listeners for what they're like that. I want you to be a part of our question of the week. What is your favorite ESPN commercial? [00:05:14] Speaker C: Let's hear from you. Let's hear from you. Commission. Simon and Justin. [00:05:18] Speaker B: Yes. [00:05:18] Speaker A: Speaking of commission, we don't have a commission report because the 49ers are playing right now already up 14 to 3. It's looking good. [00:05:25] Speaker C: They missed the field. [00:05:26] Speaker A: Okay. I watched the touchdown. I walked away and said, up 11 there. [00:05:30] Speaker C: Missed an extra point. I could hear the commission just groaning from here. [00:05:33] Speaker B: Just something in the NFC west with their kickers over there. [00:05:37] Speaker C: Wow. Yeah. [00:05:38] Speaker A: Wow. [00:05:38] Speaker B: It's bad. [00:05:40] Speaker A: Shout out. [00:05:40] Speaker B: LA Rams. Oh. [00:05:43] Speaker C: Worst in their division. Oh, the NFL standings are hilarious right now. Just to see who's in the last place in their divisions. We've got the Lions at the bottom. We've got the Rams at the bottom. The Bengals are at the bottom. [00:05:53] Speaker B: At the bottom. [00:05:54] Speaker A: You're funny. [00:05:55] Speaker B: But here's the funny thing is if the playoff started like, you know, week six. Yeah, I get it. [00:06:01] Speaker A: Love this. [00:06:02] Speaker B: Every single team in the NFC north would be in the playoffs, dudes being dudes right here. There are seven teams with a winning record in the NFC and the NFC north has four of them. [00:06:15] Speaker C: Let's see how it plays out. [00:06:17] Speaker B: I mean, yeah, it's probably not going to end that way because they're all going to be. It's. The north is going to be a bloodbath down the stretch. [00:06:26] Speaker C: I know we've got some interesting matchups, guys. [00:06:28] Speaker A: I actually want to start. Before we get to our listeners, I just need to ask you a blatant, like, I don't understand this and I'm going to initially go to Kyle for this because I really want Ian to filibuster his point so that he can really hit me with like, his best. [00:06:44] Speaker B: Oh, God. [00:06:45] Speaker A: I want to know what's up with the Rams. The Rams have the third best total offense and the third best total defense in the NFL. They're 2 and 4, last place in the NFC West. And on top of that, I mean, they're. They kind of are a train wreck. Devonte. Devonte's hamstring. Miles Garrett still isn't back. Blake Groupie. Did we see this yesterday? [00:07:11] Speaker B: Yeah, he went. [00:07:12] Speaker A: Their kicker who they signed after, you know, firing their other kicker and then getting a new one. He basically ran down somebody during a kickoff. And yeah, it's the definition of if Ian decided to go run in front of a football player. He went with the hit. He. That's your thing. He went with the hit. Okay. Kyron Williams is vocally frustrated on their team. Sean McVeigh lost the locker room. Special teams is a disaster. Explain this to me. Talk to me like I'm four. [00:07:41] Speaker B: Go ahead. [00:07:42] Speaker C: They lost Jared Verse and didn't replace him with anything, any. Anybody. What else is different? I don't know. It's the same team. I don't know. They're just dysfunctional. [00:07:51] Speaker B: Yeah, the. [00:07:52] Speaker C: They're like the Eagles that we've seen over recent seasons are just like not playing to their potential. [00:07:57] Speaker B: Here's my observation is if you paid attention to the Rams last year, which they got to pretty far, NFC championship, [00:08:04] Speaker A: this is your big team. By the way, I love second team. [00:08:06] Speaker B: They're like one of my favorite teams. [00:08:08] Speaker A: Second. [00:08:09] Speaker B: Second favorite team, sure. Definitely. They're up there. I'm not going to say no. If you watched the Rams at all last year, their defense was not actually that great. They had a lot of games they had to win in a lot of high scoring games. Their defense was like very bend, don't break. And this year they were banking on Miles Garrett replacing Jared Verse. He played one game, didn't have any impact whatsoever and has been the on the IR ever since. That's like a his. That's a huge miss. I do not think you can blame the Rams for taking a swing there, by the way. [00:08:51] Speaker C: No, no, no. [00:08:52] Speaker B: Like everybody understood why you would do that. It's just the way it is that it hasn't played out that way. That doesn't mean it's going to be this bad forever. Right. I mean, is he supposed to come back before the end of the season? [00:09:08] Speaker A: Yes. Garrett, yeah. Yes. Yep. [00:09:10] Speaker C: Definitely. Definitely. But Aaron Donald, this is what you unretired for, to come back to this. [00:09:16] Speaker B: Have you heard his name even in the highlights? [00:09:19] Speaker C: There's not giving it to Blake Corum enough. That's the problem. [00:09:22] Speaker B: Good deflection. [00:09:24] Speaker A: That's truly. I think a big part of it is Kyron Williams was a workhorse for them last year. [00:09:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:09:31] Speaker A: Last night. What's up with that? I mean, he didn't get the Cam Scatter Boo Donut. Where Cam Scatter Boo literally got zero carries yesterday for the Giants. But there's an issue going on in this team and I don't have an answer to it. I still don't really, after hearing you guys, which is okay. Like, we might not have an answer, and I need to be okay with not having an answer. [00:09:49] Speaker B: I just think their defense. My answer is their defense wasn't actually particularly great last year. It was, like, pretty mid. And they were banking on Aaron Donald and Miles Garrett to beef it up, and they haven't. Miles Garrett's been injured. Aaron Donald, it turns out, despite the fact that you're an athletic freak, you haven't played in a few years. You're coming back and you're not at what you were. You're just not. You were past your prime. You've been on the couch for a couple years. It's clearly. He's still probably pretty darn good comparatively to the league, but he's not the game wrecker that he was when he retired. [00:10:29] Speaker A: I. [00:10:30] Speaker B: Can we agree on that at least? [00:10:32] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe all around. Like, nobody. But there isn't, like, a part of this team that is performing up to its standard expectations. You can't point to anybody who's just like, oh, at least they're shining. At least they're doing. [00:10:46] Speaker A: At least hookah's leading the NFL. And catch, you know, there isn't. Right. [00:10:50] Speaker B: But here's the funny thing. This team could just be old. They have Matt Stafford, who. It's kind of like in the air. Is this his last year? Is he gonna try to eke out, you know, one more run? You know, what's. What's. They're. They're acting like this is probably Stafford's last year and he's up there for any player. Devonte Adams isn't getting any younger. You know, I think his best years are gone for sure. [00:11:21] Speaker C: For wide receivers, he's very old. [00:11:23] Speaker B: They're prime key players. Their superstars are pretty much past their prime, with maybe the exception on Stafford because he obviously just had an MVP season. So I don't know if anybody would want to write off anything there. And on top, their special teams is non existent. They would be three and three if they had a special teams, and we wouldn't be having this conversation. [00:11:47] Speaker C: Oh, interesting. You think so? Yeah. [00:11:51] Speaker B: They lost against the Bills because of a. A kick. [00:11:55] Speaker C: Yes. [00:11:55] Speaker B: And I do think Sean McVeigh in that game against what that was against the Bills, was way too conservative at the end of that game. Way too conservative. Especially with a kicker who you had at the time that you knew was barely making things past 50 and he had already missed and they didn't Even try to fight for more additional yards. They ran the ball and they're running is like mediocre. [00:12:23] Speaker A: Well, they haven't been able. They haven't been able to commit to a running back. And then Blake Corum sets him up afterwards. That. That's how the NFL or their season of the past few years has gone. And I think that was a huge part of their success. So. So can I ask what would be worse for you? What's worse right now? And this will be my last thing. And we'll get to the listener questions. Okay, Kyle? [00:12:45] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. [00:12:46] Speaker A: By the way, Sean. Sean McVeigh. 