[00:00:00] Speaker A: Welcome to the Point after show with
[00:00:02] Speaker B: Kyle Maurer, Marshall heslaw, and Ian DeWitt.
[00:00:05] Speaker A: This is the show where the guys
[00:00:07] Speaker C: attempt to pick the winners of the
[00:00:08] Speaker B: weekly NFL games along with some healthy
[00:00:10] Speaker A: debate about current topics.
Let's go.
[00:00:13] Speaker B: Hey, guys.
[00:00:14] Speaker A: Hey. Hey.
Whoa, Whoa. All three voices.
[00:00:17] Speaker B: Whoa.
[00:00:18] Speaker A: What?
[00:00:18] Speaker C: I'm sorry. What happened?
[00:00:20] Speaker A: One, two, three.
[00:00:24] Speaker C: Oh, my gosh. That's the number of people in this podcast studio recording this episode of the Point after for you listeners.
[00:00:31] Speaker B: The first time, probably.
[00:00:34] Speaker C: It's been years.
[00:00:36] Speaker B: I forgot what people looked like.
[00:00:38] Speaker A: I just came up to Ian and just gave him a hug, and he thought that it was because the Lions lost.
He's like, I know, I know. No, I was like, no, I missed you. He's like, oh, thanks.
[00:00:49] Speaker C: Yeah, we did miss you.
[00:00:50] Speaker A: You know what else I missed? I missed you eating random bags of candy that are.
[00:00:55] Speaker B: I already ate it.
[00:00:55] Speaker A: I know, I know.
[00:00:57] Speaker C: That's.
[00:00:58] Speaker B: Do you want me to get a new bag?
[00:00:59] Speaker A: I just missed you.
[00:00:59] Speaker B: Give me a Reese's. There's a whole bag.
[00:01:01] Speaker A: I'm okay. That's for a game. He didn't listen to the podcast. It's okay. I listened to your episodes when I wasn't here, but I'm not going to get into it right now. We did criticize you a little bit. That's your homework to do on your own. I'm not recounting again.
Instead, we're going to go to our question of the day.
Guys, favorite video game you're not allowed to give World of Warcraft.
[00:01:22] Speaker B: What?
[00:01:23] Speaker A: Y.
[00:01:23] Speaker C: Why not?
[00:01:24] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:01:24] Speaker B: Why not?
[00:01:25] Speaker A: Because that is lore to all podcasts that we have done with voice that you love. World of Warcraft.
[00:01:33] Speaker C: If we skip a dissertation on why we love these, can we just do that in the runner up top and runner up?
[00:01:38] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:01:39] Speaker B: What if it's a World of Warcraft adjacent?
Because there is a game.
[00:01:43] Speaker C: If you have to give a speech about it, then you only get one.
[00:01:47] Speaker B: What does that mean?
[00:01:47] Speaker C: I mean, we're just trying to be mindful of time here.
[00:01:50] Speaker B: All right, all right, fine. If I can't do it wow or wow related things, I will go Pokemon Emerald.
[00:02:03] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:02:03] Speaker B: Specific.
[00:02:04] Speaker C: What is that?
[00:02:06] Speaker A: Don't judge that.
[00:02:07] Speaker C: I've never heard of it.
[00:02:08] Speaker B: Pokemon.
Okay, so you. You know Pokemon.
[00:02:11] Speaker A: You can't give a speech.
[00:02:12] Speaker C: No tell.
[00:02:12] Speaker A: You can't give a speech.
[00:02:13] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:02:14] Speaker A: You get two. Two of them. Two of them.
[00:02:16] Speaker B: Two games.
[00:02:17] Speaker A: Yep. No speech. You get two.
[00:02:22] Speaker B: Smash bros. Nice, Kyle.
[00:02:25] Speaker C: Tony Hawk's pro skater.
[00:02:26] Speaker A: Pro skater, too. Yep. Knew that. Classic.
[00:02:30] Speaker C: And I'm gonna have to go.
[00:02:31] Speaker A: I went over to Kyle's once and he was just playing it after getting out of the hot tub. And I was like, what's going on in here? He's like, you just hear the. The soundtrack. It's just bangers. So good.
[00:02:40] Speaker C: Yeah. Rage against the Machine.
[00:02:42] Speaker B: Wow. That's awesome.
[00:02:43] Speaker C: Religion and. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Think about different.
[00:02:49] Speaker B: No speeches. No speeches.
[00:02:50] Speaker A: No speeches.
[00:02:51] Speaker B: You didn't let me do one.
[00:02:52] Speaker C: Okay. I'm gonna have to go. Half Life. Yeah.
[00:02:55] Speaker B: I have only ever. I'm giving the speech. I have only ever watched like playthroughs of that game.
[00:03:02] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:03:02] Speaker B: Very fun.
[00:03:03] Speaker C: Oh, it was so good. Very phenomenal. Yeah. There's a documentary about the making of Half Life that was enjoying recently.
Fantastic.
[00:03:11] Speaker A: All right, My answer would be.
I really, really, really like Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and clank.
Wow. Two PlayStation and two games. If I had to pick, I would have probably went Pokemon Yellow, Ratchet and Clank.
[00:03:25] Speaker B: I. I know, but I don't know.
[00:03:26] Speaker A: Jak and Daxter, it's just kind of like a self explore kind of game. Like that roleplay.
[00:03:31] Speaker B: Nice.
[00:03:32] Speaker A: Yeah. This is a. It was fun. Kind of reminds me of. It's the first game that came out for the PS2.
They were the. They were the two first games that came out with the BS. Two. That and NHL hits.
[00:03:42] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:03:43] Speaker A: Which is like the greatest. Like three out of three hockey, where you're just beating the dog crap out of another player.
[00:03:48] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:03:48] Speaker A: Speaking of beating the dog crap out of other players, did you guys see that foot yesterday?
[00:03:52] Speaker C: Taekwond Thornton. Oh, foot, man, that was bad, dude. He stands up to celebrate and then collapses.
[00:04:01] Speaker A: You know that happened with a broken leg a couple years ago with a.
A basketball player did that. Really?
But can I ask like, what's. What's up with. We're already on third string quarterbacks, guys.
[00:04:15] Speaker C: Yeah. I think multiple teams. Multiple teams.
[00:04:17] Speaker A: Run.
[00:04:17] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:04:18] Speaker A: What is this?
[00:04:19] Speaker B: There's a lot of. I have.
[00:04:21] Speaker A: Is this a growing concern that like the rule change that made Tom Brady safe when he got injured once needs to be done to another level for all players.
It's not football anymore. I don't even.
[00:04:32] Speaker B: I have watched like there was.
I think it was during the Panthers game, Jared Goff got like hit low and they called roughing the passer.
[00:04:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:04:45] Speaker B: They got like 315 yards.
[00:04:46] Speaker C: Right.
[00:04:46] Speaker B: And I remember watching that being like. I mean, that was like kind of soft. The guy kind of incidentally ran into him. I wouldn't really call that roughing the passer.
[00:04:54] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:04:55] Speaker B: But then I, I thought about it and I'm like, this isn't.
Who wants the. The NFL is worse when their star players are not out there controversial.
Well, I know. Big take. But like, nobody cares. It's like Lamar, he's injured right now. It's up in the air whether he's going to play against Atlanta.
[00:05:18] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:05:18] Speaker B: If I'm a Ravens fan. And if he's not out there, I'm like, ugh.
[00:05:23] Speaker A: I. Yeah.
[00:05:24] Speaker C: Maybe stand right now. Like.
[00:05:26] Speaker B: Like, why would I want to watch
[00:05:27] Speaker A: commander's on quarterback number three?
[00:05:29] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:05:30] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:05:30] Speaker A: Somebody never even heard of Giants looking. I mean, Bears quarterback three.
[00:05:36] Speaker C: Totally.
[00:05:37] Speaker B: Yeah. I just. It's one of those things where I'm just like, I understand a little bit more why they do it and they have so many rules protecting their star quarterbacks. Because I'm like, yeah, man, when you trot Tyler agent. Yeah. Tyson Bajan out there. And I'm like, dude, like, no one wants to watch him.
[00:05:57] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:05:58] Speaker B: Like, cool. He. He. They won.
[00:06:00] Speaker A: Right?
[00:06:01] Speaker B: But like, Case Keenan was way more enjoyable than that. They should probably put him back out there.
[00:06:05] Speaker A: Personally.
[00:06:07] Speaker B: I know, like, and I go, who the who the who is even say
[00:06:11] Speaker A: that one more time.
[00:06:14] Speaker B: I don't even know who the quarterback for Miami is right now.
[00:06:16] Speaker C: Malik Willis, still the starter, still the state starter.
[00:06:20] Speaker B: And Jacoby Brissette is apparently the Cardinals still there.
[00:06:23] Speaker A: Yeah. Wow. Still doing quarterbacks first string. Those are first string quarterbacks.
[00:06:28] Speaker B: First trick.
[00:06:29] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:06:29] Speaker B: Wow. Oh, yeah.
[00:06:30] Speaker C: I think it was the commanders who trotted out some guy named Athens from Greece, like a Rutgers.
[00:06:35] Speaker A: I mean, grad. I'm in.
[00:06:36] Speaker C: I've never heard of this guy. And he's getting live reps in the games.
[00:06:41] Speaker B: Does Justin Herbert need somebody to go in for him?
[00:06:44] Speaker C: Guys, I think he's. I was just playing like Thursday.
[00:06:46] Speaker A: Can we play problem or not a problem.
[00:06:48] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:06:49] Speaker A: Okay. I'm just gonna rattle off some. Some teams. You just tell me, problem. Not a problem. Okay.
[00:06:55] Speaker C: Like they have or they are just. All right.
[00:06:58] Speaker A: I'm not.
[00:06:58] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:06:59] Speaker A: Don't think overthink the game. Vikings problem. Not a problem.
[00:07:02] Speaker B: Not a problem.
[00:07:03] Speaker C: Not a problem.
[00:07:04] Speaker A: So they're a problem for other people.
[00:07:06] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:07:06] Speaker A: Okay. What if their lowest success.
They have the second lowest success? Yeah. They're offensive play percentage of anybody in the NFL.
[00:07:16] Speaker C: But oh my gosh. NFL Daily this morning they were like, we're gonna going to show you the super cut of the highlights from the Vikings game. And it was clip after clip after clip of just the field goal kicker kicking another, making another one and it was a bit. And it was very funny because that was their offense.
[00:07:33] Speaker A: Fewest offensive touchdowns scored amongst undefeated teams.
Chiefs 14, 49 or 16. Vikings 6. T.J. hawkinson goes down on the. On third down.
[00:07:46] Speaker B: Is he injured?
[00:07:47] Speaker A: No, no. But he goes down on the. On his final play. And they do not score a touchdown. And they are the third team in NFL history to ever do that behind the 1922 Chicago Cardinals and the 1923 Chicago Cardinals.
[00:08:02] Speaker C: Incredible.
[00:08:03] Speaker A: Incredible.
[00:08:04] Speaker C: There's some fun records.
[00:08:05] Speaker B: That's an odd, odd thing is point scored.
[00:08:09] Speaker A: Will Richard 32, punt team six, rest of offense six.
It's crazy. That's nuts. So they're not a problem. Not a problem though.
[00:08:22] Speaker B: But however, what do I always say?
[00:08:24] Speaker A: Ah, you live your life by one thing and one thing only. World of Warcraft is the greatest game in American history.
[00:08:29] Speaker B: Defense wins championship.
[00:08:32] Speaker C: Lives his life by it.
[00:08:33] Speaker B: And that's true. Yeah, we can keep going.
[00:08:35] Speaker C: They're looking like they're going to be in the playoffs this year.
[00:08:37] Speaker B: Okay. Their defense is okay.
[00:08:39] Speaker A: We got our pro. Not a problem guy. Chargers problem. Not a problem.
[00:08:42] Speaker B: A giant problem.
[00:08:44] Speaker C: Nothing but problem.
[00:08:45] Speaker B: Everything is a problem.
[00:08:46] Speaker C: Everything is.
[00:08:46] Speaker B: I couldn't even point to one thing that is a problem because it's all a problem.
[00:08:50] Speaker C: They lost like three wide receivers last. They've got. They lost lad and the other guys.
[00:08:55] Speaker B: And at first you'd think it's just a, a Mike McDaniels new offense problem. But then you watch the highlights of Justin Herbert and you're like, oh my
[00:09:04] Speaker A: God, it's terrible, dude. As a Joe Stan of a Notre Dame grad. Right left at. At one of their tackles. I mean he just, he's been playing awful.
[00:09:13] Speaker C: It's been terrible. And Harp is also getting hit just like.
[00:09:16] Speaker A: How about Harbaugh getting The question of McDaniel's going to be fired? And he's like, no, we're. We're developing our coaches just like we are players. And he's like, oh, you meant fired. Fired. Of course not. Like it was like he didn't process that somebody could potentially be losing their job from this.
You better be careful how much you're processing because he might be one of those people that loses.
[00:09:40] Speaker C: Yeah. Are you forgetting how few games there are like, you don't get misses in this league.
[00:09:44] Speaker B: This is rough for Harbaugh right now. I, I like him, but this is his second stint in the NFL is not going well.
[00:09:52] Speaker A: Okay, okay, well, that answers that. How about the Packers?
[00:09:56] Speaker C: Problems? Problem. Yeah, major problems.
[00:09:59] Speaker B: There they are.
[00:10:01] Speaker C: They signed a Bunch.
[00:10:01] Speaker A: Not a problem for other people.
[00:10:02] Speaker C: For the O line.
[00:10:03] Speaker A: Not a problem for other people.
[00:10:05] Speaker C: Not. No.
[00:10:05] Speaker B: Not a big enough.
[00:10:06] Speaker C: I do not think that they're a frightening team.
[00:10:08] Speaker A: Bigger problem. Lions defense or packers offensive line.
[00:10:13] Speaker B: When they play that. That.
[00:10:17] Speaker A: Oh, say it again.
The other part.
[00:10:21] Speaker B: When they play against each other.
[00:10:22] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:10:23] Speaker B: It's gonna be awful.
[00:10:24] Speaker C: It will be terrible.
[00:10:25] Speaker A: Yeah, it will be explosions.
[00:10:28] Speaker C: I'd rather be the Lions right now because I don't think the packers just have nothing. They have nothing working. Their defense is bad. Their run game is non existent. Their pass game is a struggle. Their O line is nothing. There's nothing. They just have nothing that's working. You can't point to a thing on the field and say that's going great.
[00:10:42] Speaker A: Tucker Craft scored.
[00:10:44] Speaker C: Tucker Craft is a great player.
[00:10:46] Speaker A: Ian talked about Tucker craft for like 12 weeks in a row last year
[00:10:49] Speaker C: and I've liked the.
[00:10:50] Speaker A: Even when he got injured.
[00:10:51] Speaker C: Watson.
[00:10:51] Speaker B: Tucker Craft was amazing. Here's what I will say for the packers problem. It's. It's mostly. Jordan Love has a problem because he's going to die.
He's going to die.
[00:11:03] Speaker C: Immortality problem.
[00:11:04] Speaker B: He's got like that O line is non existent. Like it's not there. It's.
[00:11:10] Speaker C: It is incredible.
[00:11:11] Speaker B: I watched some highlights of like it was this sack thing. It was whatever. I don't know. It was like a highlight of someone showing like some of the biggest, like worst offensive line plays of the week. And it was all packers and it was just like, Jordan Love running for his life. And I'm like this scary. This dude's gonna die.
[00:11:29] Speaker C: How many times a game you see guys just unblocked. Just go walk. Walk through.
[00:11:35] Speaker A: Not just throw unblocked. Like the defensive tackle right on the center.
[00:11:39] Speaker B: Right.
[00:11:39] Speaker C: And even when he gets.
[00:11:40] Speaker A: There were a couple of them where he's just like, come on back full speed. He didn't. Couldn't even hand the ball off. He just got hit.
[00:11:46] Speaker B: Yeah. And even when he.
[00:11:48] Speaker C: There's a gathering in the backfield. Let's go.
[00:11:50] Speaker B: Even when he does get the ball out in time, he gets smoked. Like.
[00:11:54] Speaker A: So you'd rather be the Lions secondary.
[00:11:56] Speaker B: Oh my God.
[00:11:58] Speaker A: They had plumbers out there last night. Dude.
[00:11:59] Speaker C: Bad competition was really. It was incredible.
[00:12:03] Speaker B: If I had to. I don't know how many times I watched them run the same dang play a stupid slant crossing route through the middle.
[00:12:16] Speaker C: Right, Right.
[00:12:17] Speaker B: Completion. And I'm like, that's like five times in a row.
[00:12:22] Speaker A: Yes, in a row.
All right, guys. I had to mute. I had to Mute his microphone. Just bring it down a little bit.
[00:12:35] Speaker C: He's back.
[00:12:36] Speaker B: All right.
[00:12:36] Speaker A: They're back.
[00:12:37] Speaker B: They're back.
[00:12:37] Speaker A: I'm fine. I know. I was scared. You were yelling, coughing. Everything just got problems.
[00:12:42] Speaker B: So mad.
[00:12:44] Speaker A: So. But there is a problem.
[00:12:47] Speaker C: It's awful.
[00:12:48] Speaker B: And they're Offense. The Lions offense, by the way, is inconsistent. They are not.
Every single game this year, they come out slow, and then they finally start getting.
They finally start getting going, and they're 31 points for the first three games is a deceiving stat line.
[00:13:06] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:13:07] Speaker B: Because some of those points in that Bills game were in chump time. Right.
[00:13:10] Speaker A: For sure.
[00:13:11] Speaker B: They don't. I don't like it because I'm like. This team is effectively scoring closer to, like, 25.
[00:13:17] Speaker A: More inconsistent offense. Lions or Eagles?
[00:13:21] Speaker B: Eagles.
[00:13:23] Speaker C: Yeah. Eagles is terrible. They did not convert a third down this week. I think they went, like, over 12 or over 13. It was, like, the worst in their franchise history. It was really atrocious. Incredible. What they.
[00:13:36] Speaker B: What I love about not accomplish.
[00:13:38] Speaker A: Can something be incredible and atrocious.
[00:13:40] Speaker B: Yes, it's incredibly atrocious.
[00:13:42] Speaker A: Yes. Okay, so the fewest yards per drop back in a game over the last two seasons. Okay.
Cam Ward last year during his NFL debut.
Brandon Allen, his only appearance in 2025.
Trey Lance in his one NFL start.
One start ever.
And Jalen Hurts yesterday against the Rams.
[00:14:09] Speaker B: Trey Lance only got one.
[00:14:10] Speaker C: No, just. Just last season, he had more starts. He had starts at the 9. It was his first start. He's been with the Cowboys for several seasons.
[00:14:18] Speaker B: I was gonna say. Yeah, I was like, that can't be right, dude.
[00:14:22] Speaker A: There's just moments with. With the Eagles that, like, you look over and, like, Jalen Hurts hasn't thrown three passes the whole game.
[00:14:31] Speaker C: It's.
[00:14:31] Speaker A: It's been a half, and I've seen three passes. It's like.
And. And what's going on with Saquon is. Was the offensive line coach that big of a deal that left?
[00:14:40] Speaker C: I don't know. I saw him limping on the sideline at one point.
[00:14:42] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:14:43] Speaker A: The offensive line coach.
[00:14:46] Speaker B: Saquon, you're so funny.
[00:14:49] Speaker A: Yeah, you're good.
[00:14:49] Speaker C: You're good, you're good.
[00:14:50] Speaker A: But Makai Lemon, I thought he was going to be like, the new A.J. brown. Okay. So not a problem. Okay. All right, all right, all right, all right, all right. I mean, Bengals problem. Not a problem.
[00:15:00] Speaker B: I'll be honest. I haven't watched enough of the Bengals.
[00:15:03] Speaker A: Very fraudulent. My take about Joe Burrow being a fraud is sounding better and better every Week.
[00:15:12] Speaker B: The Bengals, they're the. I. Their problem is their head coach. They are still stuck with what is it Zach Brown or something like that?
[00:15:20] Speaker C: Taylor.
[00:15:21] Speaker B: Taylor.
[00:15:22] Speaker A: Dexter Lawrence might fix their defense though. One player might have fixed their defense.
[00:15:25] Speaker B: Yeah, well, Zach Taylor needs to go.
[00:15:28] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:15:28] Speaker B: He should have gone probably last year and they kept him.
I think there is only.
There is definitely a hotter seat than. Than his.
[00:15:38] Speaker A: But. Okay.