0 and 6 against Laforce. [00:12:51] Speaker C: It's a great step. Okay. [00:12:53] Speaker A: What's worse? Okay. Being the Rams right now, you've really kind of mortgaged your future for the now, and the now is not going well. Okay. That's one option. That's option A. Option B. You could be the Eagles. [00:13:09] Speaker B: Oh, I thought you were going to go a different LA team. [00:13:11] Speaker C: I thought so do that. Right, right, right. [00:13:13] Speaker A: We've talked a lot about the Chargers. I'm laying off of them right now. The Eagles right now have a huge controversy with Jaylen Herz in his injury. They, you know, gave him a diagnosis of a slight. A superficial blood clot and then had him play in the game in London. [00:13:31] Speaker B: They didn't just have him play. They told him you need to stay awake for 36 hours or you could basically. Was it die? [00:13:43] Speaker A: I don't know if it was die, but, like, it would complicate his symptoms. And so he was supposed to stay awake. And then they flew him back and he played a week of practice and thought the calf is. It's just strange. He didn't want to get into the specifics, but he was in a hospital the night before the game. [00:14:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:14:01] Speaker A: And now this is negligent. Oh, it's. I. People should be fired. [00:14:07] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:14:07] Speaker B: Like, this is period beyond fire. This is like you're fired and investigated. [00:14:13] Speaker A: So now we have the Eagles that, by the way, also have a ton of injuries all across the board. [00:14:18] Speaker C: Okay. And a sudden retirement. [00:14:19] Speaker A: And a sudden retirement based on mental health, which we don't know. [00:14:22] Speaker B: Staff that is completely incompetent. [00:14:24] Speaker A: I wanted him fired a year ago, two years ago. And then he won a suitable. But so there's that. And then the last one I have for you, it's actually one we don't really talk a lot about. It's the Colts. I just want to name all the big moves that Chris Ballard has done as their gm. And if you didn't know his name. You should hopefully he gets fired soon so that. [00:14:45] Speaker C: We never thought he was fired. [00:14:47] Speaker B: He got fired today. [00:14:48] Speaker A: Perfect. I'm going to just tell you a little bit of his names. I didn't know that. So maybe this is why this came across my timeline. He had a first and a third and a third round pick for Carson Wentz. He also had a third round pick [00:15:00] Speaker B: for Matt Ryan for a first for that. Oh. [00:15:05] Speaker A: He had a fourth overall pick on Anthony Richardson. He had two first round picks for Adonis Mitchell and Sauce Gardner. He had a 2 year 88 million dollar extension for Daniel Jones post Achilles tear. 10 years, 0 division titles. In a division that really, I mean it's up for grabs pretty darn consistently. So between the three, which is the worst, which would you least likely to be? [00:15:34] Speaker B: I would say the Rams. I think this team, this is currently just. You are going into this season with the highest super bowl odds you can get and this is what you have to show for it. And the problem is it doesn't look like it's getting any better. It looks like it's going to get worse because I think devonte Adams is now going to be on ir. Yep. And so you're down just to Puka, right? [00:16:08] Speaker C: Yep. [00:16:09] Speaker B: I. I just think that team is in freefall if you can't even beat the Cardinals. They're a bad football team. That's not. [00:16:19] Speaker A: That's my Cardinals you're talking about. Thank you very much. [00:16:21] Speaker B: Your Cardinals are a bad football team. [00:16:24] Speaker A: Put some respect on my name. [00:16:26] Speaker B: They're a bad football team. [00:16:28] Speaker C: Okay. We got it. [00:16:30] Speaker A: Fine. [00:16:30] Speaker B: Well I'm just like. [00:16:31] Speaker C: The point is they're not that bad vis a vis. The Rams are a bad football team. [00:16:36] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:16:36] Speaker B: They are. They are right now. Yes, they are. Which is a complete master class of a fumble of what this roster was supposed to do this year. [00:16:48] Speaker A: They're. [00:16:49] Speaker B: And like I. Yeah, they don't even look like they're gonna get any better. They actually look very dysfunctional which is. That is a sign of like almost like a bacterial infection within the team. Like something is going wrong in there and they're already talking about has he lost the locker room? Like who knows? No one's in the locker room. I hate those conversations because it's like [00:17:14] Speaker A: love a good conversation about that. That makes me smile. [00:17:16] Speaker B: We could start talking when we have player only meetings and the ping pong tables taken out. [00:17:21] Speaker C: Counterpoint. I think the Rams are fine. It's. The panic is overblown. Hitting the panic button Right now, premature. [00:17:30] Speaker B: Chill out, folks. [00:17:32] Speaker C: This team still has an immense amount of talent. Veteran talent, patient talent, one of the best coaches in the game. Old talent, old talent. I said it in the off season and it'll say it again. They're all in moves right now are highly respectable. I love it. I'm all for it. But it is precarious due to the age of their roster and how reliant it is on a lot of these aging veterans. Still, if you were to fast forward a few weeks from now and say they were just kind of in a slump, they kind of figured it out, made some adjustments, got some wins back on track, and we. The future is bright for the Rams. Everybody would believe that and no one would be shocked. That's completely within the realm of possibilities. [00:18:20] Speaker B: The only thing I want to add, and then I'll. You can tell me more is I want to be clear that while this is a big fumble by the Rams, I just want to add on to the fact of, like, what you're saying that all these moves are like. No one was saying these are bad moves. And I think that's the point. Sometimes you swing and a miss and I think that's what this is. [00:18:41] Speaker C: Yeah, it could be. They Very well. We've seen it happen before and this may be the next example of like a cautionary tale about leveraging too much of your future. But I respect it. And frankly, which more teams would do this, like, play this kind of strategy that Lesnith follows. But Sean McVeigh I'd kind of have trust in. I would rather be a Rams fan right now. [00:19:07] Speaker A: And they have Ty Simpson, quarterback from Alabama. They draft in the first. They do have some hope there. [00:19:12] Speaker C: There's some hope. [00:19:13] Speaker A: There's hope. That is what the draft is. [00:19:17] Speaker B: The Colts, okay, it's the Colts. But they just think they're getting a fresh start. They just fired their gm. [00:19:22] Speaker C: That means you're starting a rebuild. Those are not fun for anything. You could play the chimes if you wanted right now and we could go back not even 12 months. Months ago. Less than that. When there was. There were few fan bases in the NFL more energized and excited by what they were seeing. The delightful surprise of a functional court. Colt Super Bowl. I mean, not super bowl football team performing with the best offense in the league. Indiana Jones stars were coming out. It was looking like we're building something here. They're building on top of young talent. The team is performing. Maybe we found our coach. Shane Steichen. Seems like he's got everything rolling. And if you fast forward from that moment in time to now, it's like everything fell apart. All the worst case scenarios have played out and we are buckling up for a rebuild. You know, throw that jersey and hat for the Colts that you were proudly wearing back into the closet and go back to being a sad, depressed fan of this franchise. [00:20:26] Speaker A: What about that guy that sings the songs? This is Colts. [00:20:30] Speaker B: We are family. [00:20:32] Speaker A: You think he's still singing after the GM gets fired? [00:20:34] Speaker C: I don't know anything about you. You are the guy. You know about him. You report on. [00:20:38] Speaker A: You report on asking you a question. [00:20:39] Speaker C: Yeah, I don't know anything about him. I'm not plugged in guy. [00:20:43] Speaker B: Once it's America's time gonna be our team. [00:20:45] Speaker A: They were once a time. Once upon a time America's team. And then we changed to Atlanta. [00:20:50] Speaker C: Yes, we are. We were rotating. We did. We were rotating. We were like having a team of [00:20:57] Speaker B: the year was back Ballard, the gm with luck. [00:21:01] Speaker C: I. I'm not. [00:21:03] Speaker A: I'll get back to you on that. [00:21:04] Speaker C: Yeah, you should. You should. He might have just gotten lucky on that one. But ever since then. Well, no, I was a lot of. Yeah. Yeah. Questionable moves. So I would not want to be a Colts fan. And I think the Rams are fine. I don't. I'm not shedding a tear for any Rams fan right now. [00:21:23] Speaker B: I. [00:21:24] Speaker A: He was the gm, by the way. [00:21:25] Speaker B: I know we haven't talked like we don't really want to mention the Chargers, but I actually think they should be in this conversation. [00:21:32] Speaker A: We have a few other teams that can make this conversation. Actually, one of them goes into. This is from our listener, Justin Matson. [00:21:38] Speaker B: Go for it. [00:21:39] Speaker A: Justin Matson writes in about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A rare Tampa Bay Buccaneers take, but it does