[00:15:40] Speaker B: But.
[00:15:41] Speaker A: Oh yeah, I could get. But what about Dolphins? You were talking about Dolphins. Their problem.
Is there problems with them?
[00:15:48] Speaker B: They're the. They are a known rebuilding team.
[00:15:52] Speaker A: Okay. So not much of a problem. It's a well known problem at least.
[00:15:55] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:15:55] Speaker A: What about Titans?
Is there a problem with Tam Ward?
[00:16:00] Speaker B: You think he should be better than what they're trying out? I think the biggest problem is that that team has looked completely incompetent with Robert Salah and this dude was trying to get like a fresh start away from the jets. And it's the same.
[00:16:13] Speaker A: It's the jets, but it's the same. But he's going to get a new stadium next year. They're going to get rid of Cam Ward and try and get one of these new rookies.
[00:16:22] Speaker B: How many times can you just keep getting rid of quarterbacks before you realize like maybe you guys are the actual problem?
[00:16:28] Speaker A: Ask Bryce Young. I mean they. We wanted many times were we saying Bryce Young should go away.
[00:16:34] Speaker B: Look at him now.
Amazing defense does for you.
[00:16:40] Speaker A: While we're talking about things that came back that we wish didn't, let's talk about Gino. How'd they play yesterday? Kyle,
[00:16:48] Speaker C: that. That was a.
[00:16:50] Speaker A: Wait. You don't want to talk about one game sample sizes after last week we got to your one game sample size.
[00:16:54] Speaker C: I think you're trying to bait me for. To make a. A point or like a.
I would hurt someone. Yes, you are. But that was a.
An impressive Bears defensive performance where they totally stymied any attempt for the newer chess to have any offensive progress. And they completely controlled the time of possession. The Bears.
What did they write like the Bears, like 60 plays.
[00:17:23] Speaker A: The Bears had 34 first downs. Okay. The jets had 32 plays in the whole game. Yes, the whole game.
[00:17:31] Speaker C: It's really kind of the story wasn't
[00:17:33] Speaker A: really Super bowl era since 1966.
[00:17:35] Speaker B: Well, they. The time of possession by The Bears was enormous.
[00:17:40] Speaker A: 89 plays.
[00:17:41] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:17:41] Speaker A: To the Jets 32.
[00:17:43] Speaker B: Right. So that I think speaks more volumes to the Bears as an offense ability to draw out that clock for as
[00:17:52] Speaker C: long as they did. 100%. Yeah.
[00:17:54] Speaker B: More than it speaks against the jets, you know, because I mean, at certain
[00:17:59] Speaker A: point in the game it was like 293 yards to like 32.
[00:18:03] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:18:04] Speaker B: But that's what happens when your offense isn't able to be on the field for longer than like two.
[00:18:08] Speaker A: And when your offense can't sustain a drive, that's. I mean, you could say it could go either way as to what we're saying as to what's the reason behind it. But I just wanted to be known. You talked.
[00:18:17] Speaker C: We got to talk about the Bears. Defensive players were like, this wasn't even a game.
[00:18:21] Speaker A: It was easiest.
[00:18:23] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
[00:18:24] Speaker A: Devin Bush.
[00:18:24] Speaker B: True.
[00:18:25] Speaker A: The locker room.
[00:18:26] Speaker B: What I will say though is every team has those three and outs. It no team is immune to a three and out.
I, I So I think some of it is like the jets had some three and outs, just some bad series and they just never really had an opportunity to get back out there.
[00:18:44] Speaker C: We do have to call out the exciting turn of events. The jets snapped their interception streak.
[00:18:52] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:18:52] Speaker A: And then it got called back.
[00:18:54] Speaker C: They did. And then they got another one was recorded. Yes.
[00:18:57] Speaker A: But the one, the way they broke it. They all celebrated in the end zone and. And then it got taken back.
That's so truly, truly nothing. That's just mean. Nothing has been incredible. More jets than that.
[00:19:11] Speaker C: The number of games that they have gone since without an interception is astounding.
[00:19:17] Speaker B: Isn't it sad when you can't as a team?
[00:19:19] Speaker A: Is it more than 650? I'm sorry to cut you off.
[00:19:22] Speaker C: 650 games.
[00:19:24] Speaker A: Yeah. Or days.
[00:19:25] Speaker C: No, because I have a Days.
[00:19:28] Speaker B: Days. Makes way.
[00:19:29] Speaker A: I have a 650 days. Do you know it's been 650 days since Sauce Gard 1 in America?
[00:19:36] Speaker C: Oh, gosh.
[00:19:38] Speaker B: Couple years.
[00:19:39] Speaker A: Yeah. He got traded. He was on the Jets. He was awful there.
Then got traded. Hasn't won. All of their wins have been outside of America.
[00:19:49] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:19:49] Speaker A: They finally won their first game with SAS Garden.
[00:19:52] Speaker C: I see what you mean. I see what you mean. Yeah, yeah.
[00:19:54] Speaker A: 650 days.
[00:19:56] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:19:57] Speaker A: All right, all right. So we have some problems.
[00:19:59] Speaker C: Yeah, lots of problems across.
[00:20:01] Speaker A: Now we do have a couple things that were solved. And by solved I mean things are looking up for these people. And that's where we're going to hear from the Commish.
Wow.
Hashtag triggered. Where's the hashtag woo.
[00:21:31] Speaker B: We need more conversation about just how beastly George Kittle is.
[00:21:37] Speaker A: What's scarier him or that Darnell Washington for the Steelers who's like £900?
[00:21:43] Speaker B: That run by Kittle? Was.
I didn't know a man that large could run that fast. Yeah, he was huffing it. I mean, he was breaking away from them.
And then he gets to the end zone, arms out, keeps going. Crowd's going wild. And I'm like, man, that's gotta feel cool.
[00:22:02] Speaker C: It really does.
[00:22:03] Speaker B: I was like, man, like, that's gotta feel cool.
[00:22:05] Speaker A: I wouldn't think Adam be anti nap after. He's a west coast guy.
They're the king of naps. They nap during like Sunday night football when it's in the afternoon for them.
[00:22:18] Speaker C: Is that a stereotype?
[00:22:19] Speaker A: Yeah.
What are you gonna do about it?
[00:22:23] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:22:23] Speaker C: All right.
[00:22:24] Speaker A: You know, I complimented and said Fred Warner might be the greatest linebacker of all time last week. He's on this pod.
[00:22:30] Speaker B: At least the most handsome, right?
[00:22:33] Speaker C: Are you trying to. Are you trying to like, start like a back and forth?
[00:22:36] Speaker A: With who?
[00:22:37] Speaker C: With the commish?
[00:22:38] Speaker A: He doesn't want it.
[00:22:39] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
[00:22:40] Speaker A: If he's in the other room and you're like playing this whole little ploy.
[00:22:44] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:22:44] Speaker A: And he's. Come on out, Commish. Bring it. All right. Bring the stone cold glass. Bust the glass for your own good.
[00:22:52] Speaker C: I. I think we should like, pump the brakes a little. Say cool. Just take. Take your lumps. Move on.
[00:22:58] Speaker B: The Niners are the most consistent team
[00:23:00] Speaker C: in that division or and maybe the league.
There are three undefeated teams. The Niners have looked the best out of the three.
[00:23:09] Speaker B: The best out of the three. They are.
[00:23:10] Speaker A: Well, more rank them in if you rank them the.
[00:23:16] Speaker B: Out of the three undefeated teams.
[00:23:17] Speaker A: Rank them.
[00:23:18] Speaker B: All right, fine. I'll go. Niners, Chiefs, Vikings.
[00:23:21] Speaker C: There we go.
[00:23:23] Speaker A: All right.
[00:23:24] Speaker C: All right. Nice and easy.
[00:23:25] Speaker B: Everybody would probably do that.
[00:23:27] Speaker A: I would do what else did on the record for us.
[00:23:29] Speaker C: What else is on our agenda today?
[00:23:32] Speaker A: Well, I could. I do have legal things to get to. Justin Mattson told me, and I quote every text message unless it is said, you cannot put this on the pod. Can be put on the pod.
[00:23:46] Speaker C: Oh, wow.
[00:23:47] Speaker A: So that's crazy.
[00:23:49] Speaker C: Lots of dangerous.
[00:23:50] Speaker A: Lots of conversations yesterday. Do you want to hear a little.
Do you want to hear a football and a non football? I got a little something for you, Justin.
[00:23:57] Speaker C: Man, you pluck the good. The gems.
[00:24:00] Speaker A: Okay, Justin Matson writes in I'm tired of hearing how KO is a quarterback whisper. Yeah, right. To which my response. Why do we call it a whisperer? Anyways, I think we need a different word. I'm thinking quarterback manipulator. To which he says a quarterback puppeteer.
[00:24:18] Speaker C: Oh.
[00:24:19] Speaker A: What do you guys think?
[00:24:20] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:24:20] Speaker A: Something Better than Whisper. Is there a better. Why is it, by the way?
[00:24:23] Speaker B: Well, it's whispering.
[00:24:28] Speaker A: You guys are good hearing.
[00:24:29] Speaker C: Do you guys remember, like, there was a movie, the Horse Whisperer, when we were kids?
[00:24:33] Speaker A: Say that one more time.
[00:24:34] Speaker C: Do you remember that?
[00:24:35] Speaker B: The Horse Whisperer. Yeah, I remember, like, the Dog Whisperer.
[00:24:38] Speaker C: No, there was definitely. There was definitely a horse, you know,
[00:24:41] Speaker A: when we were kids. It was different than when you were kids.
[00:24:44] Speaker C: He. You are hardly.
[00:24:45] Speaker B: Not that much older than me.
[00:24:47] Speaker A: I know. I was talking about me and my brother.
[00:24:49] Speaker C: 1998 family movie, the Horse Whisperer. It sounds with Robert Redford and Scarlett Johansson. Oh, Sam Neill.
[00:24:57] Speaker A: Hello.
[00:24:58] Speaker B: Okay, this sounds vaguely familiar.
[00:25:01] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:25:02] Speaker A: Let's watch the movie together. Let's stop the podcast.
[00:25:04] Speaker B: I would rather us watch Flyaway Home. Great movie.
[00:25:08] Speaker A: Oh, seeing it.
[00:25:10] Speaker C: Yeah. I'm gonna watch that with my kids, actually. That's a good one.