have a little twist as to why it was a part of our questions. He says, and I quote, I think Todd Bowles has been the head coach in the NFL the last time as of this past week. [00:21:57] Speaker C: Whoa. [00:21:58] Speaker A: Also shout out to his son Troy, who is a good linebacker for Michigan, currently leads the team in tackles. [00:22:03] Speaker C: Wow. [00:22:05] Speaker A: Tommy Carr, by the way, new quarterback for Michigan. [00:22:09] Speaker C: Yeah, I have. [00:22:10] Speaker A: They bench Bryce. [00:22:12] Speaker C: Right. [00:22:12] Speaker A: Just want to let him see. [00:22:13] Speaker B: I have. I'm going to level with you. I haven't watched Bryce almost any college football this year. [00:22:18] Speaker A: That's okay. Notre Dame loss this past week. I'd be glad if nobody watched football this past week. [00:22:21] Speaker C: Right. [00:22:22] Speaker A: We're sorry for you. But Todd Bowles, they lost to the Buccaneers or the Buccaneers lost to. That'd be hard to lose to yourself. But they lost to the Steelers, a team that often has their quarterback dropping F bombs at their coach live on TV during the middle of the game, from the sideline to the field, or vice versa. [00:22:42] Speaker B: It's just the game before this one. [00:22:44] Speaker A: Well, this is the same guy who, like, the coach fell. Injured himself walking out to the game. [00:22:51] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. [00:22:52] Speaker A: And then, like, around the entire game. [00:22:55] Speaker C: So embarrassing. [00:22:55] Speaker A: I just. There's always something with this team. [00:22:58] Speaker C: Gosh. After that, I pull him at Patricia and ride the car. [00:23:01] Speaker B: They're doing. [00:23:03] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:23:04] Speaker B: They're doing the thing. They're doing the classic Steelers move, which is they keep finding ways to win stupid games. Yeah, they're four and two. [00:23:14] Speaker A: But those Bucks, like. Yeah, they had Jalen Daniels out there, Kansas quarterback, which, by the way, he was an elite part of Marshall making money the past couple years while he was a college quarterback. Always take the over with Kansas when he was playing. [00:23:30] Speaker B: I am not going to say that I keep tabs on the Bucks. [00:23:35] Speaker A: Okay. [00:23:36] Speaker B: But I have seen. [00:23:37] Speaker A: Not setting yourself up well to be an expert here. [00:23:39] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:23:40] Speaker B: But I have. [00:23:41] Speaker C: I don't watch them that they're last in their division. [00:23:45] Speaker B: I don't think this is that big of a surprise that they are where they are, because Todd Bowles needs to probably have been fired already. [00:23:57] Speaker C: Whoa. [00:23:58] Speaker B: And the fact that he still has this job is, like, good for him. [00:24:04] Speaker A: But that was fire. So you get it. Fired. [00:24:07] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:24:09] Speaker B: And from what I have seen on the Tampa Bay Reddit community, they do not like Todd Bowles. They want. They wanted him gone last year. And so that's like, you know, just like what the Internet. I know. What does Internet know? But I've seen a lot of people complain about Todd. Mr. Bowles. [00:24:27] Speaker A: Yeah. First name go right from Todd to Mr. Well, you're amazing. Please don't change, Ian. [00:24:32] Speaker B: Coach. [00:24:33] Speaker A: Well, I. I would disagree that I don't think he'll be fired during. Before the end of the year. [00:24:39] Speaker B: Yeah. Maybe not before the end of the. [00:24:40] Speaker A: Not while Baker's injured. [00:24:42] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:24:43] Speaker A: That's the part to me that do. I think he's an awful coach. Yeah, probably. He probably should have been fired maybe a year and a half ago. [00:24:50] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:24:51] Speaker A: So our next listener comes in from Jamie Hesslaw. My one. My one. I almost said one and only. No, My one of two brothers. Shout out to Tommy. By the way, let's get a question from you, Tommy. [00:25:03] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:25:03] Speaker A: Not going to ask him where yet. If you're 25 minutes into this podcast, and heard the shout out to you. Okay, Jamie, all the way from Hermosa Cal. Hermosa Beach, California, right now writes in will the bill's inability to stop people hinder their historic offense. At this point, it's almost. It almost doesn't matter to me how much they give up because Josh Allen will go get it back. But how sustainable is that, Ian, what do you, you know, run your life by? [00:25:32] Speaker B: Defense wins championship. [00:25:35] Speaker A: I was figured I'd just set you up for that one before he said it. But this offense, I mean, it is, it's the Josh Allen show. I know, but I feel like it's just even more and more lately. The balance of him running last year was. Last year was the Josh Allen show featuring James Cook. Right. And with a big bold featuring. [00:26:00] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:26:00] Speaker A: Like James Cook led the NFL in rushing last year. Yeah. [00:26:05] Speaker C: Forgotten. [00:26:06] Speaker A: Not forgotten right now. Not forgotten. We're bringing it up right now. But not the case right now for their team. But they still have these wide receivers and tight ends who come out of nowhere. And Josh Allen just. Did you see the flicker that he threw yesterday for the touchdown? [00:26:22] Speaker C: It was crazy. [00:26:23] Speaker A: He just throws it across his body while three people are going to come tack. [00:26:26] Speaker B: It's just, it was quite ridiculous. [00:26:29] Speaker A: What's your take on that? I mean, we've talked a lot about, a lot about historic offenses, whether it's Lamar with the Ravens or Mahomes, the top three. You know, we, we almost could talk into a corner about all three of them. Yeah. But this offense is insane right now. [00:26:45] Speaker B: I feel like I remember saying this at the beginning of the year that I don't have much to say about the Bills because they are, they are who we thought they were. [00:26:56] Speaker A: Okay, can we have a debate, you and I? [00:26:58] Speaker C: Respectfully, defense has regressed, which is the point of question. It's really. It's one of the worst in the NFL right now. [00:27:05] Speaker B: They certainly. They're an impressive team in the fact that Josh Allen is impressive. And if Josh Allen was on any other team, the Bills would be absolute garbage. [00:27:16] Speaker A: Totally. Because there's nobody, no disagreement. [00:27:18] Speaker B: And I have felt for several years that that team has nobody on that offense other than Josh Allen and James Cook. They have no real receiver. They've never made any real big attempts outside of like when they had digs to have a real top tier receiver. They didn't really do anything in this off season to find a real like Shakir. Is that your. Is that their wide receiver? One that's a wide receiver too. If I've ever Seen one. He's decent, he's good. He is not your team. And it then forces them to rely on Josh Allen. Very similar to what I've seen. [00:28:07] Speaker A: Like, I mean they did go get DJ Moore. I mean he hasn't been great this year. [00:28:11] Speaker C: Injured, right? [00:28:12] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean but, but they did, they did go out and try and do something. They've tried to draft Keon Coleman. They spent a first round pick on somebody. They have Skyler Bell, who's a rookie right now. I understand what you're saying. [00:28:22] Speaker B: Maybe their GM needs to get fired then this is a roster. [00:28:27] Speaker A: The GM is the same person who said that the coaches made the decision to go draft Keon Coleman when the coach that was also in the room that made the pick was now your new head coach. [00:28:39] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:39] Speaker A: So there, there is some inept things that are happening there. But I, I don't want to walk past this because it frustrates me to hear you say we should just not talk about them because they haven't done anything in the playoffs when the Lions haven't done anything in the playoffs. And we talk about them every week. But we talked about Jared Go for 45 minutes. [00:28:58] Speaker B: But what I said at the beginning of the year was the Bills, we know how good they are. They are consistently. And I'm just going to talk about the Bills in general. I, I don't want to keep referring to them as just like the Josh Allens. The Buffalo Allens. Although you know what? I am the Buffalo Allens. [00:29:16] Speaker A: I actually like that. I'm good on that. [00:29:19] Speaker B: The Buffalo Allen, we know how good they are. Like I don't need to be reconvinced every year of how good they are. That's it. I feel. And when I watch them even this year, they feel like every other year to me where they have an amazing quarterback who does everything and will find ways to win you games if given the opportunity and then they just fall