[00:25:13] Speaker B: Get those birds.
[00:25:14] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:25:15] Speaker B: Honk.
[00:25:17] Speaker A: It's a lot. A lot of fun talk that we were having. So, quarterback Whisper or not, he said last week, we talked about, would you rather have Kevin o' Connell or would you rather have Brian Flores's defense? And you kind of scoffed at the idea of, like, well, Brian Flores, what are you thinking about? You turn into, like, joker all of a sudden, talking to me like you.
And he agreed.
[00:25:36] Speaker C: Great impression. Wow.
[00:25:37] Speaker A: Thank you.
[00:25:38] Speaker C: Oh, he was. Justin and I are aligned.
[00:25:41] Speaker A: Simpatico.
[00:25:42] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:25:42] Speaker B: But would you take wow. Flores as the head coach or just the dc?
[00:25:48] Speaker C: That's a tough one.
[00:25:48] Speaker A: It's a. It's a.
[00:25:50] Speaker B: That is difficult because he's shown he
[00:25:52] Speaker A: is a man of integrity, though. He won't tank.
[00:25:55] Speaker C: Yep.
[00:25:56] Speaker B: I mean, all I know is if you're gonna say there's any quarterback quote, unquote, whisperer, I would probably take Shanahan before anybody else in that regard.
[00:26:09] Speaker A: God, I wanted him fired, like, a year ago.
I remember coming on this pod and saying how I wanted him fired. Now I gotta eat all these words like commission. I am. I am 100 wrong in the Niners.
[00:26:21] Speaker B: I don't know.
[00:26:22] Speaker C: I was thinking that today, as much as we want.
[00:26:23] Speaker A: I want them to be bad because we have talked about. They've had their time.
[00:26:27] Speaker C: Yeah. How.
[00:26:28] Speaker A: Look how long the window was for the Lions. It's shut. They're done.
[00:26:32] Speaker B: Yeah, I think it's closed.
[00:26:34] Speaker A: And. And now depressing The Niners, they're.
They were shut for a little, but then they kicked it back open. Then they shut it, and then they're back.
[00:26:42] Speaker B: They have ebbed and flowed with some of their injuries. To their credit, they have, they were decent last year. They had like the ability. They just didn't kind of like match the pace of some of those other teams.
[00:26:53] Speaker C: I feel like I need to go on record and, and sing more praises of Purdy than I ever have in the past because I've been a little skeptical, a little like I want to agreed or a little like surrounded by superstars, yada yada, like we're a few seasons in. I officially at this point am last on the bus bandwagon or whatever it is to be like, okay, he's a great quarterback. He's actually really good.
[00:27:14] Speaker A: Can I ask you a question?
Would CJ Stroud be something similar on the 49ers and would Brock Purdy be something similar on the Houston Texans?
[00:27:26] Speaker B: We, we've done this before though where we've just. Where we play swapsies with players and coaches and teams and we've all kind of agreed that sometimes you are just put in the right spot and if you move, if you put anyone on the Texans right now, it's going to be a disaster.
[00:27:45] Speaker C: It is.
[00:27:46] Speaker B: C.J.
[00:27:46] Speaker C: had one of the best games of his career yesterday and Jordan against the. Whoever they lost to who, who beat them. The Cowboys. Against the Cowboys. CJ Stroud had actually fantastic game and they still lost.
The level of defensive regression that has occurred on that team is mystifying. This year who went from one of the best to one of the worst. They are worst in the league at giving up explosive plays. No one gives a more explosive offensive plays than the Texas defense, which makes no sense considering how suffocating they were last year.
[00:28:19] Speaker A: And think of all the great Cowboy wide receivers of all time. CD Lamb, most receptions in a game yesterday and the game winning touchdown.
They know the ball is going to
[00:28:29] Speaker C: him just like what the Lions face. I don't think there's anything more frustrating as a fan of a football player. I mean a football team, watching your team get smoked by a single player where the opposing team is just like doing the same thing until. Until you can stop it.
[00:28:46] Speaker A: But at least you can say the Lions are injured.
[00:28:48] Speaker C: It's so infuriating to watch. But when they just throw it up to Ted Roman Millennium over and over and over and over and you know that's where it's going. That's where Bryce is looking. It's not even, there's not even any shame, any like attempt to look elsewhere and it still continues to work. That's immensely frustrating as a player.
[00:29:03] Speaker A: They're at least injured and I know that the Credibility of what the Pro bowl is, isn't what it was in the past, but they have some Pro bowl defensive players and very, very good ones. And there's. They still. They can't get to the quarterback. They couldn't get to Dak. They couldn't stop. CD with double coverage.
[00:29:22] Speaker C: Right?
[00:29:23] Speaker A: Crazy.
[00:29:24] Speaker C: Fantastic. Amazing.
[00:29:26] Speaker B: We. I've just switching players.
You could put.
[00:29:30] Speaker A: Is that lazy? Do you. You don't like that kind of topic?
[00:29:32] Speaker B: Well, we've just. We've seen. I think Sam Darnold has proven to us that you are a product sometimes of where you are.
And it's not a. I can get behind that. It's not like an indictment on him.
Sometimes these guys never really get a fair shot because they're stuck on the Jets.
[00:29:54] Speaker C: You know, I think certain offenses, too, are a little bit different because of who is coaching them. And there are certain schemers like Kyle Shanahan, who has his like compared to most other coaches and OCS has, like, his hands all over every detail of that offense, like, to the nth degree. And it. It's a unique environment to put a quarterback in.
So it's very hard to just.
Since it's like kind of one of one, it's very hard to just imagine another quarterback in that system until you actually see it. I don't know. I feel like we could move quarterbacks around to a lot of different teams and just imagine that scenario. What if somebody else got to the Bengals quarterback and throw to those great receivers, you know, would they look great, too? I don't know. But the NERs, I have no idea what the result would be.
[00:30:44] Speaker B: There's like a squad of quarterbacks that I would just be like, you are good quarterbacks. And there is.
I can name three, maybe four quarterbacks that exist in the league right now where I'm like, you could go anywhere. Kurt Cousins and be fantastic.
[00:31:05] Speaker A: Good Cousins healthy on that.
[00:31:06] Speaker C: Achilles Kirk has done it. He's got the track record.
[00:31:09] Speaker B: I mean, right? The Raiders are doing the thing that with Cousins.
[00:31:15] Speaker A: Should we do it? Should we do it?
[00:31:16] Speaker C: To be fair,
[00:31:19] Speaker A: I don't know, Jim.
[00:31:20] Speaker B: I miss him with the voice I could transplant. Probably healthy Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen and A. Patrick Mahomes, probably to any team. And that team would be instantly better. Instantly. Maybe not like winning every single fricking game and going off and doing incredible things, but that team would be immediately better.
[00:31:43] Speaker A: Okay, Funnier. Quote the guy, Devin Bush for the Bears, saying, like this was, I didn't even break a sweat. Or CJ Garden, CJ Gardner Johnson saying, a bench player got elevated and made an elevated play. We'll never see him again.
[00:31:57] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, that was.
[00:31:59] Speaker A: That was something. That was. That does not happen in the NFL. They don't throw shots at each other like that.
[00:32:04] Speaker C: Like, brutal.
[00:32:05] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:32:05] Speaker A: Miles Garrett hit somebody in the head with a helmet and then said, like, I did the wrong thing afterwards. He didn't.
[00:32:11] Speaker C: Yeah. Or Jamar Chase's. No comment kind of disrespect towards.
Oh, I missed this Travis Hunter.
[00:32:19] Speaker A: Oh, because he broke T. Higgins ankles.
[00:32:22] Speaker C: No, it was before. It was before the game and somebody was like, what do you think about Travis Hunter? And Jamar Chase was just like that. Said nothing.
[00:32:29] Speaker A: There's actually two quarterback, two corners in the NFL right now that have zero yards on them when targeted man to man. One of them is Travis Hunter.
[00:32:38] Speaker B: He's having a good year.
[00:32:39] Speaker C: He actually is.
[00:32:40] Speaker A: He's having a great, great year. And playing it strictly at corner is the way it's showing. It's the way to go.
[00:32:46] Speaker C: I'm. I'm loving seeing it. The. The Jaguars are suddenly a competitive team and we wanted to see this from Travis Hunter. He was louded like that. They traded that first round pick for
[00:32:53] Speaker A: him and it took Bryant, like four weeks to finally get a touchdown for them. I'm so glad we're not doing fantasy. It's been such a weird season with ridiculous. With like, people who are getting the touchdowns. It just be. Whoever had Josh Allen that. What?
[00:33:06] Speaker B: That interception. That wasn't an interception. And then he, like, juked.
[00:33:11] Speaker C: What was it?
[00:33:12] Speaker A: T. Higgins.
[00:33:13] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. He went flying off the tv.
[00:33:15] Speaker A: It was amazing.
[00:33:16] Speaker B: I was like, that hurt somebody.
[00:33:19] Speaker A: He might have fallen in the canyon.
[00:33:20] Speaker C: Can't believe you're going to rob.
[00:33:22] Speaker B: I know. That's like. That sucks when, like, the flag comes out and everybody's all like, yeah, okay.
[00:33:29] Speaker C: It's the worst.
[00:33:29] Speaker B: It's the worst.
[00:33:30] Speaker A: We had some problems. Yeah. We need to talk about some solutions. And our solutions is it's going to come through your game. Okay. Because you got some questions on here. I loved the game when you guys played. It's going to be better because we got two people that you're going to be playing against. So, Kyle, I'm going to kick this dude's butt.
[00:33:46] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:33:47] Speaker A: Second of all.
Second of all, we're just going to go do some random numbers and we're not going to ask Siri. We're just. I don't remember what the numbers are. He doesn't remember what they are. Let's rock and Roll.
[00:33:58] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:33:58] Speaker A: Is that okay with you? The Siri kind of got on my nerves a little bit.
[00:34:02] Speaker C: Fine, fine. That's fine.
[00:34:04] Speaker A: Thanks.
[00:34:05] Speaker B: They have.
We don't need to use Siri every time.
[00:34:09] Speaker C: No, we don't need to use Siri. We can just. We can just pick a random number. But I want the integrity of the game to be unquestioned.
[00:34:15] Speaker A: Could not know what those things are. Off top of my head, Ian didn't even listen to the pod.
[00:34:19] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:34:20] Speaker C: I may have like a tiny fraction of a percentage of an advantage over the both of you because I have glanced at the pages that I printed out.
[00:34:30] Speaker A: Sure.
[00:34:31] Speaker C: But no, I don't know what numbers are coming. So right Now I've got 16 different pages. Each page represents a topic. Each topic has a numbered list.
So you guys are going to pick randomly from a number between 1 and 16.
The higher numbers are the newer categories that you have not done before. But there's a lot of other good classics. I think that we.
[00:34:54] Speaker A: That we should hit 16.
[00:34:56] Speaker C: 16 is the number we're gonna draw from.
What was the last category that I introduced to this game?
This a number. We need a random number between 1 and 58.
[00:35:12] Speaker A: Ooh, Ian's got the simulator over here.
[00:35:15] Speaker B: 1 in 58.
[00:35:16] Speaker A: 24. 24.
[00:35:18] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:35:19] Speaker B: It's like right.
[00:35:20] Speaker A: Right in the middle.
[00:35:21] Speaker B: Ish. Right in the middle.
[00:35:22] Speaker A: This is a.
[00:35:23] Speaker C: This is a weird1.
[00:35:24] Speaker A: Such 4 year olds.
[00:35:25] Speaker C: This is a numbered list.
[00:35:26] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:35:27] Speaker C: Ranked most to least.
The data set is the last five years. Last five seasons, Complete regular seasons. Okay, so the category is NFL penalties ranked by frequency in which they're have been called.
So at the top of the list is the most frequently called penalty. Oh, my God. At the bottom of the list is the least frequently called penalty in the middle.
[00:35:53] Speaker B: This is like, going to be so hard.
[00:35:54] Speaker C: What number did you say? 24.
[00:35:56] Speaker B: 24.
[00:35:57] Speaker C: 24 is the random right in the middle. So again, one of you needs to keep track of the points because we're going to be tracking the distance.
[00:36:05] Speaker B: Marshal.
[00:36:05] Speaker C: So you have to think of a penalty. A penalty that was not one of the most frequent, but not one of those really rare ones.
[00:36:14] Speaker B: I'm gonna say illegal shift.
[00:36:16] Speaker C: Illegal shift is a good guess. I like that.
[00:36:18] Speaker A: Okay, Marshall, do you have running into the punter?
[00:36:22] Speaker C: Running into the punter. Okay.
[00:36:24] Speaker B: Less. Okay, so much.
[00:36:25] Speaker C: I'm gonna say like offense. Too many men on the field. Ooh.
All right, I'm gonna flip it over.
[00:36:34] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:36:35] Speaker C: Okay, let's see. Running. Let me see if I can find running into the kicker. Running into the kicker. Is that difference than running into the punter? Are they the same penalty?
[00:36:45] Speaker A: Same. It's the same flag.
[00:36:46] Speaker B: Okay, you can give him the same.
[00:36:48] Speaker C: That is number 37 on the list.
[00:36:50] Speaker A: 37 for Marshall.
[00:36:52] Speaker B: Pretty close.
[00:36:53] Speaker C: Illegal shift is number 18.
[00:36:57] Speaker A: That's you.
[00:36:58] Speaker C: Yeah, not bad.
[00:36:59] Speaker A: And what are you, Kyle?
[00:37:01] Speaker C: Offensive. Too many. On the field is number 29.
[00:37:03] Speaker B: Oh, wow.
[00:37:04] Speaker C: Called 54 times.
[00:37:06] Speaker A: And the number we were looking for
[00:37:07] Speaker C: was 24, which was low block.
There's some friggin rare ones on here.
[00:37:15] Speaker A: I've never heard like a chop block kind of thing.
[00:37:18] Speaker C: Chop block is its own penalty. That's number 36 on the list. Low block is number 24.
[00:37:26] Speaker A: Okay, let's get our next category. Ian, one through 16, we have 16 crossed. Go for it.
[00:37:31] Speaker C: 12 page number 12. Coming at you.
[00:37:36] Speaker A: Okay, thank you for singing it.
[00:37:38] Speaker C: We need a random number generated between 1 and 61 and then I'll tell you the category.
[00:37:43] Speaker B: 61. 30. 30.
[00:37:47] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:37:48] Speaker A: I hate you.
[00:37:49] Speaker B: I just don't hate me.
[00:37:50] Speaker C: Google, meet you, Google. Let me see. These are.
These are a reverse chronological order. So number one, this is. These are dates, these are years.
Number one represents the most previous year. Okay, Going backwards in time. So we're going 30 years back in time. 30 years. This category is first overall NFL draft picks in the Super bowl era.
[00:38:15] Speaker B: 30 years back in time, I was
[00:38:18] Speaker A: six years old, Peyton Manning.
[00:38:21] Speaker C: So 30 years ago from now would have been the 1996 draft.
Is that right?
[00:38:27] Speaker B: 1996. The first overall.
[00:38:29] Speaker A: Am I saying. Am I saying the player?
[00:38:31] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:38:32] Speaker A: Oh, you're saying 19. What?
[00:38:34] Speaker C: 30 years ago you said the number 30. So that would be 30 years before now.
[00:38:38] Speaker A: I'll say Peyton Manning. That's a pretty good one for me.
[00:38:40] Speaker C: Okay. Yeah.
[00:38:42] Speaker B: And who is the first overall?
[00:38:43] Speaker C: First overall draft pick that year?
[00:38:45] Speaker B: How are we going to score this? Because what if we.
[00:38:50] Speaker C: You get a zero.
[00:38:51] Speaker A: You get a zero.
[00:38:52] Speaker B: What do you get if you get it right? Just a point. Like one point.
[00:38:56] Speaker C: Yeah, we'll figure it out. Just, I don't know.
[00:39:00] Speaker A: Don't question the scores. If you say Ryan Leaf and he was second overall, you're a loser.
[00:39:04] Speaker B: I don't. I was six years old. I don't remember. Okay, I. I could.
[00:39:11] Speaker A: That's why we're playing.
[00:39:12] Speaker C: Come on.
[00:39:12] Speaker B: It's probably a quarterback.
[00:39:15] Speaker C: Who knows? This was the 90s.
I'm gonna go.
[00:39:20] Speaker B: Oh, Brett Favre was before this. Right?
[00:39:22] Speaker C: Would have been.
[00:39:23] Speaker B: And it would have been.
[00:39:25] Speaker C: I don't think he was a number one pick.
[00:39:26] Speaker A: He was not.
[00:39:27] Speaker C: No, he was on The Falcons. But was Randall Cunningham a number one pick?
[00:39:31] Speaker B: Charlie Batch.
[00:39:35] Speaker C: I don't think it's a.
I don't think either one. I'm gonna go Randall Cunningham because I feel like he was mid-90s entering the league.
[00:39:42] Speaker A: Ian, give us a pick.
[00:39:44] Speaker B: Drew Bledo.
[00:39:46] Speaker C: Okay, we've got our players marked. We've got our players.
[00:39:49] Speaker B: No idea.
[00:39:50] Speaker C: Let's go back to number 30 on the list, which was 1997.
And the first overall pick in 97 was Orlando Pace of St. Louis Rams.
Payton Manning was 98. Wow. You were off by one year. Marshall, you crushed that.
[00:40:10] Speaker B: I feel like you should just give him the point.
And mine wasn't even a first overall pick.
[00:40:15] Speaker C: So what was your. What was your Drew Bledsoe? Blue.
[00:40:18] Speaker B: Drew Bledso.
[00:40:19] Speaker A: He's probably Blue Dreadso.
[00:40:20] Speaker C: Blue Dreadso.
[00:40:21] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:40:21] Speaker C: Yeah. He was drafted number one overall in 1993.
[00:40:25] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:40:26] Speaker A: No way.
[00:40:26] Speaker C: Yo, you crushed it.
[00:40:28] Speaker B: Wow. So I get what?
[00:40:30] Speaker A: Nothing. What? I get the point.
[00:40:33] Speaker B: Well, we could do. No, you get three points, I get two points, and then.
[00:40:37] Speaker C: Oh.
[00:40:38] Speaker B: Oh.
[00:40:38] Speaker C: How about two, one and zero to make it simple. Yeah. Yeah.
[00:40:42] Speaker A: What was Randall Cunningham?
[00:40:44] Speaker C: He was never drafted over number one overall.
[00:40:47] Speaker B: I just guessed. I was like, I don't know.
[00:40:49] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:40:50] Speaker B: I was just thinking of trying to think of quarterbacks.
[00:40:52] Speaker C: You know, I should have played a better strategy and just, like, picked another one.
[00:40:55] Speaker A: All right, give us a number. Kyle. That was good. I like that thing. Only because I won that category.
[00:40:59] Speaker B: 3.
[00:41:00] Speaker C: You guys are picking the page or what?
[00:41:02] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, sure.
[00:41:04] Speaker A: I'm gonna go two.
[00:41:09] Speaker C: Here comes page number two.
Incredible sound effects.
[00:41:15] Speaker A: Every.
Every single time we're here for the sound effects and a football show just happens around it. Yeah.
[00:41:21] Speaker C: Okay, here's number two. We need a random number between one
[00:41:26] Speaker B: in 101 and a hundred. I put 200.
I didn't mean to.
[00:41:31] Speaker C: Okay, give us 23. This is NFL top 100 regular season receiving yards leaders for their career.
Okay. Career receiving yards only regular season. 23. Who would be ranked 23 in that list?
[00:41:47] Speaker B: Part of me just wants to go for, like, a top 20 and get as close to, like, being in the top 20 as possible.
[00:41:54] Speaker C: Yeah, that's what you got to do. That's what you got.
[00:41:56] Speaker A: Because Larry Fitzgerald. Oh, I was literally.
[00:42:01] Speaker C: I think. I think he's too high. I think he's higher.
[00:42:04] Speaker A: I think he could be, like, 12.
[00:42:05] Speaker C: I think he could be.
Can we get somebody in the 20s who did.
[00:42:12] Speaker B: I'm almost thinking. I'm trying to think of, like, a Jordy Nelson. Oh. Type. But I Feel like Jordy Nelson might
[00:42:20] Speaker C: be a bit rich.
[00:42:21] Speaker B: Too low?
[00:42:22] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:42:23] Speaker B: So I'm like, I don't want to go.
[00:42:24] Speaker C: By the way, I bet he's.
[00:42:25] Speaker A: I'm just gonna throw this out there.