apart. And that's not always Alan's fault in the playoffs by the way. I don't actually. It's all. It's for all these other things we talked about. You finally get up against these top tier teams and all of these glaring issues that we've talking about right now. That's when it shows they are not a fully equipped team to make it all the way. And then they will never be a fully equipped team to make it all the way unless they do something about it. And maybe that's firing their GM and building a roster that can compete. Maybe it's going out and spending some money on, I don't know, some defensive stuff. [00:30:25] Speaker A: Miles Garrett. To sit on their team and not play, right? [00:30:29] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, right. Remember when they picked up Von Miller and there. [00:30:34] Speaker B: There were. They had Von Miller and there was, like, the way they had, like, an opportunity. [00:30:40] Speaker C: They obtained a Bosa brother, didn't they? Is he on ir? [00:30:44] Speaker A: What's. What's the deal on their team anymore? [00:30:45] Speaker C: Oh, okay. [00:30:46] Speaker B: My point is, like, it's not that there's not like, we can't talk about them or anything like that. It's more like, I know who they are. Like, they haven't changed. Their identity is still the same. The Lions, I feel like, is different because it feels like from year to year their identity is different and they're a hometown team. Like, of course we're going to talk about them. Okay. I don't really know what else to say about that. [00:31:11] Speaker A: Like, thank you. [00:31:12] Speaker C: That. [00:31:13] Speaker A: That was. I just. That needs to be said in my. In my part of, like, they're a team. I'm going to keep bringing them up. I think they're. [00:31:23] Speaker B: I don't even know. And that's fine. You can bring them up. I'm just not going out of my way. But now that we're here, I don't even know how I feel about Allen all the time. Like, he's. He's an incredible quarterback. I'm not going to take away what he is capable of doing. Mr. Allen, sometimes I don't know what it is. I don't know what it is. When I see him smile. I hate it. [00:31:45] Speaker C: What? [00:31:46] Speaker A: What? [00:31:47] Speaker C: What? [00:31:47] Speaker A: I know. [00:31:48] Speaker B: I don't. I don't. It's like this smug little grin. He's the only. He's like a quarterback. He has lowlights online of him, like, overacting to get. [00:32:04] Speaker C: Oh, you don't like the flops. That's right. [00:32:06] Speaker B: I hate the flops. [00:32:07] Speaker C: You railed on him for that last season. [00:32:09] Speaker B: I hate the flops. And then he, like, he has the nerve to stand up and, like, throw a cheeky little smile and I'm like, you little. [00:32:15] Speaker A: I love that. Son of a. I love that. [00:32:18] Speaker C: I love. [00:32:19] Speaker A: Like, I got away with something. [00:32:20] Speaker B: But they. In this. [00:32:21] Speaker C: I don't like his commercials. I'm just gonna say the Sofi stuff. [00:32:24] Speaker A: It sucks. [00:32:25] Speaker C: It's lame. [00:32:27] Speaker A: Okay. [00:32:28] Speaker C: I feel like Patrick Mahomes has had better commercials than Aaron Rodgers. Maybe it's just a Safar Go has [00:32:33] Speaker A: a good Little Caesars commercial. [00:32:36] Speaker B: Burt Reynolds pose that. [00:32:37] Speaker C: He's got Josh Allen. He needs to make better endorsement Deals and get better commercials. [00:32:43] Speaker B: He needs to. [00:32:43] Speaker A: He has the endorsement deal we all need in our life. You ready for it? [00:32:46] Speaker C: The pistachios, his wife. [00:32:47] Speaker B: Oh, and you want to know what, though? He needs his wife to teach him acting lessons. [00:32:51] Speaker A: Well, I'd rather have him be a good football player than the opposite. [00:32:55] Speaker B: I, I, he's, I got no problems with Josh Allen. It's just like sometimes I'm just. Wipe that little smirk off your face. When I, I had the same problem, I took it personally when Bryce Young was just giggling like a little school girl while he was playing the lions defense. And I was like, don't do that. Makes me feel bad. So I just take it personally. [00:33:17] Speaker A: All right. Well, I just had to, I had to get that point out there. I appreciate being honest. So you have a segment this week for us. What do you got for. [00:33:28] Speaker C: Hold on. I got something from. I just got something from Simon that I don't. [00:33:30] Speaker A: Fresh off the press. [00:33:31] Speaker C: Simon Reedsma. [00:33:34] Speaker A: Thank you. Reedsman's Raiders. [00:33:36] Speaker C: Reedsman's Raiders. We were texting a little bit about [00:33:38] Speaker A: big weekend for him this weekend. [00:33:41] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. [00:33:41] Speaker A: Are they gonna finally go to Mendoza? [00:33:45] Speaker C: That would surprise me, but I don't [00:33:48] Speaker B: think Kirk was that bad. [00:33:50] Speaker C: Yeah, no, he wasn't. [00:33:51] Speaker A: I'm just talking about to get a little freshness in there. [00:33:53] Speaker C: You know, I don't, I'm not sure there's a problem. I'm not sure that's the problem. [00:33:57] Speaker B: All over there, though. [00:33:58] Speaker C: No, they're playing well. But Simon was texting me. He was like, he was asking if We've played the 170 mini game on sleeper. Have you guys played that? [00:34:07] Speaker A: No. [00:34:07] Speaker C: On the sleeper fantasy app, there's. Have you ever seen the 170 or like the 82 and. [00:34:12] Speaker A: Oh, I've done that. [00:34:13] Speaker C: You played the game where it like, [00:34:15] Speaker A: oh, you pick a quarterback. [00:34:16] Speaker C: Well, it generates a team in a year. [00:34:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:34:18] Speaker C: And then you have to select for that, you know, like whoever the best players from that. And then you build out your roster and it just generates a random one. So in the sleeper app, you can do that. And so if time it was texting me his and he was able to play it and get a 13 and 14, which is a pretty decent score. The best I could do was get an 11 and 6 team. My selections and dice roll. We're not super great. It's in the app. It's really easy to play. I'd love to hear from listeners. If you use the sleeper app for fantasy and you play the little 170 game, what's the best record you can come up with from playing it and. And tell us what team you ended up with. I'd love to show you guys my team, but that would be boring radio. So I won't do it. [00:34:58] Speaker A: And we're not on the radio. [00:34:59] Speaker C: But that's what Simon reads the flag on that. [00:35:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:35:04] Speaker B: Did you guys know? [00:35:05] Speaker A: No. [00:35:06] Speaker B: Oh, there was 22 flags in the game last night with the packers and the Cowboys. [00:35:12] Speaker C: Go on the. [00:35:13] Speaker B: The packers scored 23 points. The. The. The refs almost tied the game with their score. Their score. [00:35:21] Speaker C: You know, I've seen some guys who were said who were doing like ref fantasy or it was flex. [00:35:27] Speaker B: The refs have been. They've been bad this year. [00:35:32] Speaker C: Is this your segment is about refs? [00:35:33] Speaker B: No, it's not. [00:35:34] Speaker C: It's not. Oh man. [00:35:36] Speaker B: I know. I was angrily texting about how I hate pass interference as like a flag. It's not even the only flag that bothers me. I think roughing the passer also is obnoxious because some of those calls again on deck last night, they were bad. [00:35:53] Speaker C: Really? [00:35:54] Speaker B: They were so bad. They were like he would get like lightly shoved to the ground and roughing the passer because he just. [00:36:02] Speaker C: The one where he threw the pick to Valentine that was a like weak. [00:36:07] Speaker B: That was. [00:36:07] Speaker C: I thought the flag was like for a horse collar tackle on. On the. On Valentine, but. Oh my gosh. I don't know. [00:36:13] Speaker B: I My problem with. I do have a problem with PI and roughing the passer in the fact that I feel like any. In any game where you have competitive like high level play, the governing. I'm trying to figure out like the officiating group that is in charge now. [00:36:36] Speaker C: This is your segment. [00:36:38] Speaker B: No, this is not. Okay. I'm just going on a rant. [00:36:41] Speaker C: I'm going on a rant. I just want to be in the right mode. [00:36:45] Speaker B: I am. Right. [00:36:46] Speaker C: Okay. Rant way. [00:36:50] Speaker B: But I feel like in any sport where the officiating crew they should have as minimal of an impact on the game as possible. [00:37:01] Speaker C: Okay. [00:37:02] Speaker B: They should not be something the following day that you are overtly talking about. [00:37:08] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:37:08] Speaker B: It's going to be unavoidable. Sometimes there's controversial calls, but that's going to happen. [00:37:14] Speaker C: Right. [00:37:14] Speaker B: Like I. That's. But it shouldn't be like a