[00:42:26] Speaker C: That's a good one.
[00:42:28] Speaker B: Golden.
[00:42:29] Speaker C: Oh, interesting.
[00:42:31] Speaker B: I'm a little afraid that he's not in a top 20.
[00:42:34] Speaker C: I don't think he's stopped.
[00:42:35] Speaker A: Hey, just stop talking him off of things, all right? Let him pick things.
[00:42:38] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:42:38] Speaker B: Bolden.
[00:42:40] Speaker C: I'm going. Shannon Sharp. Shannon Sharp. That's my guess.
It might. It might not be a good choice, but I think he had a long career.
Throw a guy out there.
[00:42:52] Speaker A: Dude.
[00:42:53] Speaker B: I just want to get points. So I want to. I want to be close, and I know Calvin Johnson would be close. He'd be top 20 for sure.
But I think he'd be too high.
[00:43:02] Speaker C: He might be too high.
[00:43:03] Speaker A: I don't know. He got injured pretty early,
[00:43:06] Speaker B: and so now I'm trying to think of, like, other well known receivers that I'm like, you were pretty good, right? Like, who was the other guy that.
[00:43:14] Speaker A: Come on.
[00:43:15] Speaker B: Now that Aaron Rodgers was thrown to a lot in the Super Bowl.
[00:43:19] Speaker C: Stop.
[00:43:20] Speaker A: That's a trick.
[00:43:22] Speaker B: What was his name in the Super Bowl?
[00:43:27] Speaker C: Oh, yeah. Jennings.
[00:43:29] Speaker A: Greg Jennings.
[00:43:30] Speaker C: Thank you. Thank you. Is that your guess?
I don't think he stopped running.
[00:43:35] Speaker B: No, I don't.
[00:43:36] Speaker A: Come on.
[00:43:37] Speaker B: Kelvin Johnson.
[00:43:38] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. I think he was trying to find Donald Driver.
[00:43:42] Speaker C: Okay, let me find.
This is 2030, whoever it was.
This is crazy.
[00:43:51] Speaker B: We're all probably.
[00:43:52] Speaker C: This is crazy. Calvin Johnson is number 37 on the list.
[00:43:56] Speaker B: Only 37. Wow.
[00:43:58] Speaker C: Larry Fitzgerald is number two on the list.
[00:44:03] Speaker A: Two.
[00:44:04] Speaker C: Two, I think, behind Jerry Rice.
[00:44:06] Speaker B: Closer than yours.
[00:44:07] Speaker C: Behind Jerry Rice.
[00:44:08] Speaker A: Yes. Jesus.
[00:44:10] Speaker B: Mine was 37.
[00:44:12] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:44:12] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:44:14] Speaker C: Let me see if I can.
[00:44:15] Speaker B: Only 14 off. Yeah.
[00:44:17] Speaker A: Shannon Sharp on the board.
[00:44:19] Speaker C: 56.
Shannon Sharp is number 56 in the list. 10,060 yards, 33 off.
[00:44:25] Speaker B: I got the closest.
[00:44:26] Speaker A: All right, thank you. Next number. Let's hear it.
[00:44:28] Speaker C: Dang.
[00:44:30] Speaker B: I will go number 15.
Let's go for something.
[00:44:34] Speaker C: Number 15. We need a random number between 1 and 3.
[00:44:38] Speaker A: 13.
[00:44:38] Speaker B: 1 in 13.
Let's see what we get.
[00:44:43] Speaker C: This is a weird category.
[00:44:44] Speaker A: Number one.
[00:44:47] Speaker C: Number one.
Okay. All right.
[00:44:51] Speaker B: It's a small number, sample size, so.
[00:44:54] Speaker C: All right. This might be a weird, goofy1. Okay. NFL team colors ranked by frequency.
Every NFL team has two primary colors. Those are the ones recorded on this page here. So all 32 teams are listed on this page with their two primary colors making up there.
[00:45:13] Speaker B: Are we doing, like, brand off? Brand like, are we differentiating between, like, powder blue and Honolulu blue?
[00:45:20] Speaker C: No.
[00:45:20] Speaker B: Just blue?
[00:45:21] Speaker C: No, the main colors are grouped together. That's why there's only 13.
So blue is just blue.
[00:45:28] Speaker B: We have to get the color combination.
[00:45:30] Speaker A: No, I was just saying one color. Do we.
[00:45:33] Speaker C: We have to. Because you drew number one, we have to guess which color is number one on the list. Which is the most frequent?
[00:45:40] Speaker B: Blue.
I'm taking blue.
[00:45:43] Speaker C: You're taking blue.
[00:45:45] Speaker B: I guess we could all.
[00:45:47] Speaker C: Do you have one Red?
[00:45:49] Speaker B: That's a good one.
[00:45:50] Speaker C: Okay, I'll just go black.
[00:45:52] Speaker A: I was tempted to say black, but I didn't know if that'd be cheating.
[00:45:54] Speaker C: Let's see what it is.
[00:45:56] Speaker B: Blue.
[00:45:57] Speaker C: Blue is number one.
[00:45:58] Speaker B: Boom.
[00:45:59] Speaker C: Red is number two. Black is number three.
[00:46:01] Speaker B: Wow. Good job, guys.
[00:46:03] Speaker C: Blue appears in 14 teams.
[00:46:06] Speaker B: That was pretty common.
[00:46:07] Speaker C: I was like, slash. Burgundy is in 10 different teams. And there are seventeens which have black as one of their primary colors.
[00:46:14] Speaker A: All right, let's go to number five.
Actually, I want to do a new one. Give us 15 or 14.
[00:46:19] Speaker C: 14.
[00:46:20] Speaker B: We just did 15.
[00:46:21] Speaker C: This is going to be a fun one for us.
I need a random number between 1 and 75.
[00:46:27] Speaker B: 75. 67. That's.
I tell you, friends. Good luck. It says 7 on there. 6.
[00:46:36] Speaker C: 7.
[00:46:37] Speaker A: How much?
[00:46:38] Speaker B: 75. So it's near the. Near the back end, but not completely.
[00:46:42] Speaker A: Unless he goes counter chronologically.
[00:46:44] Speaker C: Like, okay, this is in the super bowl era.
Detroit Lions top 75 receiving yards leaders.
[00:46:55] Speaker B: Oh, this is. So this is one of the worst ones.
[00:46:58] Speaker C: This is lower on the list. Who is the 67th ranked Lions receiving yards leader?
[00:47:08] Speaker A: I have an answer.
[00:47:09] Speaker C: Have fun with this one, boys.
[00:47:11] Speaker B: Dan Campbell did receive some yards. Now, are these specific to wide receivers?
[00:47:17] Speaker C: No, this is anybody who caught passes. Anybody has receiving yards. Anyone?
[00:47:22] Speaker B: I. I will say.
I will say Dan Campbell.
[00:47:25] Speaker C: That's fun. You think he's top 75?
[00:47:27] Speaker B: This is top 75.
[00:47:29] Speaker C: Yes.
[00:47:29] Speaker B: Oh, I thought.
[00:47:31] Speaker A: Come on.
[00:47:31] Speaker B: Okay, I will rewind then.
Charles Rogers.
[00:47:36] Speaker C: Charles Rogers.
[00:47:37] Speaker A: I'm Roy Williams.
[00:47:38] Speaker C: Roy Williams.
I'm gonna go with a running back.
Somebody like.
Like David Montgomery. Let's just go with that because I
[00:47:49] Speaker A: think that he won't even be on the board. But go ahead.
[00:47:51] Speaker C: We'll see.
We'll see. I know that running backs are on there.
[00:47:54] Speaker A: Wait, he. No, come on, don't do this.
[00:47:57] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:47:58] Speaker B: Durham. Durham.
[00:48:00] Speaker A: No, he's got. I already wrote it.
[00:48:01] Speaker C: Are you changing? Okay. All right.
[00:48:03] Speaker A: Charles Rogers.
[00:48:04] Speaker C: Charles Rogers is.
You know, you guys, first of all, who's 67? 67 is Reggie Bush.
[00:48:15] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:48:15] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:48:16] Speaker A: I was actually thinking you were gonna guess Reggie Bush when you said running backs, which would.
[00:48:21] Speaker B: Charles Rogers probably isn't on there. He's probably not top 75.
[00:48:25] Speaker C: David Montgomery is 72.
[00:48:27] Speaker A: Wow.
[00:48:27] Speaker C: I hate you, and I am not seeing a Charles Rogers.
[00:48:34] Speaker B: Durham. Was Durham on there?
I did throw that name.
[00:48:38] Speaker A: Giving me a third guess while we're at it.
[00:48:40] Speaker B: That was my. I yelled that out as it was going.
[00:48:44] Speaker A: Roy Williams on there.
[00:48:46] Speaker C: Roy Williams.
I'm looking, I'm looking. You gotta. You guys gotta talk while I'm looking this.
[00:48:51] Speaker A: Top 75 is hard going from Dan Campbell.
[00:48:55] Speaker B: I. No, my.
[00:48:56] Speaker A: I. Just kidding.
[00:48:57] Speaker B: I wanted interpretation was these are the 75, like, receivers in the super bowl era that have, like, received yards.
[00:49:05] Speaker A: Sure, sure.
[00:49:05] Speaker B: So that's how I interpreted.
[00:49:07] Speaker A: I was like, well, I've seen him catch a ball.
[00:49:10] Speaker B: He. He did, yeah.
[00:49:11] Speaker C: Oh, Roy Williams is number 10.
[00:49:13] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:49:13] Speaker A: I just.
[00:49:14] Speaker B: He's that high.
[00:49:15] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:49:15] Speaker C: 3,884 yards.
[00:49:18] Speaker A: I love that guy.
[00:49:19] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:49:20] Speaker A: All right.
[00:49:20] Speaker C: And I don't.
[00:49:21] Speaker A: Kyle wins that one.
[00:49:22] Speaker B: Charles Durham or Charles Rogers isn't on.
[00:49:24] Speaker A: All right, let's get our new category 13. Can we do 13 for us, Kyle?
[00:49:27] Speaker B: I don't know how you score when they're not on the list, so.
[00:49:31] Speaker C: Okay. Number one between one and 194.
[00:49:37] Speaker A: Okay.
[00:49:38] Speaker C: All right, let's get a random number for this category. A little more straightforward.