regular thing. [00:37:18] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:37:18] Speaker B: And I find that like there was roughing the passer highlights of Dak all over the Internet today and like Golden's flexing taunting was so stupid to get a penalty on that. Oh and I. There was a lot of conversations about like just how stupid these penalties were. And they're not like a huge deal because the packers blew the Cowboys out anyways because they are terrible right now. But I just find like certain penalties I've noticed and that game reminded me feel really bad to watch. And they make the game worse because they exist. And those two, roughing the passer and PI are the two biggest defenders in my opinion because no matter what happens, someone's gonna be mad. And they're not like, it's not like you watch the replay every time either. And you're like, oh yeah, I can kind of see it. Like sometimes you're like, yeah, that was holding. [00:38:25] Speaker A: Right? Right. Like the end of the Notre Dame game that didn't get called in the end zone with one second left. [00:38:32] Speaker C: Right. [00:38:33] Speaker A: We missed. [00:38:34] Speaker B: But in these two cases, there a lot of the times, even during the game the commentators are like, I don't know, man. Like, I don't know if I would agree with that. [00:38:46] Speaker C: Right. [00:38:47] Speaker B: And both of them are huge penalties. 15 yards automatic, first down or spot of the foul automatic. Those are game changing penalties. And I absolutely do have a problem with the fact that oh singular penalty can result in the complete revival of a drive that can ultimately end in points. Oh yeah, that ch. And that changes the game. [00:39:12] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:39:13] Speaker B: One penalty. [00:39:14] Speaker C: I know. [00:39:14] Speaker B: And I have a problem with that. Like there, there should never be a thing. And especially when there are two penalties that are so subjective and they are never consistent on. And if you can't ref it consistently, then it's a bad penalty to exist in the game because it's bad for the game. [00:39:38] Speaker A: That's a take. [00:39:39] Speaker C: Wow. [00:39:41] Speaker B: And I also think players play to get the penalty and I think that's bad gameplay as well. [00:39:50] Speaker C: Okay. [00:39:50] Speaker B: It's a criticism on like Josh Allen overacting on to try to draw roughing the passer. I don't like seeing it. I don't think it should be in football. I think it's. It's a move, personally. [00:40:03] Speaker A: Okay. [00:40:04] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:40:04] Speaker B: It's not real football to me. And I don't like it when every single frickin time there's a huge deep ball. The immediate reaction is the quarterback throwing his hands up in the air looking for a flag and the receiver looking around for it. And everybody's waiting. [00:40:21] Speaker C: Right. Because there's no other explanation for not [00:40:23] Speaker B: completing every single time. And I hate it. And that is bad football. It's a bad feeling. And if the NFL and Roger Goodell are listening to me, yeah, we want money. That's my take. Yeah. [00:40:42] Speaker C: Okay. [00:40:42] Speaker B: That I was. That's my spiel. [00:40:45] Speaker C: It's not a bad rant. Okay. I respect that. [00:40:47] Speaker B: That's all. [00:40:48] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:40:48] Speaker C: Come and bring fire a little bit. Don't, like. Don't want to. Tough of dicks. We want hot ones. [00:40:52] Speaker A: And thanks, Roger. [00:40:53] Speaker C: That one's a little spicy. [00:40:54] Speaker B: Okay. [00:40:54] Speaker C: I. The only time I really get mad about penalties is when incredible feats of athleticism are erased. [00:41:00] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:01] Speaker C: When, like, okay, that. The guy just made an incredible play, and now we've got to rob them of that because of something. Un. In worst case is unrelated to the play. That's just obnoxious. But in other cases, it's like, oh, no, his shoulder fell down the wrong. And he just secured this catch. A great risk physically to his body. It's like, it's. They do amazing things out there. And when the play doesn't stand and it literally just gets erased, it. It doesn't even go on his highlight reel, you know, like, no one talks [00:41:34] Speaker B: about it ever again. [00:41:34] Speaker C: That. That is a bummer to me. [00:41:36] Speaker B: Yeah, that and, like, when you have sports betting on stuff like this, it changes the complete dynamic of it. [00:41:43] Speaker A: Ah, sports betting. [00:41:44] Speaker C: Some someday. And it is not this day. I'll do a sports betting rant. [00:41:48] Speaker A: What? Yeah, I'll be here. Sports betting. I'll mute the mic. [00:41:53] Speaker C: I'll. I will. [00:41:54] Speaker B: It's bad for the sport. [00:41:55] Speaker C: I'm not saying it. I'm not saying it today. I'm not on record on it today. But on a different day, when the time is right, words will be said. [00:42:05] Speaker B: Do we want to do my actual segment now? [00:42:07] Speaker A: Let's hear it. [00:42:08] Speaker B: Okay, I got a game for you. [00:42:10] Speaker A: I love games. [00:42:10] Speaker B: I feel like our segments are turning into game shows. [00:42:14] Speaker C: I like when our listeners play along. Did I get a text to somebody who's telling me their guesses? That was super fun. [00:42:19] Speaker B: They can play along. If not. [00:42:21] Speaker C: Please do. [00:42:22] Speaker B: This is Deal or no Deal. [00:42:25] Speaker C: That's a TV game show. I don't know how it works. [00:42:27] Speaker B: You're gonna. I have. You're gonna basically build an offense. You're gonna be able to choose a quarterback, a running back, two receivers, a tight end, your O line, and your head coach. [00:42:37] Speaker C: Okay. [00:42:39] Speaker B: I have six options in each category. I'll keep track. [00:42:43] Speaker C: Yep. [00:42:43] Speaker B: You're gonna pick a case, essentially one through six. [00:42:47] Speaker C: Like a briefcase. [00:42:48] Speaker B: Case, like a briefcase. [00:42:49] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. I've seen the commercials for this. [00:42:50] Speaker A: Right. [00:42:51] Speaker B: Okay. [00:42:51] Speaker A: Make sure I get these. [00:42:52] Speaker B: I'll tell you. [00:42:52] Speaker A: Right. We got quarterback, quarterback, running back, wide receiver. [00:42:57] Speaker B: Two times. [00:42:57] Speaker A: Okay. [00:42:58] Speaker B: Tight ends. O line. Head coach. Not oka. Not like offensive coordinator. We'll go like straight head coach. [00:43:06] Speaker C: All right. [00:43:07] Speaker B: No defense. [00:43:07] Speaker A: Okay. This is like doesn't win championships. Yeah. [00:43:11] Speaker C: Everybody knows we can't pick the same one. Are we taking turns? What's that? [00:43:15] Speaker B: We're gonna. So we're gonna basically do this draft style. So, like you'll for example, get the first choice of case for quarterbacks. [00:43:22] Speaker C: And this is head to head. Who's better? [00:43:24] Speaker B: Yeah, I'll keep track and then you can. We'll compare the teams at the end of it. Now you pick a case, you open it. You can either stick with your guy or you can say no deal and you can choose to open. [00:43:37] Speaker A: Do I get to hear who his is? Like after I go. [00:43:40] Speaker B: He goes first. [00:43:41] Speaker A: Okay, go ahead. One, three, six, quarterback. Let's hear. [00:43:44] Speaker C: I want to hear listeners writing in. Are you team Jacob or team Edward or whatever? Is that. Is that. Did I get that right? [00:43:49] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:43:49] Speaker C: Yeah. Okay. Or team Marshall or team Kyle. [00:43:51] Speaker B: Wow. [00:43:51] Speaker C: Yeah. Weird. I know stuff. I know stuff. [00:43:54] Speaker B: And then I'll tell you at the end who you didn't pick because we're only going to open four cases because you only get to say no deal once. [00:44:00] Speaker A: Oh, really? [00:44:01] Speaker C: This is brutal. [00:44:03] Speaker B: We could do it twice if you want. [00:44:04] Speaker A: Let's do twice. There's a lot of names on here. [00:44:07] Speaker C: Okay. I am 70% sure I understand what to do. [00:44:11] Speaker B: Okay. [00:44:11] Speaker A: Do you want me to go first so he does. He doesn't know? [00:44:13] Speaker C: No. You don't get the first pick. [00:44:15] Speaker B: You can. [00:44:16] Speaker C: Is that an advantage? [00:44:17] Speaker B: It. You're going to go. It's random off, so you go first this round. And quarterbacks, he's going to go first in the wide receiver round. [00:44:26] Speaker C: Okay. And then you're going to tell me what's in the case. And then I have to. [00:44:29] Speaker B: And then you can say dealer number. [00:44:31] Speaker A: Pick a number one through six for quarterbacks. [00:44:34] Speaker C: Why am I picking a number one? [00:44:35] Speaker B: Two? [00:44:35] Speaker C: Oh, those are the cases. [00:44:37] Speaker B: Oh, my God. [00:44:41] Speaker C: Can we start over? I'm just kidding. Okay. A