[00:49:43] Speaker B: Did we do 31 already? I felt like we did a 1 through 100, and it was like a 30.
[00:49:47] Speaker C: I don't remember that.
[00:49:48] Speaker B: That's what it's giving me. I'm gonna hit a button one more time. This is 83 now.
[00:49:52] Speaker C: Didn't make it easier.
This is pretty simple. NFL top 100 quarterback rushing yards leaders. Oh, my God.
[00:50:03] Speaker B: Can we go back to.
[00:50:04] Speaker C: Did you say 83 or 81? That's gonna make a big difference. Oh, my God.
Rushing yards leaders for a quarterback. So I'm. My thought process is somebody who just had a long career but probably wasn't a heavy rush.
He might. He's probably on the top 100 list.
[00:50:27] Speaker B: He's probably. But I think he has, like. His career was so long, I thought,
[00:50:33] Speaker C: yeah, you only need a few every year.
[00:50:35] Speaker B: His total yardage is, like, I think was a big deal when he broke a thousand.
[00:50:39] Speaker C: Right, right.
[00:50:40] Speaker A: I almost want to give you my Patrick Mahomes.
[00:50:44] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:50:45] Speaker A: Because of just a lot of Neils.
[00:50:48] Speaker C: Right?
[00:50:50] Speaker A: That's a thing.
[00:50:50] Speaker C: Okay. Okay. That doesn't count as every.
[00:50:53] Speaker A: That's rushing yards.
[00:50:55] Speaker C: Oh, right, right, right, right.
[00:50:57] Speaker A: It cuts your rushing yards but it doesn't cut the team's rushing yards. It's a very big problem.
[00:51:03] Speaker B: He's going to be too high.
[00:51:04] Speaker A: Okay, you think, you think I should change it?
[00:51:06] Speaker C: I think he'll be higher than 80 something.
[00:51:08] Speaker A: Okay, I'll come. Come back to me. Okay.
[00:51:11] Speaker B: I'm gonna say like a Matt Stafford. He doesn't run a lot, but he's been in the. The league a long time.
[00:51:16] Speaker C: I. I bet he's higher than that.
You guys are going to be surprised with 100 people lists.
[00:51:23] Speaker A: Jake Plummer.
[00:51:23] Speaker C: This is like. This is like everybody you can think of Jake Plummer. Everybody's on the list. Jake Pl. Jake Plummer.
[00:51:29] Speaker B: Carson Palmer type.
[00:51:31] Speaker C: I'm going. Jay Cutler.
[00:51:32] Speaker B: Jay Cutler.
[00:51:33] Speaker C: Okay.
[00:51:35] Speaker B: I already locked in Stafford, so I might as well just lose.
[00:51:38] Speaker C: Okay. What number did you say? 83.
[00:51:41] Speaker B: 83.
[00:51:42] Speaker C: Rick Myr.
[00:51:43] Speaker B: I don't even know who that guy.
[00:51:44] Speaker C: I don't know who that is.
Let's see if I can.
[00:51:47] Speaker A: I love Myers.
[00:51:48] Speaker C: Either of our guesses.
[00:51:49] Speaker B: Who did he even play for?
[00:51:52] Speaker C: Okay, remind me. Matthew Stafford is 68 on the list. Not bad. Not bad.
[00:51:58] Speaker A: Jay Cutler on the board. I am plumber on the board.
[00:52:01] Speaker C: Jake plummer is number 40.
[00:52:03] Speaker A: Darn it.
[00:52:05] Speaker C: Jake plumbers number 40. Let's see if I can even find.
[00:52:07] Speaker A: No J color on this. I was gonna say I'd be surprised if he got it.
[00:52:13] Speaker C: Frick. No, I don't. I'm not seeing.
[00:52:15] Speaker A: This is hurting.
[00:52:15] Speaker C: I'm not seeing him right now.
[00:52:17] Speaker A: Ian's winning, by the way.
[00:52:18] Speaker C: Oh, Jay Cutler's 48.
[00:52:20] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:52:21] Speaker A: 48.
[00:52:22] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:52:22] Speaker A: Beat me. Nice work.
[00:52:24] Speaker B: Impressed with that, Stafford. Where was Tom Brady? He had to be pretty high.
[00:52:28] Speaker C: Let's see if I can find him
[00:52:30] Speaker B: just based on longevity. Long. Yeah, I mean, he. He had over just over a thousand yards.
[00:52:36] Speaker C: And there's just some. There's just some fun names on.
[00:52:39] Speaker A: Hit me with a couple. Just smile at me.
[00:52:40] Speaker C: Justin fields is number 14.
[00:52:43] Speaker A: Heck yeah.
[00:52:43] Speaker C: He runs all time.
[00:52:45] Speaker B: That definitely means Mahomes is like top 10.
Top five, probably.
[00:52:49] Speaker C: Yeah. Patrick Mahomes is 16.
[00:52:52] Speaker B: Wow.
[00:52:53] Speaker C: Overall. Do you guys know who's number one?
[00:52:56] Speaker B: Michael, Vicky.
[00:52:58] Speaker C: Vic is two.
[00:52:59] Speaker A: Lamar.
[00:53:00] Speaker C: Lamar is one. He is 400. Asked him last year some yards more than Michael Vick. Now he's number three.
[00:53:07] Speaker B: Just gonna say he's got to be up there too.
[00:53:09] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah. I'm not seeing. Where is Tom Brady on this list? Oh, number 85. Actually. That would have been a fantastic guess.
[00:53:18] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. I was so close to picking him.
[00:53:21] Speaker C: We talked you out.
[00:53:22] Speaker B: Well, because then you were like.
[00:53:23] Speaker A: I don't know.
[00:53:25] Speaker C: Because, like, Jaden Daniels is 80 on the list like you climbed. You climb this list fast.
[00:53:31] Speaker B: Yeah.
[00:53:31] Speaker A: One good year of running, right? Get some to 80.
[00:53:34] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:53:35] Speaker A: I think we have time for two more. Okay, two more. How about you pick a number? You don't know what these are.
[00:53:39] Speaker C: All right, I'm just gonna shuffle the pages and pull one out.
I need a
[00:53:49] Speaker A: number between one and 31 and be a team.
[00:53:54] Speaker B: Okay, well, that'd be 32.
[00:53:57] Speaker A: You know what I mean?
[00:53:58] Speaker B: It's giving me number one.
[00:54:01] Speaker C: NFL stadiums ranked by seating capacity. Most to least most.
[00:54:06] Speaker A: Who's top?
[00:54:07] Speaker B: Dallas got with AT T.
Okay.
[00:54:10] Speaker A: I was gonna say Seattle.
[00:54:12] Speaker C: Okay.
I'm going Lambo
[00:54:19] Speaker B: the most at number one.
[00:54:21] Speaker C: Yeah.
I feel like some of those older outdoor stadiums are actually, like, have high seating, apparently.
[00:54:28] Speaker B: Doesn't the big house have, like, more seating capacity than, like.
[00:54:31] Speaker C: Oh, it does. Yeah. Than any pro.
[00:54:32] Speaker A: But Penn State has more than, like, any in the ncaa.
I think it's. Penn State and Tennessee are pretty close to.
[00:54:40] Speaker C: They're huge. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
[00:54:42] Speaker B: That's insane to me.
[00:54:44] Speaker A: Okay, number one.
[00:54:46] Speaker C: MetLife Giants and Jets, 82, 500 capacity Packers. Lambeau Field is number two.
[00:54:53] Speaker A: Oh.
[00:54:54] Speaker C: AT T Stadium is number three.
Good guess, Ian. And your guess? The Seattle Seahawks.
Number 15, Lumen Field. 69, 000.
[00:55:05] Speaker B: I knew.
Nice.
[00:55:08] Speaker A: All right, Kyle. Kyle's got two points up here. Ian has. Oh, wait. Kyle, three points.
Ian, three points. Marshall, one point. Holding on with that pain, Manning.
[00:55:18] Speaker C: I want to do this one. I'm picking this one because this is just fun. This is classic, dudes. Give us a 1 to 100. 1 to 100 and we're gonna reach into our bag and we're gonna pull out the 57. 57th ranked pretty much in the middle career rushing yards leaders.
Was that your guess last time?
[00:55:44] Speaker B: I think it was.
[00:55:44] Speaker C: I think I. Yeah. Oh, I. I did hear from. Did I.
I heard from Simon.
Assignment of Reedsma's Raiders.
[00:55:53] Speaker A: Reedsman's Raiders.
[00:55:55] Speaker C: Yeah. Simon did say a couple of things.
[00:56:00] Speaker A: Can I give you my pick while you're filibustering poorly? Yeah.
[00:56:03] Speaker C: Yeah, yeah.
[00:56:03] Speaker A: Jerome Bettis.
[00:56:05] Speaker C: Jerome Bettis is your guess. And I like that guess. That's a solid guess.
[00:56:10] Speaker A: Just a dude being a dude right there.
[00:56:12] Speaker B: There's a dude being a dude.
[00:56:13] Speaker C: Simon, what if the Raiders signed Tyreek Hill?
[00:56:18] Speaker A: Apparently the Chiefs are in talks with them.
[00:56:21] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:56:22] Speaker A: Getting the band back together.
[00:56:24] Speaker C: That's right. That's right.
[00:56:26] Speaker B: 57.
[00:56:27] Speaker C: 57. All time rushing leader.
[00:56:29] Speaker B: So these are like Pretty good running backs.
[00:56:33] Speaker C: They're decent. Like they would have had to either have a really hot moment or have a pretty enduring career.
[00:56:40] Speaker B: What was that one guy's name? Oh, from the Texans.
[00:56:44] Speaker A: Oh, I know who you're talking about,
[00:56:49] Speaker C: but I can't think of it like a recent guy.
[00:56:52] Speaker B: Oh, I don't know if he's recent.
[00:56:57] Speaker C: This is a tough one. 57. Who's up there?
[00:57:01] Speaker A: He's thinking of Arian Foster.
[00:57:03] Speaker B: Arian Foster?
[00:57:04] Speaker C: Aryan Foster. Great guess. Okay.
[00:57:09] Speaker B: Huh.
[00:57:09] Speaker A: He's now famous for being a part of a pro marijuana podcast called Micro Dozing.
[00:57:17] Speaker C: Nice.
[00:57:18] Speaker A: Big advocate for marijuana, but I feel
[00:57:20] Speaker B: like Reggie Bush had way more than Foster.