number one through six. Okay, give me one. [00:44:45] Speaker A: You're driving number one. [00:44:46] Speaker B: Your quarterback in your first case. Your case currently correct. Sam Darnold. Do you want to keep Sam Darnold? [00:44:53] Speaker C: No deal. Okay. [00:44:54] Speaker A: Just so you know, you can only get rid of the case and say no deal twice. Okay. So. [00:45:01] Speaker C: Okay. [00:45:01] Speaker A: Okay, go ahead. [00:45:02] Speaker C: He's leading the lead in turn league in turnovers two seasons in a row. [00:45:05] Speaker A: No thanks, love apple turnovers. [00:45:07] Speaker B: Okay, so you have successfully said no deal on case one. [00:45:11] Speaker A: What's your two through six? [00:45:12] Speaker B: Two through six. [00:45:14] Speaker C: Oh, so I get to go again? Give me number two. [00:45:17] Speaker A: God. [00:45:17] Speaker B: You want number two? [00:45:18] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:45:19] Speaker B: Justin Herbert Frick. [00:45:21] Speaker C: Yes. [00:45:22] Speaker A: Okay. [00:45:23] Speaker C: Sorry. Oh. Oh. So can I say it again? [00:45:25] Speaker B: I. I wanted to stop there, but [00:45:28] Speaker A: I feel like you should be able to say no deal twice the entire game. Oh. Oh. [00:45:34] Speaker B: But I was saying, Mike, you can say no deal per category. [00:45:38] Speaker A: Oh, I'm good with once per category. I think that's fair. [00:45:41] Speaker C: All right. [00:45:41] Speaker A: I'm sorry. [00:45:42] Speaker B: I was like. All right. [00:45:43] Speaker C: Okay. [00:45:45] Speaker B: You're stuck with Herbert. [00:45:46] Speaker A: Okay, I'm gonna go. [00:45:47] Speaker B: You know, three through six. [00:45:50] Speaker A: You would think that the bad quarterbacks are at the beginning, so the good quarterbacks are at the end, but that's what he'd want me to think. So I'm gonna go with four. [00:45:56] Speaker C: Right. [00:45:57] Speaker B: Jordan Love, you can go three, five, or six if you want to. [00:46:02] Speaker C: Can we make a trade? [00:46:03] Speaker A: I'm keeping him. [00:46:03] Speaker B: No, you're gonna keep him. [00:46:05] Speaker A: You want to see you tell me what 2, 5, and 6 were? [00:46:08] Speaker B: Okay, let me. I'm highlighting everybody's names here so I remember who everybody got. [00:46:12] Speaker C: All right. [00:46:13] Speaker A: I can keep it, by the way, if that helps you. [00:46:15] Speaker B: Okay. No, I got it. [00:46:15] Speaker C: Jordan Love could win MVP this year. [00:46:18] Speaker B: Case number three was Dak Prescott. [00:46:23] Speaker C: Okay. [00:46:24] Speaker B: I don't know how we feel about him. Based on last night, he did not [00:46:27] Speaker A: have a great game. [00:46:28] Speaker C: No, he did. No. [00:46:29] Speaker B: Case number five, Jared Goff. [00:46:31] Speaker C: Okay. [00:46:32] Speaker B: Gotta put my boy in there. [00:46:33] Speaker C: Great. [00:46:33] Speaker A: Of course. [00:46:33] Speaker B: Case number six, Patrick Mahomes. Oh, my God. [00:46:36] Speaker A: Addie. [00:46:37] Speaker B: All right, Marshall gets to go first. Running back. [00:46:40] Speaker A: I'm going number one. Because he wouldn't put two awful players number one twice. [00:46:45] Speaker B: Cam. Scatter. [00:46:45] Speaker C: Boo. [00:46:46] Speaker A: I'm saying goodbye. I'm gonna go. He wouldn't do bad cases on number two two times in a row. [00:46:54] Speaker B: Number two, James Cook. [00:46:56] Speaker A: Thank you. I'm taking that. I'm good. Okay. I mean, I have to be good with it. [00:46:59] Speaker B: But three through six. Okay, six JK Dolphins. [00:47:04] Speaker A: Ooh. [00:47:06] Speaker C: So I get one. No deal. [00:47:07] Speaker B: You get so every round. [00:47:09] Speaker C: Every round. [00:47:10] Speaker B: So you can say no deal. [00:47:11] Speaker C: I'm saying no deal. [00:47:12] Speaker B: And I'm going for David Montgomery. [00:47:15] Speaker C: All right, fine. I'll take him. [00:47:17] Speaker B: You guys passed up on case number three, Jameer Gibbs. And case number five was Jonathan Taylor. [00:47:25] Speaker C: Okay. [00:47:26] Speaker A: Okay. Wide receiver. Go ahead, Kyle. All right, six. [00:47:29] Speaker C: Give me number. Wait. Three. [00:47:32] Speaker B: Three. George Pickens. [00:47:36] Speaker C: I like. That's pretty good. That's pretty good. All right, I'm staying. [00:47:41] Speaker A: Okay. [00:47:42] Speaker B: Not bad. [00:47:43] Speaker A: All right, I'm gonna go one. JSN first day in. [00:47:49] Speaker C: I feel like you're crushing me here. [00:47:51] Speaker B: Yeah. Case number two is Puka. Number four was Cooper Cup. Number five was JMO Williams. And six was Malik Neighbors. [00:48:02] Speaker A: All right, my next one. [00:48:04] Speaker C: I feel like I could have been hit on everybody. [00:48:06] Speaker A: I'm going back to one Christian Watson. I'm keeping him because you got Jordan Love. Yeah, we got good Toyota. Thon is coming up soon. [00:48:15] Speaker C: There you go. [00:48:16] Speaker B: Some good chemistry there. [00:48:17] Speaker C: Oh, man. All right, give me number two. [00:48:20] Speaker B: Number two, Khalif Raymond. [00:48:22] Speaker C: No deal. [00:48:25] Speaker B: Give me number five, Justin Jefferson. Thank you. I feel like you finally got a good hit there. [00:48:32] Speaker A: There we go. [00:48:32] Speaker B: You've been missing pretty hard. You got a reunion or no, you don't have a reunion. I thought you had Sam Darnold for a second. All right, you get to go first for tight ends. [00:48:43] Speaker C: Okay. [00:48:43] Speaker B: Give me number. Oh, wait. Did I tell you who you missed out on? [00:48:46] Speaker A: No. [00:48:46] Speaker B: Case number three was Romeo Dobbs, Jordan Addison and Jacoby Myers. I think you guys picked the two [00:48:52] Speaker A: best out of all of them. Thank you. [00:48:53] Speaker C: Nicely done. All right. We're getting in your head. In. I think that's why I know that's [00:48:58] Speaker A: how the odds work too this time around. [00:49:00] Speaker B: Tight ends. [00:49:01] Speaker A: The fourth category. We finally got the top two. [00:49:03] Speaker B: Number four, Kyle Pitts. [00:49:08] Speaker C: I'll stay. [00:49:09] Speaker B: Okay. I'll take that deal. Taking the deal. [00:49:13] Speaker C: I'm taking the deal. [00:49:13] Speaker B: It's a risk, right? [00:49:14] Speaker C: Cuz you don't have. [00:49:16] Speaker B: You don't know who's there. Cuz I have. I've been purposely putting some very many. [00:49:20] Speaker A: Tell me who you got again. [00:49:20] Speaker C: I got cow pits. [00:49:21] Speaker B: C pits. You got case. One, two, three and five and six. He took. [00:49:25] Speaker A: I'm going to go six. [00:49:26] Speaker B: Brock Bowers. [00:49:28] Speaker A: I'm keeping them. [00:49:29] Speaker B: You should keep them. You guys passed on. [00:49:31] Speaker A: Where's Trey McBride at? [00:49:33] Speaker C: I know. I want Tucker crowd. [00:49:34] Speaker B: What? Not in here. I can't make every pick on here I had. Number one was Travis Kelce. Two is Isaiah Likely. Three Tyler Higby. And five was Colston Loveland. [00:49:47] Speaker A: Isaiah likely been very good. [00:49:50] Speaker B: Likely is pretty solid. [00:49:51] Speaker A: I actually I to keep him. [00:49:53] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:49:57] Speaker A: I turn that one down, by the way. [00:49:59] Speaker C: Do that to yourself. [00:50:00] Speaker A: Well, it turned it down. [00:50:01] Speaker B: That's why line Marshall. [00:50:03] Speaker A: I'm going one Green Bay Packers. [00:50:07] Speaker C: Okay. [00:50:08] Speaker A: No, I'm going to take the farthest number away from them. [00:50:12] Speaker B: Number six, Houston Texans. [00:50:14] Speaker C: That also sucks. Awful sucks. [00:50:16] Speaker A: But they're better than the packers that I'm going. [00:50:20] Speaker C: Split the diff. Let's go. [00:50:21] Speaker B: Three Tennessee Titans. [00:50:24] Speaker A: Get rid of it. [00:50:25] Speaker C: Get rid of It. Let's go to number two, Miami Dolphins. Oh, what is this? [00:50:30] Speaker A: We both suck. It's okay. I'm just running out routes the entire time with jsn. [00:50:35] Speaker B: I purposely picked some of the worst ones I could find. [00:50:37] Speaker A: Oh, that's good. [00:50:38] Speaker B: Actually, the other one was Arizona Cardinals at four, and then five was the Lions, which actually, surprisingly is ranked quite highly right now. I didn't realize. [00:50:48] Speaker A: You know what's funny? In the prep for looking at just what would be a good offensive line, I pulled up Chat GBT and said, Give me the top 10 offensive lines. Number one, Detroit Lions. According to ChatGPT, it says Panay Sewell and rookie Blake Miller lead the group. They're lying about it. [00:51:07] Speaker C: That's. [00:51:07] Speaker A: That's their breakdown. [00:51:09] Speaker B: Stat wise, it actually they are doing quite well. [00:51:11] Speaker C: Right. [00:51:11] Speaker B: Which when you watch them, they're slow to start. [00:51:14] Speaker A: According to PFF rankings. This is through. [00:51:16] Speaker B: Okay. The. They're slow to start, but when they finally get into a groove, they. [00:51:23] Speaker A: It doesn't hurt having the weapons around them too. [00:51:25] Speaker B: No, it does not. [00:51:26] Speaker A: Doesn't hurt. [00:51:27] Speaker B: They got a good over. [00:51:28] Speaker A: Let's get this coach. [00:51:29] Speaker B: All right, Kyle. [00:51:31] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. You need a number. [00:51:34] Speaker B: Yeah. One through six. Pick a coach. [00:51:36] Speaker C: I'm feeling five. [00:51:38] Speaker B: Kyle Shanahan. [00:51:40] Speaker C: Oh, I have slandered the man in the past. I feel like I would be hypocritical to take him, and yet I shall. Yeah, I think you're gonna. I think you think you've dropped some bombs in there. I think this is a game of Minesweeper I'm playing right now. I think you're gonna. For the. For the bit. [00:52:02] Speaker B: I'm trying to figure out who should go in here. All right. [00:52:06] Speaker A: Three. [00:52:07] Speaker B: Matt LeFlore. Oh, if he. [00:52:11] Speaker C: Well, pair him up with Jordan Love and Christian Watson. [00:52:14] Speaker A: I'm. That's the reason I'm getting rid of him. [00:52:16] Speaker B: Oh, okay. [00:52:17] Speaker A: I'm not gonna take him. I'm gonna go four. Four. [00:52:20] Speaker B: Kevin o'. [00:52:20] Speaker C: Connell. [00:52:21] Speaker A: I'm good with that. Quarterback whisper of quarterback whispers. [00:52:24] Speaker B: That's not bad. You guys passed down and I got [00:52:26] Speaker A: Brian Flores with it. [00:52:28] Speaker B: Todd Monkin, who I. Is doing quite well in Cleveland right now, needs to be said. [00:52:33] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:52:34] Speaker B: Kyle Stefanski. [00:52:35] Speaker A: I'm okay not saying it. [00:52:36] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:52:36] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:52:36] Speaker B: I'm surprised you didn't pick six. It's your favorite. It's your favorite Marshall. [00:52:42] Speaker A: My favorite coach. [00:52:42] Speaker C: Who is your favorite? [00:52:45] Speaker B: Nick Sirianni. [00:52:46] Speaker A: Oh, I'm so glad I didn't. [00:52:48] Speaker C: There you go. [00:52:49] Speaker A: I was really thinking about going six. Two. [00:52:50] Speaker B: All right, Kyle, your team. Oh, there's more head coach [00:52:56] Speaker A: and you get a logo. [00:53:00] Speaker B: Right, Kyle, your team with your head coach of Kyle Shanahan is Justin Herbert behind the Miami Dolphins. [00:53:07] Speaker C: Okay. O. [00:53:08] Speaker B: Line throw into George Pickens and Justin Jefferson. [00:53:12] Speaker C: Love it. Love it. [00:53:13] Speaker B: With Dave Montgomery and Kyle Pitts. [00:53:15] Speaker C: I can work with that. We can win a lot of games. We can win a lot of games. [00:53:19] Speaker B: You. I. The. Yeah. I don't know who has the better. [00:53:23] Speaker A: A lot of outruns or your team's [00:53:25] Speaker C: running scheme up some action. [00:53:27] Speaker B: You gotta get rid of that ball quick. Yeah. Yeah. [00:53:29] Speaker C: But we can't. [00:53:30] Speaker A: Let's hear about Shanahan. [00:53:31] Speaker B: I bet you could. [00:53:32] Speaker A: No, let's hear about the winner. [00:53:34] Speaker B: All right, Marshall with your head coach of Kevin o' Connell led with Jordan Love. Throw into JSN and Christian Watson and a. James Cook running back and Brock Bowers. [00:53:48] Speaker A: We're going to commit to the run. This offensive line got three touchdowns for David Montgomery in week one behind the Texans. When committed, we can run the ball. [00:53:56] Speaker C: Right. Establish the run. Yep. That's the thing he said. [00:53:59] Speaker A: That's how I. That's how I live my life. [00:54:00] Speaker C: Right. [00:54:00] Speaker A: Right. [00:54:01] Speaker C: That's how you know that someone knows ball. [00:54:02] Speaker A: Can. Can I add on to your game a little bit? We did have a listener question. I forgot. And it relates to coaches. Eric G. Nunzio writes in about the one and only Mike Tomlin, who I was hoping would have made a, you know, cameo somehow on this game. But he says, and I quote, mike Tomlin is fair to mediocre as an analyst, but he seems like he likes his job very much. Will the master of getting in the playoffs return in 2027, and will it be for the Dallas Cowboys? [00:54:32] Speaker B: No, I don't actually. [00:54:35] Speaker A: You think? I dismiss things. [00:54:39] Speaker B: It's the. Come on. He was on. [00:54:42] Speaker A: He just asked the question. He went, no. [00:54:45] Speaker B: He was on the Kelsey's podcast and they were talking about, like, how does it feel being going from, like, media from being a head coach? And he. He basically said, like, it's the easiest thing and I get paid way more. [00:55:00] Speaker C: Wow. [00:55:00] Speaker B: The. He is very basically saying, like, this job is awesome. [00:55:04] Speaker C: It sounds awesome. [00:55:05] Speaker B: It sounds great. [00:55:07] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:55:07] Speaker C: I don't know why. They all do. Why did Sean Payton go back to coaching? I don't understand why Sean McVeigh doesn't retire. He's got the offer there like he does. [00:55:14] Speaker B: This is. [00:55:15] Speaker C: I don't get it. Why would you pass? Why would you keep playing doing the hard job for less money? Who does that? [00:55:20] Speaker A: Now, the rumor that in the media has been Talking has been spoken, I think quietly. I think it's going to get a little bit louder if the team keeps struggling. Is there's an NFL coach who they think will be resetting the market on what these analysts will be being paid. [00:55:40] Speaker C: Are you talking Jim Harbaugh? [00:55:42] Speaker A: I'm talking about. Oh, wow, that'd be a good one. I'm talking about Sean McVay. Floated for years. [00:55:48] Speaker C: That's why I said Sean McVeigh. [00:55:49] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:55:49] Speaker C: He's been. He's had the offer to retire and [00:55:52] Speaker A: do media for years, but specifically doing Monday Night Football is the rumor with Joe Bach. [00:56:00] Speaker B: Oh, I thought they were rumoring Joe with Pat McAfee is what? [00:56:04] Speaker A: So I've heard a few. [00:56:05] Speaker B: No, I've heard that. [00:56:06] Speaker A: I've heard. I've heard Peyton Manning. [00:56:08] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. [00:56:09] Speaker A: Going to do it. He's already under contract with espn. Like, they would just. The main cast has been a failure. [00:56:17] Speaker B: Well, it's only been a failure the last, like, couple years when they decided to give up on what they were doing with, which was two Goober brothers watching football and, you know, just talking about the game. And now they're trying to do, like, so many freaking celebrities. Celebrities. Guests and stuff. And I don't think it's drawing the viewership anymore because people don't really care about what a celebrity has to say. Like, cool. I don't really care what Macaulay Culkin's wife has to say about football. [00:56:46] Speaker C: Hey, she was pretty good, but I [00:56:48] Speaker B: don't really care to listen to what she has to say. [00:56:50] Speaker A: From the Sweet Life of Zack and Cody. [00:56:53] Speaker B: I don't really care. [00:56:53] Speaker A: London Tipton. [00:56:55] Speaker B: Most football guys are not gonna care about what she's got about football. Okay, well, she got something to say [00:57:02] Speaker A: that's not gonna call you a sexist pig. I'm not. [00:57:04] Speaker B: If she's got something, it's not even. It's not even just her. Like, I love Breaking Bad just as much as the next person, but I don't really need to have, like, those two. Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul. Aaron Paul. [00:57:18] Speaker A: Were they selling whiskey? [00:57:19] Speaker B: I don't. I don't know what they were doing, but on their whiskey, like, I don't watch football to. To hear celebrities. It's actually one of the huge things I think about sports that is pretty unanimous is a lot of fans don't really care about which celebrity is at the game, so you don't need to keep showing them on the screen. [00:57:39] Speaker A: I will say that there is one team that I think I Want to know who the celebrities are? And I'm going to see. Kyle, if you can get this one team in all of sports that we care about what celebrities are at the game. [00:57:52] Speaker C: One team in all of sports. [00:57:54] Speaker A: It's not NFL, all of sports. [00:57:57] Speaker B: It's probably a basketball team. [00:57:58] Speaker C: We care who's at the game. New York Knicks. [00:58:02] Speaker A: New York Knicks. Great job. That's for you. New York Knicks is the right answer. We care about who is at those games. [00:58:11] Speaker C: Madison Square Garden courtside is just. That's the. [00:58:13] Speaker A: Doesn't even need to be courtside. Were you in attendance when they won the NBA championship? Man, that's what people, People care about that. Yeah, it's the one. [00:58:21] Speaker C: It is. [00:58:21] Speaker A: You laugh at it, but it is the