[00:57:23] Speaker A: Don't go to this.
[00:57:24] Speaker C: Don't repeat this dude. You know more dudes. Pick a new dude.
[00:57:27] Speaker A: Okay. Aaron Foster's a fun pick for you. I like that as a name. Makes me smile. But hit me with a Kyle. What do you got?
[00:57:34] Speaker C: I'm going to go Isaiah Pacheco.
[00:57:36] Speaker B: Okay, fine. I'll stick with Foster.
[00:57:38] Speaker C: All right, let's see who I can find on this list. 57 is James Brooks.
[00:57:45] Speaker B: Don't even know who that is.
[00:57:46] Speaker A: Running back for the Bucks.
[00:57:50] Speaker C: Yes. Let's see where these dudes are. Dudes, dudes.
It takes me a minute to find them.
[00:58:01] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:58:01] Speaker A: The bus has got to stand out. Yes, it's the frickin bus.
[00:58:05] Speaker B: Bettis.
[00:58:07] Speaker A: Yeah.
You know what number he wore in college?
[00:58:10] Speaker C: Jerome Bettis is number eight.
[00:58:14] Speaker A: What are you laughing at? Arian Foster.
[00:58:16] Speaker B: Yeah. Foster's probably not even on this list.
[00:58:18] Speaker A: Yeah, so I'm closer. Take that.
[00:58:20] Speaker B: I didn't even know who to switch it.
[00:58:21] Speaker A: Jason Hansen.
[00:58:24] Speaker B: Hey, man, don't be knocking a lot
[00:58:26] Speaker A: of a lot of all caps messages from Justin Matson hearing you play the game.
[00:58:30] Speaker B: Why?
[00:58:31] Speaker A: Were sent to me just like Jason Hansen.
[00:58:34] Speaker C: What?
Come on.
[00:58:36] Speaker B: He's the greatest of all time.
[00:58:38] Speaker C: Arian Foster is 89.
[00:58:39] Speaker B: Oh, that's not bad. Hey, closer than me. I'm proud of myself.
[00:58:45] Speaker A: Pikachu on the board. Isaiah Pacheco. Haven't heard him. We went from 8 to 89. I didn't hear Pikachu said anywhere. Wow.
[00:58:53] Speaker C: There's some guys on here that are surprising to me. Look at that. David Montgomery is 98, Le'Veon Bell is 85. And Lamar Jackson is 84.
With the only as I think is the only quarterback I see on the list.
Top 100.
[00:59:08] Speaker B: That would be.
[00:59:08] Speaker C: I do not see an Isaiah Pacheco. I think I'm taking an L on that one.
[00:59:13] Speaker B: Overshot.
[00:59:13] Speaker C: Yep, yep, yep, yep.
[00:59:15] Speaker B: It was a Fun guess.
Yeah.
[00:59:17] Speaker A: Yeah. Wow. All that for Ian to win.
[00:59:21] Speaker C: Good job, Ian.
[00:59:21] Speaker B: Suck it.
[00:59:22] Speaker C: You crushed it.
Well done, sir.
[00:59:26] Speaker A: Anything else we need to talk about before the pod's over?
[00:59:30] Speaker B: We haven't really been doing our picks. Are we still talking about those?
[00:59:34] Speaker A: Well, we did have a little controversy.
[00:59:37] Speaker C: We did, did we?
[00:59:40] Speaker A: No.
My lock for the week is I have.
I'm gonna just pick a team and hope that what happened in the Dark Knight Rises happens. So I have the Cleveland Browns over the New York jets as my lock. Guarantee they will win.
[00:59:57] Speaker B: Okay. Slightly disappointed in you.
[00:59:59] Speaker A: Thank you. What's your lock, Ian? Yawn at us about your pick that you're so excited about to tell us.
[01:00:04] Speaker B: Dallas over Tampa.
[01:00:05] Speaker A: Wow. Really ballsy. Another backup quarterback, huh? Yep. All right. How about you, captain?
You know, get on your high horse and pick a tough game?
[01:00:16] Speaker C: Go ahead.
I don't know why. I don't understand where you're coming from, but I'm sorry to do this, but just. You deserve this. I'm guaranteeing that the Lions are going to beat your Cardinals.
[01:00:26] Speaker B: What you got?
[01:00:28] Speaker A: You didn't take them as your upset?
[01:00:31] Speaker B: Who?
[01:00:32] Speaker A: The Cardinals. My Cardinals?
[01:00:35] Speaker B: I have them winning that game.
[01:00:37] Speaker C: Oh, yeah, you do.
[01:00:39] Speaker A: Not as his upset. Pick of the week, though.
[01:00:40] Speaker B: Not as my upset. My upset is the Vegas Raiders over the Raiders over the Patriots.
[01:00:48] Speaker A: I got New Orleans beating Minnesota as my upset. I'm a mother. Shocker.
[01:00:53] Speaker C: Okay.
[01:00:54] Speaker A: Like through and through. He's. He is like, if I could ask the Cardinals to trade for somebody, I would want him.
If I could pick one player, I would let them trade Marvin Harrison Jr.
And a lot of money for shock
[01:01:11] Speaker C: the way that'd be a good trade.
[01:01:12] Speaker B: Defense is playing.
He's gonna have his work cut out for him as a second year player, though.
[01:01:19] Speaker A: Second to do with anything. He'd be a second year player.
[01:01:21] Speaker B: It just. He's still young in the league and I bet Flores can take advantage of the fact that he has probably inexperienced at a professional level in your upset pick.
[01:01:32] Speaker A: Don't get mad about it. Just get upset.
[01:01:34] Speaker C: I'm calling in this division matchup, the Chargers are bouncing back against the Broncos.
[01:01:38] Speaker A: Wow.
[01:01:39] Speaker B: They're finally bouncing back. They haven't won a game. What are they bouncing back like? They have.
[01:01:43] Speaker C: They're gonna find their groove and they haven't bounced back. They're gonna bounce.
[01:01:50] Speaker B: There's a real good shot. They're gonna go into their bye week winless.
[01:01:54] Speaker C: I know their schedule is really bad.
[01:01:56] Speaker B: That's really rough for them.
[01:01:58] Speaker A: Very rough.
[01:01:59] Speaker B: And they are playing like cheeks So
[01:02:02] Speaker C: I told you before the season started, don't get involved with the Chargers.
[01:02:07] Speaker B: I can't believe the two. My.
My.
[01:02:11] Speaker A: Super Tony Romo.
[01:02:12] Speaker B: Oh. Has been the worst idea.
[01:02:16] Speaker C: I can't remember who yours were.
[01:02:18] Speaker B: Both LA teams.
[01:02:20] Speaker A: Oh.
[01:02:23] Speaker B: I don't think I trust the Rams for anything.
[01:02:26] Speaker C: That's a good one. That's.
[01:02:27] Speaker A: You're amazing.
[01:02:27] Speaker B: So I'm like, watching this unfold for both of these teams. I'm like, what the hell?
[01:02:33] Speaker A: I have a big question for you guys. You know, we have clean and. And I gotta tell you, there. There's a part of this pod that's like, we have fun, but we also have a part of this pod where we gotta. We gotta roast each other accordingly. Am I given permission to roast accordingly?
[01:02:49] Speaker C: One of us?
[01:02:49] Speaker A: Yeah.
[01:02:50] Speaker C: I don't consent to being roasted.
[01:02:52] Speaker A: Ian, we haven't roasted you.
Yeah.
[01:02:55] Speaker B: Huh.
[01:02:58] Speaker C: I don't know why we.
[01:02:59] Speaker A: Go ahead. Commission. You didn't roast me.
[01:03:01] Speaker C: It was a hashtag. Come on. It was a gentle ribbing, man. Come on.
[01:03:06] Speaker A: I'm just letting you know.
[01:03:07] Speaker C: Grow some thicker.
[01:03:08] Speaker A: Wow.
[01:03:09] Speaker C: Me?
[01:03:09] Speaker A: Thicker skin. I was just gonna ask you guys if you were, you know, still happy with the quarterback that you guys paid, you know, $12 million at University of Michigan for.
[01:03:19] Speaker C: The Michigan situation is bad. We were just talking about that.
[01:03:21] Speaker A: You guys are big college fans. I mean, you guys have been staying up, watching the games when they won the. Natty. I was making sure. You're doing the same thing now.
Yeah.
[01:03:29] Speaker C: And it looks terrible. It's very sad.
[01:03:32] Speaker A: I was just asking about.
[01:03:33] Speaker C: No, no. They look very bad.
[01:03:36] Speaker A: You guys hate when I get last word. That's like, your biggest pet peeve of mine.
[01:03:39] Speaker C: You're gonna have it. I'll give it to you.
[01:03:40] Speaker A: Thank you.
[01:03:41] Speaker B: You hate not having the last word.
[01:03:44] Speaker A: You're right.
[01:03:45] Speaker B: You like it? I feel like that's a bigger thing.
[01:03:48] Speaker C: I know. It doesn't mean that much to me.
[01:03:49] Speaker B: Yeah.
[01:03:50] Speaker C: Here, you can have it.
[01:03:56] Speaker B: He's. He's paused it. He ended.
[01:03:59] Speaker A: What are you doing?
[01:04:00] Speaker B: He steered this whole thing where he's. It's already done recording. I bet.
[01:04:04] Speaker C: No, it's got that smile, and you
[01:04:06] Speaker B: could turn that to me. I have no idea what I'm looking at, and you know that. I have no idea what I'm looking at.
The numbers are apparently moving.
[01:04:12] Speaker C: Oh, right.
[01:04:13] Speaker B: All right.
[01:04:16] Speaker C: Well, what are your last words?
[01:04:19] Speaker B: He's gonna wait till the very end.
[01:04:21] Speaker C: I know, I know, I know.
[01:04:22] Speaker B: So he could be like.
Because that's how he laughs, right? He does laugh like that.
[01:04:29] Speaker C: What is he gonna say, though? What's his last word? He's already got it in his head. You know it.
[01:04:33] Speaker B: I. I miss the stupid jokes from the year prior.
[01:04:36] Speaker C: I kind of. Do you think it'll be like a Notre Dame reference? He's sitting there with it in his head. He's not gonna.
[01:04:43] Speaker B: It's probably sitting there. He's probably already paused it. We could be still be done.
[01:04:52] Speaker A: Ra.