who was at the Pistons games for the playoff run. They care if Big Sean was there or not. Yeah, like that's a celebrity. That's an icon to Detroit. So it's true. [00:58:34] Speaker C: I don't know. I don't know that we can say. Nobody knows more what fans actually care about than the media companies putting these, the producing these entertainment programs that we watch. So if they're showing it, then they know better than us. [00:58:50] Speaker A: There has to be somebody really wanting to see Kevin Hart talk about the Eagles for the 18th time. [00:58:54] Speaker B: It's. If I had to fathom, I guess it's for the, the, the non football viewers to tune in to see their favorite celebrities on the TV or you know, like the, you know, you put it on the tv. Something happened on the tv. [00:59:13] Speaker A: We just tuned out what Ian was saying, just heard Joe Buck go, well, anything else we want to leave our listeners with today? [00:59:23] Speaker B: Guys, the only thing that I think is worth noting is that our picks this year have been quite interesting. We were talking about it before the pod, but we have had every week we have been successfully picking our games. At least one person has missed on their, their lock and the last two weeks it's been two people missing on their loss. [00:59:43] Speaker C: That's pretty bad. It's a big deal to miss any lock. So interpret that as there's been some surprising upsets going on in recent weeks [00:59:49] Speaker A: in the NFL and we don't know anything. [00:59:51] Speaker B: It's also. I am starting to find it is getting harder and harder to figure out who to pick in some of these games. Yeah, I remember last year it was like pretty difficult to figure out like who is actually like good and like, like, like couldn't even figure out who was going to make it to the super bowl and the playoffs were starting. Like no one really had any idea. And now I'm like, dude, I don't even know. I got Minnesota as a lock and Minnesota, they're as much. They're 5, 0, but they're as much likely to lose because their offense can't score anything as they're going to win because their defense will just destroy the Colts. That's all I have to say about that. [01:00:34] Speaker A: Thank you, thank you, thank you. Are we going to give our locks and upsets? Have we been doing that this year? [01:00:39] Speaker C: I'm not sure if we have. [01:00:40] Speaker B: I'm not sure if we did it last year. We did it last week. We did it last week. [01:00:44] Speaker A: We'll give our locks right now. You. You're guaranteeing who's going to win? [01:00:47] Speaker B: I said Minnesota. Yeah, that's my luck. [01:00:49] Speaker A: I'm saying Dallas will beat Philly and the blood clot infested Eagles. [01:00:55] Speaker C: Okay, my lock was. Let's see. I think that the Texans run is going to continue and they're going to knock out the giants. [01:01:00] Speaker A: Man. Giants. J.J. mcCarthy More passing yards in the fourth quarter than many, many quarterbacks in the entire game. [01:01:09] Speaker B: Yeah, more than Justin herbert. My upset one game, JJ McCarthy, and he only started half a game. Has more passing yards and touchdowns than Justin Herbert through six games. [01:01:24] Speaker C: That's. That doesn't make sense. [01:01:26] Speaker A: That's bad. [01:01:28] Speaker B: That is bad, bad. [01:01:29] Speaker A: Justin Herbert, put on your bingo cards. Ian yelled into the mic really loud. [01:01:34] Speaker B: Sorry. This is like three weeks in a row. [01:01:35] Speaker A: Three weeks. It's actually. I can agree to that. It's been at least three weeks. My upset pick. Commish, I'm going against you right now. I think Atlanta is going to win just in any given Sunday. Michael Panick's kind of game. So, Kyle, your upset pick. I was stunned to see this. Thursday Night Football. Oh, just kidding. That's Ian's. Ian, there's an in football. [01:01:58] Speaker B: New England over the Bears. Wow. Yeah, I don't know. [01:02:02] Speaker A: Bears were hot yesterday too. [01:02:04] Speaker B: New England has also been looking like they're back in form though. People sold on them pretty early. But they have responded quite well. They've been doing quite well. So I like it. [01:02:18] Speaker A: Kyle, give us your upset pick. [01:02:20] Speaker C: My upset pick is I don't like to do this. I rarely do this. But I'm thinking that the packers are going to upset the Lions. Packers are finding their stride an interesting way. Their defense looks phenomenal. Phenomenal. The best receiving duo in the NFL right now is Watson and Golden. [01:02:40] Speaker B: That can't be real. [01:02:41] Speaker C: It is the. The best combo of two receivers I [01:02:45] Speaker B: think in the most passing yards, convict is going to be running. Is he going to be. [01:02:49] Speaker C: Josh Jacobs is questionable to return. He's off the commissioner's exempt list, and it is unclear whether he will play. [01:02:56] Speaker B: Here's the good thing for you. You don't need to worry about running. [01:02:59] Speaker C: No, we. [01:03:00] Speaker B: We don't have a secondary, so. [01:03:02] Speaker C: Right. So the. The two most prolific wide receivers in the game right now are coming to town. Detroit. That's unfortunate. [01:03:11] Speaker B: Prolific. [01:03:12] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. The combination of the 1 and 2 have the most receiving yards of any duo in the league. [01:03:18] Speaker B: Prolific. [01:03:19] Speaker A: Prolific. I would. I would agree with him right now. [01:03:22] Speaker C: Yeah. Yeah. Jordan Love is. [01:03:23] Speaker B: There's a lot of drop passes. [01:03:24] Speaker C: Having a really good season. [01:03:26] Speaker B: Did you even watch the game last night? [01:03:28] Speaker A: I watched a lot of. Do this game. [01:03:30] Speaker C: I did. [01:03:30] Speaker A: Kyle does not like this game. I've done it before. Do not do this game. [01:03:34] Speaker C: It's rude. [01:03:35] Speaker B: Let me. [01:03:36] Speaker A: It's really offensive to Kyle and. [01:03:38] Speaker B: Kyle, let me rephrase. Did you watch the highlights of that game? [01:03:44] Speaker C: Okay, stop. One of these weeks, I'm gonna have you come watch my kids. I'm gonna watch some football. [01:03:51] Speaker B: I said highlights. [01:03:52] Speaker C: Sit on my butt and watch some football games. [01:03:53] Speaker B: I just said highlights. I just said highlights. [01:03:55] Speaker A: You're invited, by the way, when you're at work. [01:03:58] Speaker C: Invited to drop my kids off at your house so I can watch some football. [01:04:01] Speaker A: Absolutely not. [01:04:02] Speaker C: I love them. I can't. It's not my kids. I don't want to blame my kids. It's sad because I actually have work. No, I actually have a household to run. I've got projects to get done. I got things to fix themselves. So I'm sorry. I can't sit on my butt and watch football. Oh, not bitter. [01:04:19] Speaker B: I was doing last night. [01:04:21] Speaker C: I'm not bitter. [01:04:22] Speaker B: Sitting on my butt watching football while the girls were asleep. That's exactly what I was doing last night. [01:04:26] Speaker C: Yeah, actually, that's what I was doing late at night as well. But I was working at the same time. I had a work project to finish up, so that's what I was doing. [01:04:33] Speaker B: You know, Kyle, I wasn't trying to strike a nerve. I want to be honest. [01:04:36] Speaker A: Yeah, okay. [01:04:36] Speaker B: I wasn't actually. I apologize. [01:04:38] Speaker C: I want to watch football, you guys. You gotta understand that. I want to. [01:04:42] Speaker B: I know. I know you do. [01:04:44] Speaker C: Do you? Thank you. [01:04:46] Speaker B: I do. Thank you. [01:04:47] Speaker C: I love what. It's one of the great joys in life. [01:04:49] Speaker B: It's great. Just sitting down, cracking open a cold brew. [01:04:54] Speaker C: That's what I would do. Yeah. [01:04:59] Speaker B: Taking that sip sitting with your bros. [01:05:03] Speaker C: You guys don't do that. [01:05:05] Speaker B: But I. I mean, I. Crack open a Coke. [01:05:07] Speaker C: Okay. All right. There you go. [01:05:08] Speaker A: I just had a liquid death iced tea. What are you talking about? [01:05:12] Speaker C: I know. I know, you guys. I just. I wish I could watch it more. It's really fun. It's really special. I've got this big tv, too. [01:05:20] Speaker A: It misses you. It's a really big tv. And the NFL. I texted it in the. [01:05:25] Speaker B: If anybody's still listening to the pot at this point, we have now entered the counseling stage. [01:05:32] Speaker A: Okay, so this is where I get to ask you if. Thanks for listening to the podcast today, guys. You don't want to talk about your issues. [01:05:57] Speaker C: You guys helped. You fixed every problem that I have. [01:06:00] Speaker A: Sweet. Thanks for letting me top Ian. It's an off wi fi. We're still recording. I think we'll get a new intro one day. Maybe Season six. Six updated from the commission. [01:06:25] Speaker B: Still recording? [01:06:27] Speaker A: Yeah, absolutely. The music's still playing. I can't let it end. I hope we get one next year that's new.
